EVERY GOLFER Can DROP 5 SHOTS using Jon Rahm's 10 INCH SET UP TWEAK!
Спорт
I NEVER want you to ADDRESS behind the golf ball again!! In order to do this you need to make a slight tweak with your set up which is super easy and simple to do with the golf club. This is something that Jon Rahm does and it works MIRACLES! Jon Rahm said addressing 2 club heads behind the golf ball makes the golf ball so much easier to hit.
This makes you hit the golf ball longer, hit the golf ball straighter, hit the golf ball on the up and learn how to hit more fairways. You will improve your club path and gain more distance with driver. We need to square the club face, square the club face with driver, square the club face to strike the golf ball so much better.
This 10 inch tweak in so simple and easy to use no matter your age or ability!
EVERY GOLFER needs to use this set up, there are so many benefits!! This will make transition effortless golf swing power and consistency Like Jon Rahm gets. I know this will sound crazy but i never start with the golf club behind the golf ball when i have the driver in my hand! This way i can increase my club head speed, hit the golf ball much longer and straighter. Its worth knowing that this simple golf swing driver tip will allow you to hit the golf ball longer and straighter no matter age or ability!
Alex Elliott Golf shows you the best way top hit your driver longer and straighter and this is the exact release i never start with the club behind the golf ball! you will STOP that over the top move and learn to get the club into the slot hitting from the inside

This definitely works! Went from hitting 210-220 fades to 240-250 straight consistently and staying on the fairway giving myself chances for birdies lol! Went from shooting avg 45-50 to 40-45 per 9 holes just because of this one change with my driver. Thanks for sharing!!!

Been using this driver 8-12 inches behind off and on after following Moe Norman, mixed results at times, but have figured out as you said the setup is key to make this payoff, it does work
Will give this a go next time out, any tips are greatly appreciated, Alex. Keep them coming 👏
i had never heard or thought of this...i'm a 4 handicap so usually put my drives in the short grass but i love working on swing plane and grip changes to affect my ball flight. This does makes sense, I will definitely give it a try at the range.
Great video! Used this set up today and had complete control over my driver every hole I used it on!
Alex I’ve been watching your videos…very informative…since getting back to swinging my golf clubs after not playing for 5 months due to Rotator Cuff surgery…I tried this and it works…thanks to you for putting out very good videos on the golf swing…I would never have tried this if not for this video…now only if I can figure out how to align myself properly…oh well one thing at a time…
I tried this after a terrible year of driving poor shots off the tee. Most satisfied with over all results off tees & off the fairways with my woods. So simple yet so effective. Thanks.
Alex Elliott is the GOAT of golf instruction. I've played this game for 25+ years and his tips have helped my game immensely. There's nobody who breaks down the swing while also relating to the common tendency of the recreational golfer and building that into his instruction better. Always impressed. Thank you so much Alex!
I grew up in Toronto where Mo Norman spent a lot of time. He would often do clinics and demos at local driving ranges. He addressed most of his shots the same way , regardless of club. The amazing thing that stood out was how straight his ball flight was. At one time I belonged to a club where one of the female pros played a lot of golf with Mo in Florida. He showed her how to hit knock down short iron shots into greens. In those days I would have put money down on her against any pro you can name in hitting 80 yard shots into tucked pins. She got that from Mo.

I believe the loss of Mo Norman to professional golf due to bullying by certain "Pro" golfers because he completely outperformed them is a blot on the sport. Yes he had personal issues but he battled and became possibly the most consistent ball striker ever seen he was that good. If he had continued on tour the way golf is played and taught today would be very different. It must have been an privilege and experience to watch that man.

I've been doing this lately and it has dramatically improved my strike. Didn't know rahm was doing it, but I did take a page from Mo's video (on a whim). Helps me go back on a straight line for longer I think.
I've actually changed my swing years ago because of where the lowest point is during the driver swing. I've been looking about the same distance back from the ball as in your video and it definitely works. Rahm is my favorite on tour, so it's pretty cool to know that this is what he does as well. Great video. +sub
Thank you! Drove every ball like this my last 2 rounds and what a difference. Ridiculous tip and simple.
Thank you, I love how you showed a visual of the club traveling. Nice instructional video. God bless
I did this at the range yesterday after taking two months off from playing. Kept hitting the grass behind the ball when I addressed directly behind the ball but when I addressed a ball or two behind the tee, longer and straight. Thank you for this can’t wait to try on course!

