I think Kapkan is better on border there are so many “fake doorways” that you can put the traps on as well as many places you can hide them.

the elevators get you to every floor you want and they don't check when I use him

castle is almost useful for every site on border in all honesty. he’s just so useful for playing off site when a lot of the sites require vertical play, it helps push attackers off

Pulse is definitely great on Consulate. Played some causal yesterday and I went down to the bottom floor and using his heartbeat sensor, I got a double kill with his nitro cell.

I practically never ban Thatcher. Either solo or in stack I always try to communicate with my team and believe that with this approach we, as a team, can squeeze much more value from him and other strong ops. A great alternative to all those boring meta bans is to use apps such as R6 Analyst to take down enemy's best mains or to aim for bans with a specific goal in mind. After my comeback to Siege I managed to hit P1 with this mindset and I encourage everyone to try more creative ways to play.

Tip: I would recommend you to use reverb on your voice when you have other background sound like from the game. You can then put your voice with reverb and the game sound trough a compressor and your voice will always be dominant overall because of the reverb making that space in sound. On the other hand if you have only the voice but it sounds too dry then that is a good reason to use reverb because it makes the voice wider, though i would use a different type of reverb. A room reverb would give a good sound because it is usually short and represents more the environment you are in.

Love the content you produce pox. You've become my go to for siege tips. Though I don't see a point in any tips on emerald plains because it's always banned 😭😭😭. Lol

Clubhouse can be a good map for Zero too, he can open CC or Jacuzzi wall by himself even if they're electrified. Found out after my teammates weren't competent enough to open the wall despite having the operators to do so.

Hey! Oryx main is back again. Border is a GREAT pick. A close range, frag heavy map is perfect for Oryx, especially one with that many hatches. A 1.5 scope is great for almost any gunfight on border (let alone any other map) and is great on the T-5. As for Kanal, I am also with you. Kanal is a very interesting map, to say the least, and it doesn't suit Oryx at all, for 2 reasons. 1 reason is the fact that Kanal isn't a vertically large map. There are 4 hatches (to my knowledge) and every single one of them is a bad jump. If you jump from supply room to coast guard, chances are site isn't in either place. That means that site is on the other side of the map, and for a late flank, a stairway is a much better option. Ditto for every other hatch. The ONLY possible situation that I see a hatch jump being a good thing, is if the attackers are about to take site and you jump up for a flank. Because I see a few other comments talking about Oryx, I'll even dive into those. I think Jason is also correct, I quite like Oryx on Oregon. The upper floor can be completely controlled by Oryx with alarms, and if he loses control, he may be able to jump up a hatch to flank and retake. Darryl D Chaves Guzman is also correct, Bank is an INCREDIBLY strong map for Oryx, if you know how to use him. You can go from the basment to 2F in about 10 seconds. And if you remember my old comment, that spot gave me a bit of inspiration for my advice. "You can swing them from one floor, change floors, then swing them again from a completely different angle" (something along those lines). Those are the only comments regarding Oryx I could find. I'll be back Pox.

I LOVE playing Castle on Coastline @kitchen, and Border @tellers. Tellers is really fun to open the soft wall into showers between bombs and hold main window from there. Also fun to castle off the waiting room diagonal door, with a bulletproof cam watching the entrance next to customs.

That Flores drone transition was amazing

After playing this game for about 2 years I pretty much know all this stuff but I still end up watching your videos for some reason.

The comment about roaming on chalet just made me think of some cav rounds I've played on that where I literally just kept poking people in the back and booking it between the stair cases. I really dunno why they let me do it but winning 1v4 just cuz they spent all their time playing whack a mole was pretty funny.

Idk about elas worst map being club house, she’s really good on both of the good sites church and cash. I think her worst map would be Villa because you rarely have a chance to swing after they hit the mine.

As a Kapkan main I totally agree villa is his best map

Im late but this is still good info for knowing which operator abilities are useful on which map (assuming they haven’t received a change)

I like the fact that my favorite op and map line up

I love emerald plains because I learned it really good when the event happened

Smoke is great on cocktail, the stairs next to heaven can easily be held with his ballistic shield at the back of the hallway. If I see someone coming up the stairs I will usually throw smoke to deny access to bombsite and then drop down on them paired with a pre-fire. I am very low ranked so this strat probably isn't consistent at all.

feel like outback is by far the best kapkan map, so many doors and places to play with him, every time i get outback on defense someone gets a kapkan kill or hit

in my opinion, kapkans best map is clubhouse. there are a lot of doors that are hard to get the trap on because you have to put yourself in an awkward position or vulnerable one to shoot the trap

I think 2 great buffs for Monty would be: 1) Give him the ability to shove nearby enemies. It does no damage and the only effect it has is knocking a person out of "Aim down Sight" and they take a few steps back. This makes Monty more formidable for idiots that rush him while he has teammates nearby. It also keeps the attackers from running at Monty without back up. 2) Allow Monty to have no cooldown on his ping 2.0. This lets him be effectively an Intel Operator as well as Entry denier.

As a Kap main, I think the only good Coastline site to run Maxim is the kitchen site, since it's got 4 ways to enter, two of which the EDDs are harder to see, those ones being the bathroom, and service entrance.

Jaeger’s ADS set up on villa main stairs puts border over villa as Jaegers worst map. Most ADS placements on border can be shot pretty easily from another angle so it’s hard to keep those up

Monty on kafe is still good and far from his worst map since he can walk in most places and either push people out of cover like bakery or make them uncomfortable to be there.

