*NOTES* Thank you for being patient, I had a series of flu viruses throughout January/February and it really sucked my energy out on top of my usual father and husband responsibilities. I think that the walkers in the church made perfect sense, early walking dead clearly showed the walkers retaining some things from their life engraved in them, like the little girl still holding her doll, and Morgan's wife trying to open the door to their house.

I felt like the people in the church committed suicide or something. Probably through poisoned communion wine. That was always my headcanon

Honestly, the walkers in the jail cell paints a horrifying picture of prisoners being trapped in their cells at the start of the apocalypse, being unable to escape and eventually starving to death and then turning. Absolutely horrific

I'm loving these videos. Just a quick correction: Patricia was not Hershel's wife, she was Otis' wife. Hershel's wife was the zombie family member in the barn that you mentioned, you can see Hershel super distressed when Daryl shotgun blasts her face into oblivion in the barn scene.

Considering the irony that originally,he was suppose to be a serial killer and he was going to be one to kill Beth,i'd say that's a major step up .

Something not many people realize: Meeshowne was under the impression that Penny was alive and the Governor was holding her there. She only saw them through the window after Penny had the bag over her head again. She also thought the names in his notebook were names of other little girls. That's why she said "I bet that's what you say about all the girls" after the Governor told her he loved Penny. She was fully convinced that the Governor was a child molestor or something. It makes the fact she wanted to leave after that much more understandable, but at the same time... why didn't she just tell Andrea that she saw the Governor shove a little girl in a closet with a bag over her head? Michonne is one of my favorite characters but she was annoyingly difficult in her first few episodes lol.

I hate how Lori is so mad at Rick for killing Shane but she basically told him to when telling Rick what Shane was saying (the baby is his and all that). She literally asked Rick what he was going to do about it.

To be fair, Shane is the man who took care of her and Carl, and tried to save Rick, and then Rick, after a few weeks to months, killed the man that protected them, and one of the only people that Lori knew from before that she knows is still alive. He did become a villain, but Lori did not see most of it.

Dales scene where he sticks up for Randal and tells the group not to kill him is a highlight of season 2 I honestly love his dialogue in every scene he had especially when he and Glenn had the birds and bees talk and how he like you said is a nice balance for the group

@@ConvexSpysJudging by the way he talks about what happened it sounds like he had no problems with it, smiling as if it was supposed to be funny when he told Daryl and Shane. Even if he didn't do it, it's obvious he saw nothing wrong with the fact it happened. Expecting Daryl and Shane to see it as normal. Rick, Shane and the others were completely in their right to want to get rid of Randall for good. Who knows what they would've done if Randall lead his people to the farm.

I love how zombie shane still walks like if he was gonna beat the shit out of you lol.

I think it’s either an alternate or just a proposed ending for the episode with Shane and Rick, where a walker approaches Rick after he stabs Shane and Rick picks up Shane’s gun to shoot it but finds it was empty, showing Shane basically did a suicide by cop. I think it hits a lot harder than the ending we got so I had honestly convinced myself that’s how it ended until I watched you talk about it lol

Darryl’s response to Herschel when the walkers reach the farm is perfect. The vocal shrug is something that happens rarely but it’s always great

There’s a deleted scene for the actual opening to season 2 where the gang goes back to Atlanta for the Hispanic group, however it was infested with walkers. This hits more knowing that people turn when they die without being bit considering they were taking care of Old people. Rick is shown this and shows his darker side saying “the hell with the noise.” And shoots a walker alerting a horde. This also shows Shane barley surviving but carrying a duffel bag of guns and ammo for the group. It’s a shame it’s all cut out.

Did you like (Walter White) ? I think it´s one of the best written shows out there. If you havn´t watch Better call Saul. I had trouble with the first Season but the show grows on you !

You can understand michonnes conflict with the town when you consider that later in the show she reveals that her son and boyfriend were in a secure area that was guarded by the military and that still fell. she feels safer watching her own back rather than put it in a strangers which didn't work out before, even if they were the trained military.