I have a bad slice and started addressing the ball about 4-6 inches behind which helped me square up, not only did I reduce my slicing but I started to hit fades on command. I previously had issues turning my wrist but combined with this new set up I have way more control over the ball.
I started doing this about 4 weeks now and added 30 plus yards to my drive. This is an amazing hack!!! I’m carrying it over 285 yards off the tee consistently.
Can’t wait to try it. Thanks so much! 👍😎
I tried the you’re recommended driver set up 4-5” behind the teed ball today on the course and combined it with your other video on closing the driver club face slightly and following the in to out swing plane. Looking for a draw but honestly I hit five terrific drives dead center fairway! Thanks Alex. Spot on instruction!
THIS WORKS! I have been battling an inconsistent swing, I moved it back two heads distance and my drives straigtened up, and my consistency improved. Still working on that sweet spot of ball position, but I am a boat load closer to that now. Thaks Alex this was a great tip!
Cheers for this Alex. I’m really getting on well with your tips atm. This one especially has finally given me the feeling of consistency with driver. Thanks 😊

It took literally a day or two to implement this. My launch monitor is showing minimum 1500 less backspin (I’m normally around 3500-4000 on my driver), and it’s also letting the ball carry and roll out around 30-40 yards more. Absolutely loving this, thankyou!!

This video caught my eye because I have been doing exactly this (although not 10” but around 6”) and it has changed the consistency and distance of my drives. I had been swinging down on the ball too much and therefore my drives were inconsistent, probably 50% of my drives were off the mark. The last three rounds I played my drives were 90% on the fairway and the distance obviously better because I was on the fairway with resulting roll (instead of in with the snakes and man eaters..). Now I just have to figure out why my bunker shots went to hell and my putting was off. The quest never ends. Thanks for the video Alex, well done.
Thank you for a useful tip. I will give it a try.

I have been doing this for 2 years now, just only 1 club head back, and it fundamentally changed my drives for the better. I think what it does is basically keep you behind the ball and promote hitting up on the ball by changing where your low point is going to be. I think the key is to figure out just how far back you need to go. For me, I had to open my stance a bit and go with a stronger grip, but I like that feeling anyway. It is absolutely one of the best tips I ever got, but I had no idea JR did it or that you even did it :)

Thanks for sharing this tip. I saw the tip on Friday and applied it during our team trip over the weekend. It works great for me. I had no slice all weekend. I tend to play slice and to fight it, I use a stronger grip. Now, with your Tip, the stronger grip caused a, mild hook but very manageable. I will need to adjust a bit more, to make it more straight/Draw biased. However, I was more confident on the tee therefore I applied more speed to my swing, producing a lot more distance outdriving some team mates I could not outdrive for a good while unless I would break my back to achieve this. I highly recommend, that you try this tip.

Started doing this a few months ago, after watching Marcus Edblad, he talks about the low point of the swing being much further behind the ball. He’s a left hander but the same principle applies.
Good lesson. Thanks

That's one of the final mysteries that you have to solve to be a near scratch player...how to have a great wedge swing(s) while still having a good driver swing. i'll give you a little tip that I think Gene Saranzan said about irons in general but really apply to wedges: You aren't standing too close to the ball unless it's behind you. In other words your iron/especially wedge play (other than some modified pitch shots that you want to really sweep so you use a real insideout swing on) should be really straight up and straight down...if your swing is almost perfect it will tend to go to the left a little, then you just open the clubface a touch and you have a perfect wedge swing.

I saw this on KZread many years ago. I've been using it ever since. It really does work because you stay square to set-up line. Give it a try.
Great tip & it works really well for me. Like to see a video using hybrid & irons as well
I sometimes use the same trick in addition to teeing up higher, tee peg planted roughly an inch further forward in my stance. Just in case I need a very high apex / trajectory, i.e. not often to be honest. Will try anytime now with the driver or 3-wood, not necessarily teeing higher.
This is something I got to try. Thanks again for your advice

I started doing this last summer when I was struggling to get enough club rotation. Instantly started hitting straighter.
Yeah this is something I def recommend on the slightly lesser extent everyone will feel a little bit more comfortable at different distances. I'm about a fist behind it and it absolutely helps me from not contorting my body to set up behind the ball which would cause bad strikes flights. Keep up the useful vids.

Great suggestion!
That’s the first thing I thought was moe Norman although he was like a couple feet back but he was essentially hitting the ball flat footed on a single plane. Another drill you can do that has nothing to do with attack angle but really helped me when I was first learning how to work the golf ball I would put 2 balls down in front of me and I would address the furthest golf ball and hit the inside ball to learn how to hit a draw and address the inside ball and hit the outside ball for a cut. If you are a baseball player transitioning to golf you probably have little problem hitting up on the ball but most get in trouble with there irons not realizing it’s a completely different swings
i have done that for the he last 5 months or so alex and i hit driver decently since the change, just need to solve my extension now
