Necrons actually had 2nd Ed rules, for the metal minis you mentioned. They were in white dwarf. 3rd Ed had a full rerelease in plastic with a full codex. 😃

Ah yes I remember the WD article now. The Necron codex was late in 3rd if I recall.

Late 3rd ed and I played with that codex still in 5th edition till late 5th edition. It was tough playing with the phase out rule in 5th 😂

I know the pain of selling my figures from my early years, only to regret that later 😞

Necrons were introduced in late 2nd Edition with a handful of Miniatures in the White Dwarf. I remember a Store-Employer of GW in Oberhausen playing a small army of this. He had a catchphrase for his army: "We are bringing you peace. Forever!" (Okay, I'm translating this quite raphly, because I'm not sure, if there is a similiar use of words in english. "Der ewige Frieden"/"Forever Peace" was in this case just an euphemism for "We kill you."

2:40 "He just rolled the dice when I told him to..." Sounds like a game of Talisman that my brother and I talked our parents into playing :D 11:40 Battlefleet Gothic, one of the few games (other than Blood Bowl) where I had a completely painted force of Eldar....such a great game but used to tick off a Space Marine player because my pulsars cut right through his battle barge.

Upvote for Blood Angels

Quite a journey - I started similarly myself, getting into the hobby during 2nd (from Space Hulk before that) and properly into 3rd, but afterwards it was much more of a clean break until I returned during 9th. Great to see the scope of your collection (surviving collection I should say, I know the regret of armies lost to time), I hope to see some more of the chaos marines one of these days.

ORKs orks OrkS... Orks you can kit bash what ever you want to... i got an 1/48 Valkyre from ??? there an Ork superb fits in =) blasted away by all your ork flyers =) one i got from ??? this resin things too CU

I had a blood angels army and second edition box, Never ever played a game of it 😢 no one to play just loved the models. Still have them all over my mothers, itching to get them out to re paint

I regretfully sold my original armies back in the day; eldar and blood angels... I wonder what has become of them sometimes. Fortunately I am scouring ebay and fb marketplace to recreate these lost armies

yes, PC "simulation" OK i was in NASCAR racing for some years *ROFLOL* BUT if no current flows, the pictures are away... our minis stay, even without any server used energie? no UpDate no download (every time i start Eivor it loads and loads WHY! ? i have internet troug the air) AND YES, and every time i find a box where the 40ks are hidden in, i get ab big smile on my face =)

I think Blood Angels have become boring but when I see your Rogue Trader/2nd edition “Orange” Blood Angel Red Blood Angels it actually get me excited because that is what they SHOULD look like but since 3rd Edition they’ve become a boring bland red…

Play more stuff and faster ... the secret to success that OPR has adopted from WH40k 3rd edition.

@@Miniscape-wh40k ït is.. I knew it was Epic 2nd Ed and I knew the rules, -ish.. As my brother was playing it (I was playing 40k). But it STILL took me by surprise when i constantly lost Land Raiders, Predators, to things that could hardly scratch them in 40k.. lol Often by Overwatch too.. For the campaign i just used Titans and Death Strike Missiles as soona s I could.....