About why none of the Hershel's family saw Sophia in the barn before episode 7 shootout : Sophia died on the same day (/night) she was lost and turned into walker, the next morning Otis found her and brought her to the barn (Hershel said Otis was finding all walkers and bringing them to the barn before he died) and then Otis went hunting and shot Carl when the group was looking for Sophia the same morning That's why only Otis knew about the girl, but Rick and Shane who were all about saving Carl at this moment didn't mention Sophia, so he didn't know she was in their group Patricia was feeding walkers, but we only saw her do that once, we don't know if she did that once a week or everyday (I think once a week is more probable since she fed them with chickens and they didn't have this many chickens to feed them everyday) so she might've missed Sophia and just didn't see her in the barn while feeding walkers

The tweeking to make the deer and Carl dance a jig made my day 😂

I think its worth mentioning that Shane DID tell Otis to take the equipment and go without him.. He tried to sacrifice himself to insure the equipment makes it back to save Carl instead, but Otis refused and only then did Shane leg him to make sure he could get the equipment back.. Don't get me wrong, Shane definitely loses it a bit, but I don't think he was a full on villain. I would have loved it if he could have stayed in the show. Especially concidering Rick essentially just takes two seasons and eventually catches up and turns into Shane himself and then dials it back.

Yeah he would've been so much help against a lot of stuff that they go through, however the fact he goes kinda nuts would've probably led in the wrong directions too by falling out with so many, like I'm sure he wouldn't like Darryl's brother so he then wouldn't get along with Darryl and so one probably making him a villain by default anyway

Btw, Sophia is alive in the comics and She & Carl later marry and have a child. Don't know why they killed her off. In the comics they start off as friends and as the comics go on they go from being Friends, Lovers, then Married and have a Daughter.

As for the actress who played Sophia, she wanted out because she was having nightmares about the walkers. Her brothers played Henry, I believe both age versions of him, and his brother.

Michonne's walkers did lose the will to feed yes, but because they still decayed their stank acted as camouflage for her, hence why she always kept them by her side. It was essentially the same idea as the gut covered trench coats in the first season, just infinite and portable.

Dale only died because his actor was close to frank darabont and wasn’t gonna continue in the show without him

Like you, I too have discovered a song I now love because of Beth; 'Struggling Man'. My issue isn't her singing, she's got a great voice. I explain in my latest TWD video that it's not the singing, it's the fact that it's impromptu singing. Imagine if you just started randomly singing while hanging out with friends, it gives off a vibe of attention seeking and try-hardiness. We have no choice but to hear it instead of the better alternative of either asking if she would like to sing or her asking if she can sing, it's a matter of social awareness. I know I'm way overthinking this but I'm just being honest with what I feel in my gut.

Still tho, the first time she sings shes actually asked to by her father, their first night in the outer yard of the prison. and the other time i just feels like thats who she is, you know? beside the whole suicide arc in S2.. shes a big blue eyes kinda girl with a song in her heart, and i like the contrast from the rest of the shows theme of death, hopelessness and things falling apart. also saw your next vid, and the hospital scene hit me sooo fkn hard whenever i first watched it. so unncessary, and devastating. she really was one of my fav characters, just for being "the groups little sister" as you put it. Yup, when everything happens with Beth they had to go back to Atlanta for it. Why'd they chose to stay in a hospital in an overrun populated city, I have no idea.

This is like a longer, more in depth "Man of Recaps" video, im obviously not saying you copied him, i mean look at the comment i left on your breaking bad video, i loved it haha, but even though this video and man of recaps are almost the same, im enjoying how much more detail your giving each episode wheras man of recaps is more about like what generally happened during each season to help get caught up for a new one, both of you guys are great, please keep doing these.

I have a theory to why carl killed the young soldier. Carl watched Rick kill Shane by pretending to have his gun down and then he proceeded to stab him. Carl was watching the whole thing so I think that he believed that would happen again, so he killed him

The kid was an idiot. Carl told him to put the gun down and instead the kid moves closer and closer to Carl without dropping his gun. Carl did the correct thing taking out a moron. Stupidity gets no sympathy from me.

I don't think the Sophia thing is that big of an issue. Most likely she hid in the barn herself, not realizing there were walkers in there. Yes, you can consider that there were 20 walkers in there, however, the lighting isn't very good and Sophia is very small.

The thing I never understood is they had plenty of space between them and the walkers and keeping a pretty good distance apart from them but Shane felt like they'd die and shot Otis it made 0 sense. Also I understand Shane loved Lori but he slept with Andrea and could have easily started a relationship with her instead.

The mood was kind of dragging with kids getting shot and animals getting killed, I just felt like a dance party would cheer the place up
