But when dozens of people accuse you of the same thing, that thing is likely true. The man is mentally twisted. @@morganyu812 I’m a Bills fan so I’ve literally watched every single game he’s played in. He gets a lot of tackles on RBs and WRs 5-7 yards down field. That’s… okay. It gives him some good tackling numbers. But he’ll never blow up a run in the backfield or smash a receiver coming across the middle and knock the ball out. He’s just kinda soft for a big guy. And in pass coverage, he’s pretty fast and has long arms so he looks intimidating to throw around. Young and/or bad quarterbacks are always weary to try and complete passes around him. But to actually good quarterbacks (the guys you’ll meet in the playoffs), they just throw around him easy peasy. His specialty in pass coverage is that he makes himself look like he’s in better position than he actually is. Good QBs see straight through it and Edmunds isn’t aggressive when the ball is in the air either. A well placed ball will get completed on him 100% of the time. He also sucks at blitzing. I know middle linebackers aren’t really supposed to blitz, but it’s nice to have one that can (i.e. Ray Lewis or Bobby Wagner). Edmunds just makes no splash plays at all. If you need a strong tackle on a third down, a forced fumble in the clutch, or a great play on the ball in the air, he’s not gonna be able to do any of that. That’s what Milano does. Matt Milano is a beast and there’s a reason Buffalo chose to keep him and not Edmunds.

  • @morganyu812

@@sprawlz6466 Dude you had me engaged in the first half. The second half you lost me. Im really glad you gave a detailed breakdown tho because most people would have said Tremaine Edmunds just sucks because. However I don't agree with you on your assessment that he's doesn't blow up runs because he clearly does a lot. He's not as dominant as a run defender as people like Nick Bolton, Dre Greenlaw, or Fred Warner but hes definitely one of the top players in the league at blowing up run plays because he's way to fast for lineman to pick up block on him. And when he is caught in a block he has more than enough strength and arm length to shed. It's almost like you're implying that Tremaine Edmunds is mostly a "clean up" players because his tackles or misleading. And to that is heavily disagree. But even if I were to say that is true. This rarely if ever misses tackles. So as a clean up player this would be one of best skillets to have as defensive player no matter the position. Also you talked about his coverage skills. And I don't know about you but if you watched last year very throughly last year, Unless you're mentioning Fred Warner or Germaine Pratt... Tremaine Edmunds is probably one of the third best coverage linebacker in the league. If we're going on his last two years. According to Pff he's one of the highest graded coverage linebackers. And if you're not a fan of pff... Tremaine Edmunds has the second most pass deflections in the league last year for linebackers behind Germaine Pratt. He's a lot more nuanced then just waving his hands around.

With Justin Jefferson he is usually double teamed when the vikings get to the red zone so they tend to dump it off to the tight end, running back or they would go to adam thielen or k.j. osbourn. Osbourn is the wide receiver 2 now and will be replacing thielen in that role. He was used a lot towards the end of last season to score tds. Jefferson gets us down the field and one of the other 4 or 5 targets gets the td. There is nothing wrong with that.

hey barry. as a bills fan, i am very depressed. so, in my free time, I used josh allen's pre-bye week statistics and projected a season total based off of them, and i was pleasantly surprised. on the surface, his td numbers might not up to par with 07' brady or 13' manning, but his pure yardage stood out. also, i found that he would have contributed to more than 80% of his teams total tds and yards, which is historic. from my research, only 13' manning and '15 cam were close to his td %, but no one was close to his yards in any of the major categories. after seeing this, i formulated a spreadsheet comparing some of the greatest qb seasons ever, including 13' manning, 07' brady, '11 rodgers, 84' marino, etc. and i would love if you could at least take a look at it so i can see your perspective or even make a video about it. josh allen has been under fire from the media lately due to his shit postseason, so i think it is a very relevant topic.

We’re gonna forget about “that” call- the Eagles were clearly the better team on the field last SB. NO I’m not a fan/hater of either team like so many people love to say when commenting. I love the sport and calls ‘em like I sees ‘em. That Eagles offsensive line is world-class; the main reason for all their success on that side of the ball. Not taking anything away from Brown & Hurts. Their defense was almost just as stacked, and if it weren’t for that field, one call at the end of the game wouldn’t’ve mattered. I’ve seen some great analyses suggesting the slippery field hurt the Eagles more than the Chiefs. I won’t break it down but it makes sense. Even if you don’t buy into that, Philly certainly looked like the better team. In spite of the massive roster turnover, I can see Philly easily making it back again this season in a weak NFC.

They only won 1 game during that stretch because their defense was historically bad. No defense allowed more points per game than the bears. Sure, Fields isn't a prolific passer, but what he does with his legs is insanely effective. Compare this to Zach wilson who was only putting up 18.5 ppg, but the team went 5-4 because their defense is so much better. Put Fields on the Jets and the Jets won't lose often
