What happened to the Terriers? Mounie and Depoitre looked like Behemoths, Schindler orchestrating the back, Mooy pulling the strings; bringing in a player of Kongolo's quality? Was it a complete loss of confidence? Did something happen behind the scenes?

recruitment in the summer that year was incredibly poor to say it was their chance to really kick on and cement themselves into the premier league. problems in the squad weren’t fixed. a lot of players e.g hamer, hadergonaj weren’t good enough but wagner constantly chose them. wagner’s tactics weren’t good in the second season. played 3 DM’s against Cardiff at home which was their first proper chance to get 3 points and kept playing 5 at the back even though it didn’t work and none of his best players fit in it. brought in a PE teacher to replace him. he didn’t have a clue either. didn’t help they faced chelsea and manchester city in the first 2 games. as the year went on, some players didn’t want to be there. was just an overall mess. now they’re straight back to where they used to be. struggling. you’d of thought both quality wise and money wise that those 2 years in the premier league would’ve set the club up for a long time.

Poor recruitment and bad decisions at board level mainly. Throw in a change of playing style, lack of confidence and a new inexperienced manager and it quickly went pete tong for us unfortunately. Took us over 18 months to get the hang over of the premier league. Things are starting to look up now though👍

Laurent Depoitre was a good signing how many other good players have you got left.. I came here to see if Alex Pritchard is any good. I know he had a cyst behind his knee .. We need some good players to play with McGeady and Luke Onien
