Every Day Doug Plays Connections 05/16 (New York Times Puzzle Game)
Ойындар
I'm Every Day Doug and I play puzzle games every day!
Connections is an engaging word game from the New York Times. Presented with 16 words, you are challenged to find "connections" among four groups of four words each.
If you've read this far, perhaps I can press my luck and let you know about some of the other places you can find me!

I fell for that red herring, thinking "They wouldn't use that category again, would they?". They didn't. 😂
I was only able to get the blue category. Oh well. Like Art said the other day, you are getting better at Connections, Doug, lighting up all the categories.
I fell for the red herring category. After that though, I got it in reverse order.
4 points, but in weird order: 💙 💚 , 💜 , 💛
I don't know about icing a victory and I suppose I've heard of throws but not throw blankets.

Me too
I solved blue, yellow and green but could not come up with an acceptable description for the purple.
As a non native english speaker, I can say it is really difficult to play this game

It's hard to play as a native English speaker, so you are very brave, and must be very smart, as well!! 😊
I cut it close, i only had 1 match with 1 mistake remaining and managed to save it and get the last 3 matches..
Too many one-aways, but was able to get the blue and purple. 2/4
Quite a fun one, lots of overlapping categories. I have a throw for my bed, but it's just a throw not a throw blanket. I totally don't get "ice". Connections Puzzle #340 🟩🟦🟨🟩 (snap cinch lock breeze) a sure thing 🟦🟪🟨🟩 (snap picnic cinch breeze) a sure thing 🟨🟨🟨🟨 photos, 1 🟦🟦🟦🟦 move smoothly, 1 🟪🟪🟪🟪 ------ blanket, 1 🟩🟩🟩🟩 nail down, figuratively speaking, 1
Got everything and in the correct order. Broke my losing streak!! Yea!

CONGRATS!! 👏🎶
Was cinch supposed to be clinch? Because I've never seen that word before and I'm still not convinced it's real. Extremely weak green category when combined with an obscure usage of ice. Ended up guessing the purple category by pure luck, I've always been terrible at the missing word puzzles because I never understand half the references.

They have something called a "cinch belt" which is elastic and fastens with a clasp.
