Each of her spins are different poses during the spins, except only that the very last one is a Biellmann spin, but it's gorgeous, like a flower blooming with little blurring! And the Biellmann spin with one hand instead of two was first introduced in competition by Mao!!

She has the best layback and biellmann spin 😢❤❤❤

鳥籠みたいな美しいビールマンスピンは女子選手の華ですね

こうして見てみるとかなり試行錯誤して努力されているのが分かりますね。バンクーバーまでのシーズンでは元々 ・サイドからバックへの姿勢変更 ・アップライトレイバック(ヘアカッター) ・アップライトビールマン(ビールマン) のレベル３構成(ラベンダーの時は足を引きよるポジションで4を狙っていたかも)で、バンクーバーシーズンではバックポジションで8回転してレベル４を獲得してますね。 その後もヘアカッターやビールマンで8回転したり後のシーズンではウィンドミルを入れたりしてます。 個人的には２回目のノクターンの時(バックで8回転)が一番好きですね！

私も2回目のノクターンのが好きです！ それまで長いことビールマンで8回転してたのやめてほしいなと思ってました… ソチシーズンから回転速度も増したように見えます！努力家ですね。。

最後は旧採点制なので技術スコアがありません！ 若い頃の片手スピンは、その時に珍しいスピンでした。

I love Mao's skating and musicality. BUT! She does not point her free foot on these spins and thus the leg looks clunky and heavy. It should be turned out, horizontal to the ice.

How was she getting level 2 or level 1 on some of the earlier spins? The rules for spins are weird.

Because the thigh of the free leg is supposed to be in line with the hip and parallel to the ice, and hers was not even close to the desired position.

She missed level 4 on her layback spins a lot than I expected

Oh good - it improved, because in the beginning of the video I was wondering why we were looking at it, because it wasn’t great.
