  I think data camp is for me, I have a strong understanding in python and sql, just need to data engineering on it, and practice practice, as a student its only £11 a month as well

  How on earth did you make the code that analyzed 1500 jobs to get that info!? I obviously know scraping was involved like puppeteer, playwright, selenium, or maybe if the sites had an API you could use. More info on how to make a code like that would be great!

  Congrats, man ... glad you're settling in well in your new role! Yes, a video on being a fullstack data scientist would be awesome. I think knowing not just how to build a model but also how to properly deploy it is going to become an essential skill for data jobs.

  One thing my software engineering degree and internship has taught me is keep learning new skill or youare absolute in few years. No wonder people prefer CS or Engineering degree for data jobs.

  Hi Nash, very informative thanks. I do have some doubts about this idea of being a full-stack something. These days were are repeatedly encouraged to specialise and go deep in one skill, rather than learn a bit of many things. So are you saying it is better to learn something about many aspects of data, rather than focusing on one specialism?

  Hey DataNyash I’m from Kenya! 5 months into Datascience , with an undergraduate in Actuarial Science. I’m also currently pursuing a Masters in Financial Engineering because I want to specialize in Business and Finance as a Data scientist . Would you say my Masters is valid in the Data science world ?   I would suggest taking a course in statistics before any of this. If you find that you hate it, or can't hack, data-science is not for you. It's a quick way to learn some basics that could be valuable even if you don't pursue a career.

  R is generally more academically centric (more often used by universities, some governmental institutions, and traditional businesses depending on what part of the world you are in, e.g., NZ, Australia, USA). Python would cover all the rest in general.. 😄
