Stop it . JJ McCarthy in a whopping 15 games, had only 4 turnovers all season. In 13 of those games, he had zero interceptions . He was Rose Bowl MVP. He won the Big10 title and the National Championship. The guy had a higher passing completion percentage than the LSU QB that won the Heisman. He is the best and most complete QB in the nation.

I love I hit 1:47 and I'm like, "Ok, he hasn't done anything yet" but the score is 16-3 lol.

Honestly he was better than I had heard. Basically he needs to get more experienced and bigger/stronger. His throwing motion seems a touch long duration-wise. On the INT the LB hop-turned his body about 30 degrees away, McCarthy began his throwing motion that instant, then didn’t stop it when the LB instantly turned back to face him and make the INT. I see what McCarthy was thinking, just a bit too confident that he still had the window. Wish he would have stopped the motion, which he has shown he can do. He seems to have seen the LB and was reading him. Seems like a very solid developmental day 2 QB but with michigans’ success he’ll likely get over drafted.

You could not be more wrong. JJ McCarthy is the best and most complete QB in the nation and NFL draft. He will be a 1st round NFL draft pick and was 27-1 as a starter, the highest winning percentage at any top level in college football going back more than a half century , for cripe's sake. The guy is the most intelligent, best educated ( prestigious and elite University of Michigan) , most unselfish, most humble, most charismatic, most accurate, and the best leader of any player in the NFL draft. He will be a high 1st round draft pick,deservedly so. In a whopping 15 games, this Wolverine legend only had 4 interceptions all season long including: zero vs #9 PSU, then zero vs undefeated #2 arch rival Ohio State, Zero vs #15 Iowa for the Big Tenchampionship, Zero vs #4 ranked SEC Champion Bama in the Holy Grail Rose Bowl in which he was named MVP, and, oh, zero turnovers vs then undefeated #2 ranked 14-0 Pac league champion, Washington, in which McCarthy led UM to the National Championship. You are a jealous anti Michigan bigot. Class dismissed.

That throw at 5:06 💩💩💩💩 he had so many near interceptions at least 4. Brade. This. One on the sideline. He's super careless because they play with a lead.

JJ didn’t shine his best in this game, but he wasn’t that bad. He still managed to get the team in position to punch it in for a TD, and he converted two critical fourth downs, and he has good fake out moves to boot. He will clean up the mistakes and he knows he has to. Just be sure not to rush the throw too much and you won’t have to worry about throwing behind receivers or QB spies.

He has the quickest release in football and was more accurate in passing completion percentage than the guy who won the Heisman, btw. Barring injury,future NFL star, or at the least expect a very long NFL career like his head coach had. His strong passing arm, superior intelligence, great leadership, and 4.4 blazing speed in the 40 yard dash makes him the best and most complete QB in the NFL draft. He is also the only QB who is NFL ready because he's the only one who ran an NFL style offense. JJ McCarthy is an absolute high 1st round NFL draft pick but should be the 1st pick of the first round. Notice how Maryland's great defense could not sack him. Amazing leader.
