My Pastor says if people are comfortable enough to gossip (or do anything negative) around you then you are part of the problem. I really like the last point. You can do all the first 4 points but if you're not impactful enough to shift your environment then perhaps it's time for an introspection. Thank you for this 🌹

I think you should look up Corrie Ten Boom. She's another example of a Godly lady. She hid jews and wrote a book on it called the hiding place.

Hi Karoylne Very edifying video. The Lord has really been teaching me biblical womanhood and what it really means to be a woman. Growing up, I never knew how to embrace my identity in being a woman, struggled with it for a long time and was molded and shaped by worldly ideas/perspectives. AMEN! And for us married women I would add to the list. The heart of her husband trusts in her because she does him good and not harm all the days of her life. In prov 31, the very first thing that is spoken of her is that her husband trusts her. Which means we need to be doing good for our husband and not harm :) good is a relative word though. It's not our version of good, it's his version of good. what's good to your husband may not be good to my husband. it's laying down our preferences in response to his. it's coming around him to protect and nurture him! I have always felt so bad for having trait #5. I have tried to get rid of it for years because I didn’t like how sinners stopped sinning when I came around 😂 I felt insensitive, they called me “a cop” 😭. You explaining it as a positive is so encouraging. Thank you my sister. Good bless you.

As I am drawing closer to God. He is showing me to be a more godly person. And this morning I was wondering what that would precisely entail. I searched on youtube and the first video was yours. Undoubtedly, your intended audience is women, but just a remark: it's good for men to hear these sorts of things too. It never ceases to amaze me that people don't address that Proverbs 31 is actually written for men: it's written from a mother to her son. She blesses her son by painting a vivid picture of what a godly woman is like -- apart from whether or not he actually has one -- along with "she does him good, not harm, all the days of her life." Like, whether the man actually experiences such thing or not, he's infused with a healthy sense of standards of how a woman should be, including towards him (though showing grace for her if/when she falls short). As I see women talk about this to each other, I think that's great. But isn't it interesting that no one intentionally preaches messages like this to men so that they have standards for a woman exactly like Proverbs 31 explicitly intends?

You've raised SUCH a great and true point. It was written for men / a son, not for the daughters of the Lord (even though we can & do benefit from it). MEN need to be taught it, too!

Unfortunately, virtually nothing in Christian media tends to make a point of infusing standards to a man (it's some seriously half-hearted material at best, if it ever exists). Indeed we should be seeing more such material in general. The best ministry a man can get to this end is looking in on women's ministries that happen to be more exposed. Blessings.

Confidence in who you are in the Lord by necessity should remove confidence in who you are apart from him. Too many professing Christian women lack humility and are very prideful when things get difficult. Immediately accusing the husband of not being Christlike while diverting and dismissing their own sin. A humble woman is humble when things get difficult because she is putting all her trust in the Lord. It’s not a switch you can turn on and off. Either you got it or you don’t. Women please hold each-other accountable in this regard because you are not listening to the men. Men hold each-other accountable much more than women. Please don’t start with the “what about men” deflection. Let what i said sting a bit and examine yourself. If your not saying Amen you should be saying ouch! I love our women but this needs to stop already.
