Yo! Keep killing it with this videos 🔥. I am a Applied Statistics/Data Science graduate student myself here in California and im so glad I came across this channel. How did you learn to program? Is data camp really a powerful resource tool to use to improve your skills as a programmer for self studying?

Thanks mate, definitely got a bunch more coming! In short I had 0 idea on programming and did a Datacamp course for SQL and one for python then did a master's. Datacamp CAN be an excellent tool but has a lot of flaws (I used it terribly looking back), so I will have videos on how to use it well! But if you need answers asap just ask the questions here and I'll reply :)

Thanks for sharing your experience! I work as a Data Analyst and learned Python for data analysis, but in my company there's no use of this, we use Qlik Sense for visualization and data sources are pretty clean, so there's no data-cleaning as well. Do you have an idea in which I can apply Python? Cheers from Argentina

I wish I was social sometimes so I could ace doing youtuber stuff but other times I'm glad I'm an introvert so I can pivot quicker

Which data science master's program did you do? And why do you think someone would rather do a dissertation than an internship? I've done the CalTech DS bootcamp, some other stuff on udemy, and a personal project but I'm wanting to learn more. I love these videos and currently binging them to keep me motivated as I do more projects haha. Subbed!

Thank you man, I did an MSc at the University Of Liverpool. I think some opt for the dissertation to get into the working world straight away but a paid internship is pretty much the same thing

Hi - if you failed Maths at GCSE and have not done it since - I have a (non STEM) degree - and have limited experience in my current role as a data analyst. I eventually want to become a Data Scientist - will lack of maths at GCSE inhibit me?

If you're already a data analyst you're in a great position to make the switch. You would probably need to brush up on your maths and have a good portfolio of data science projects. Also you're older now so it will probably be easier for you to learn maths!

How viable is it for international students to go the Industrial placement route?

Hey mate, cool vid. I have a first class Bachelors in mechanical engineering and I am doing a boot camp where you can go into a specialisation in data science, which you go through most of the basic stuff but it is all high level code I.e. code using lots of libraries. In your opinion, is it possible to get into DS without a masters in it? If it is, do you think that I would be limited in how far I can go up the corporate ladder of DS? Thank you for your time
