My husband is Dutch, we just got a Dutchbros around the corner from us, he goes there and speaks Dutch to them, but no one understands. 🤷‍♀️ 😂

No lie, these people are incredibly pleasant and seem genuine when talking to me 😂 A few have memorized my summer/winter drink at this point.

They're peppy - but they're also super amazing people. My husband and I would get DB to celebrate things (anniversary, birthday - gotta get your free one!, etc) and it was fun when we would get the really outgoing ones and he'd make them laugh as much as they'd try to make us laugh. Well... he has passed away and I've been working hard to move forward. I had to get a new job (because of covid) and worked hard - eventually got a promotion I didn't think I'd get (because I still have PTSD, anxiety, and depression from his passing). So while I was driving home, I couldn't stop crying. I had come up to a DB so I thought it best to pull off the road and get a coffee as a 'celebration' but mostly because I needed to center myself. I ordered at the window and the broista asked me how my day was. So I told her - I just got a promotion and I was struggling with the bitter sweetness of it because I'm happy, but at the same time the one person I want to tell, I can't because he passed away a year ago... so I stopped in because I figured it would be something he'd want me to do. She congratulated me on the promotion, handed me my coffee and then refused to take my card for payment saying she got it.

I pulled up to dutch bros the other day, they asked me my name and asked if I wanted to take a shot of nitro cold brew with the whole staff, I said yes, they announced my name to the staff they all cheered and said my name and we took the shot together.... coolest coffee drive through experience ever.

I live in Oregon. Dutch Brothers started in Grants Pass, Oregon. They are everywhere here. I love my local DB. The employees are chill and aren't over the top at mine. I can't handle a lot of their drinks...too much sugar. However, they customize my drinks to whatever I want and have a lot of sugar free options. My boys like to collect their stickers and they are always so sweet to my kids.