You could use thermite on the balcony on coastline if there pent house

i run frost on bank downstairs !!! some of the traps actually kinda go crazy

Hey @Poxonlox and others, I turned this into a spreadsheet to get to the info easier!

Alibi on Bank works well, at least Basement bomb. I've held server room from 3 man pushes, usually fooling, or Making them jump at the round the corner clone but prone me.

Frost is actually pretty good on bank. Traps on top of stairs works great on this map.

For thorn I run her on consulate I always place one outside the window balcony on upstairs A and that usually gets me 1 or 2 kills What you are saying for thermite I do for ting hard breach and I have gotten an ace with it before hardbreach the two top corners

For Kali, I believe another good map is consulate. Got my first Ace there recently

Yeah when you said kanal for mute I was like "Huh? Nothing but corridors and narrow doors and 2 bridges to connect them and few open areas The Intel denial is rampant" I probably woulda picked villa just because there's so many ways around jammers on that map. The more of a playstyle counter line made more sense though

Mute is just super good on every map tbh, but with kanal there's a lot of windows and entrance into the building from around the site. Mute kanal is still OP, mutes just one of the best defenders which makes it hard 😅

i generally favor a maverick ban over a thatcher ban, mainly because i'm up to bandit tricking/kaid tricking/mute tricking. mav is annoying to deal with holding main walls. i know most people prefer to not play the wall, and most ppl don't want to play kali. gold/plat

Teams are too efficiently at stopping bandit tricks these days. It's not worth the risk. Bandit needs a buff of some sort for sure

Fuze on kanal you can cluster charge well if defending basement due to soft floor

Pulse on origin is very good for playing upstairs because He can control mastet bedroom from below

Azami on Chalet in basement is pretty fcking good. You can basically use her gadget kinda like when Goyo had his shields, one in blue, two in back wine, on the rotation etc. But I agree on Clubhouse and Kafe is her best maps.

buck also seems really good on emerald plains right now, give him a shot

Just don't pick the bad spawn on kanal and you're good, other two are fine

Smoke is awesome but I think Aruni is personally the best Defender in the game. Pulse is good for holding upstairs from below and denying breach of either tower wall or main. Consulate and Kanal are like 75% of my spawn peek deaths lol! Super happy you gave Kapkan lovebut I really wish you gave Tachanka more love! He's amazing! Smoke is great but Tachanka can use his utility almost as much as he wants. If anything I'd say he makes a fantastic compliment to Smoke! I agree about Bandit. He hasn't aged well. Bandit tri king is basically dead and kaid is better. What would you like to see done with Cav to make her better at higher MMR? Perhaps a speed boost during shadowstep? Her SMG getting a buff? Oryx is best on bank imo. Bank is too small for those flanks in my experience. Azami and Thunderbird are my go to flex picks when I don't have a specific strategy. They're both so good and clutch! Very hard to do anything about them!

Oryx is also amazing on villa I always pop off with im on this map

I play Clash more often than I should (I can already feel the hate towards me lol) and I have to say she is a BEAST on border. Blocking out the outside wall in tellers is very simple as well as the window in the downstairs office. And if there’s a sweaty Ash trying to rush you, backing up where your teammates can shoot them is very easy. Of course I recommend you have a mic to communicate and if not, ping who you’re zapping

Consulate is the best for spawn peeking until someone decides to pre fire the window 😂

The pulse I disagree with on Oregon you can run shotgun and kill people by jumping out small tower and big tower while they are droning off rappelling and you can hold armory and shotgun though walls if they dont drone well

yo i think if u do like set map grapisc and operators that are best on this map it s gonna help alot players to pick when they don t know what they wan t to pick

i prefer using zero on upstairs oregon. I clear games wall from below then get attic with his hard breach or a hard breacher, then place his cams around site (ideally at the same time someone pushes up white but often not happening) because once me and whoever was in attic with me get attic control, kids usually gets reinforced off. Then ill try to place my remaining cams anywhere i can to ensure games control for a plant and hold an angle from attic for anyone coming from white stairs, kids, or behind bunk. Usually works as a 3 stack strat in low gold, with the other two being a combination of hard breachers (prob therm and ace). Really this was just designed to work around the fact that those last two guys never have mics and are instantly picking twitch and finka every round, and they tend to push up armory stairs. damn i wrote a paragraph lol all this to not even be good.

Mira on the reworked Chalet is just the best Operator and Map combo in the entire Game. Its a nightmare to deal with a decent Mira on Chalet.. thats why shes 99% banned on that map in my game xd

5:01 surprised at how you could say rook is a bad pick in general since no one below like gold 1 is clicking heads 24/7

Mira can make the fire place and library object very viable

i have to disagree but agree with lesion on oregon, whenever i play kitchen meeting lesion is such a strong player for that sight. he’s not bad either if you want to roam control or even just roam in general. now that being said maybe a kap or a ela would be better for over all but on that sight and maybe kitchen dining (if you decide to do that) he’s so much more strong then people think he is

With friends we decided to play on eme as much as possible when it has come out and I think that its mirra's best map

I find blitz easiest on consulate, there’s so few angles, compared to Oregon where there’s 50 punch holes and you get shot in the side of the head all the time and all the util is on site so your smokes get ruined one way or another

Quick tip for my fellow Doki mains. When you call, as soon as the bar finishes and you get the points you can put your phone away and cancel the long animation

im since 2 years chillin around in copper, and here it isnt rare that some teams are just way too lost to vote at all

Kapkan is one of the most clutch operators on coastline ngl

Personally, I think bank is cavs bet map cause it’s big has three floors and three stair cases to flank

Nook on kanal is crazy good, you turn your ability on and sneak on both main stairs noone expects you
