I think they were going the route of it being something only we can see. It straight up appears on a sign in the background when it cuts away for just a second in "All That Glitters".

I would give my soul for a season 4 of Kipo or something like a spin off but the series it having a limited run was kinda nice because most shows that are stretched out these days end up falling off hard at certain points in the story. Kipo had this 3 act narrative and it worked so well each episode was fun to watch and at no point did the series get boring for me which is a real rare case for myself !
