Probably one of the greatest female performers of all time on a talent show at only 16 years old. What she accomplished was by far epic.

Not sure about the ‘all time’ part? She’s very good but not in the same league as many current and past female vocalists. These days you don’t need to be that special or talented to have a successful career due to social media! Good singer yes! One of the greatest of all time? Not even close!

@@HGee420this kind of talent is not as common as what you think….. because nowadays, almost everything is auto tuned, reverbed, playbacked, or enhanced in someway. You need to remember that, when you’re watching people sing. Even most live shows are not truly live. But once in a while, you will come across a great singer, who is truly amazing without any of the enhancement. That is the one thing I miss about my childhood…growing up in the 90s, it was an amazing time.

Angelina Jordan and Louisa Johnson are 2 that come to mind immediately. their souls are amazing. Angelina was 13 when she stunned the audience into a moment of silence before the cheering roared and Lousia was a huge powerhouse at 17

I will never understand how she didn't win this. However, she got her career and it's super and God bless her.

Years later and I still shed a tear when I listen to this. Great song writing, really pulls at the heart strings.. all her songs are great.

She has a god given voice..powerful and comes from a genuine place. She is like a young Adele

She's like herself. Adele is quite a monotonous singer. She writes better than she sings, save old. Ella is far superior. She has many layers.

Man... when she sings I actually understand the meaning of lyrics . great connection with the audience.

Beautiful girl. She was so young at the time yet handled it so maturely and gracefully. Shes a star.

This girl would of made it in any generation. What a talent. They just don't come like this no more.

It's probably the crime of the century that Ella didn't win that year , she was far and away the best talent there . But she has done incredibly well since with a net worth in excess of 3 Million USD .

Great to see how far she has come since this --- on tour recently .

Every second that she gives is a dream. Takes me all the way back and I will NEVER understand how she was not that year's winner.... But we, who get to hear her now are the real winners. Ella, you are something else. X

The word “amazing” was meant for you. I watched your first edition and I bought your songs since. I’m 66 years of age this year, and I think you’re brilliant. The song with everything I didn’t say to you is so perfect. I played over and over again, sometimes, because the meaning in the words are so true. If only we said what we really felt you could save a relationship. Well done young lady.

What I absolutely love ❤️ about Ella (apart from her voice of course) is her humility. She never seeks to one-up anyone or bring anyone down to make herself feel better. She is just a beautiful person inside and out. And that is rare to find.

I think any other year she would have won, but there was James and he was incredible too

I feel for her. Even though she's 16 it seems she's been through a lot of emotions and it definitely comes through in her voice. Oh, and I absolutely hate Grease but holy cow did she do a great job on that song.

One of the most shocking exits in xfactor history. Her going out in 7th really came out of left field, but in the end might have bee better for her given the time she had to write Chapter Oe that was one of the most solid albums of good songs I've seen from a debut artist.

I remember following her each week and wondering how they were going to screw her over. Ella took over every song she sang. She is right there with Sam Bailey as a raw and limitless talent. I cried when she was eliminated. Still I remember her and none of the others unless she was on with James Arthur (just checked and she was in fact on with James Arthur) I wish they would have done a duet. I'm proud of both of them. I am listening to the Rule The World song and it was fantastic. She got a little ify at the very end but it somehow made it more convincing. I'm just glad she got a career out of it.

She is so sweet and naturally and so fantastic a singer♥️ I just love her so much and hope she will have a wonderful carrier 🤞🥰

People say she's like Adele I love Adele but Ella has way more vocal range, and she has power between her highs and low pitches where as Adele has only a lower tone both great but love Ella acoustic versions to death especially alibi and there's another I can't remember the name of I think it's a cover but yh awesome❤
