@@dorcasmalahlela2805I feel it's lighter if your coming from a membrane, and it's a bit heavy if your used to mechanical keyboards, especially something like cherry mx reds, gat reds, or any other switch commonly found in stock keyboards. I do recommend these for the price. In my country, these things are $0.27 a piece, and even cheaper getting the boxes. the weight is 58g for actuation force, which I think is best for me, because I find gat yellows too light. Coming from a membrane, I think this isn't for you, because it may be too light, and will affect your typing speed or gaming performance. The actuation force really depends on the user, cuz my friends and parents find it too light, because most of them come from membranes. So in conclusion, yes I recommend this if it's not your first time you tried mechanical keyboards, but if you're from membrane, do consider something else. And for this I recommend jwick ultimate blacks with the 63.5g spring, because it's a similar feel, just linear, and as soon as you get used to it you can try basically any other switch no problem, unless it's heavier. I think it needs a mid press, because this is my 2nd custom I've built now. Good luck, and I hope this helps :D

The Keebroll cuts are so useful for judging the switches, wish more reviewers did that! Thanks for doing this extensive showcase of the Akko switches. Just commenting that for the interference section, you could have presented the data in a table (YES/NO interference as the column headers and the switch name/pictures underneath, pole length and other data optional) instead of just showing them on camera and relying on subtitles, since it makes it much more easier to understand at a glance.

hi! thank you. happy to be able to do such video. 🙇♀️ I’ll make sure to improve on that area. thank you for the inputs 😀
The cream blues are my favorite tactiles from Akko. This is the only P shaped (early bump) tactile bump from them afaik & they have a clacky sound (high pitch, but not poppy like the crystal blues). I would however swap the springs to a lighter 22mm spring for a snappier feel. At only ~$5.5 from Taobao they are AMAZING value.

Wow, those were a lot of switches to cover and lube. Thank you so much, wish we could see more love and detailed coverage like this one for Akko switches on KZread. You got yourself a sub. The only Akko switches I've owned are Jelly Blacks (hand lubed) and Lavenders (pre lubed). I like both linears and tactiles a lot and was looking for something as creamy as my lubed Jblacks(they're amazing on my Keychron v1), but a little bit lighter and easier to press. From all your replies seems like V3 cream yellows would be the answer, but they're out of stock at my local Akko vendor (can't buy directly from Akko because of customs issues). Trying to decide between the CS airs and the v3 Cream Blues. I don't really mind tactile, but I doubt I'll find an experience better than the lavenders. Maybe if I lube the CBs heavily enough. Idk, ranting now! Anyway, excellent video and thanks.

Akko switches (aside from the pre-lubed variants) are not factory lubed aside from the dry lube that’s on the leaf which is not thick enough to potentially cause overlubing, you can basically treat them as bone dry switches and just lube them conventionally.

if you don’t plan on lubing the pom silvers and want to use them for a prolonged period of time til they get smoother themselves, id say its worth it. also as both silver are on the same price point. its only a matter of wether you want it smoother/creamier or you want the crystal body for better rgb. for the nk creams, i cant really comment on it as i havent tried it

Hi, for Akko Switch which one that recommended for Gaming, base on response time but linier, i test G silver (wasd) but still got latency, the base switch is red (like for typing sound), So far for Blue the fastest response, but too loud, it seem Akko look better in sound and response

aside from tape mod, you might consider getting a quality material keycaps. it doesn’t have to be an expensive one, just quality 😉

Hi! Which akko switch would you recommand stock? Im kinda new to this hobby and too lazy to lube haha

i’d say the crystals are a must lube. the v3 line, snow blue grey and cs air are fine stock. though definitely better when lubed. the pom line are scratchy ootb but pom materials tend to smoothen out over time with prolonged usage.

@@mczstudio I think ima go with the cream yellow v3 stock. They sound so creamy!
Can someone help me? I currently have cs silver and planning to get the cs crystal silver, what are the main difference? I am aiming more on gaming side and thockier sound profile would be a bonus, appreciate it! Thanks!

from what I know the cs crystal silver is meant to be poppier than the cs silver because of the materials used . and for better rgb

@@andreassuwardi5870 crystal silver is technically lighter by abit. for me i cant really tell. i would go with the pom. i like the sound profile of it than the crystal silver which is higher in pitch.

@@chihao6351 i love how cs air sound abit deeper than the yellow. but its not as creamy as the yellow. sound wise i go with cs air. feel wise i go with cream yellow. now it all falls down on which you prefer more :D

Hello!! I've been looking through weather to buy cream blue or cream yellow, and ive been debating on myself for a while. I like switches with a not so clicky touch but also thocks nicely, with a speck of crunch to it. I may use if for studying, and gaming for both. I like the feeling of clicking something, like for example a light switch. Which one do you recommend for me?

hey. seems like what you want is both linear and tactile at the same time. 😅 and it sounds alot like cs lavender or the akko pom brown. tactile but not so heavy and still fairly light. for the lubed part, you might take a look at the pom brown. its not lubed, abit scratchy ootb, but pom material tends to smoothen out with prolonged usaged overtime if you’d really want to get either the creams. i suggest you get 1 box of both. put on your board, one set for the alphas and modifiers, and other set is on the lesser use keys (aka f row num rows) that way you can check which among the two you prefer most! ~hope this helps in any way

@@mczstudio Thank you! I have been taking interest in the lavender and brown aswell, and this helps alot. I am looking to buy an rk68, and im not quite sure if it will sound simillar to your board, since it is modded. may i ask, would the matcha latte kiiBOOM switches sound decently similar to my rk68? I've been taking a big interest in the matcha latte one answell, and i cant seem to choose which. But ofcourse, its hard to decide which switch would be the best choice. This would be my very first keyboard, and i want to find the most preferable choice.
