shadow the hedgehog (the game) mischaracterizes him and reverts him back from his already established character arc to an even more edgy hedgehog which why a lot of people (especially shadow fans like me) hate this game as it marks the downfall of his character.

@@Blueblurz definitely, i can’t provide any opinions on gameplay myself as i haven’t played it, but i’ve seen a playthrough and what people tend to say and so i just wanted to say why some people may dislike it. it’s perfectly fine to enjoy the game though!

Knuckles was a rival to Sonic in his first introduction, and he's every bit as stoic as Shadow is. It's just that Knuckles can occasionally brighten up a bit

Always found it hilarious how christianity was so ingrained in every american's brain from the 40's to the 90's that a word as simple and inoffensive as 'damn', which is used in other related words such as 'damnation' was considered a big no-no curse word.

Knuckles quotes Sonic as saying "Damn right, Knuckles." during one of his raps in SA2, but Espio? I am very disappointed in him.

I find it hilarious that this game is aimed at kids 10+ Someone learned their first swears because of this game.

Sonic's "damn" catches me the most off guard. Just doesn't sound right 😭😭

I always find it funny as the word damn where I’m from isn’t seen as a swear word, so it almost sounds completely fine to me (except that “DAMN 4TH CHAOS EMERALD” line, that’s sounds so forced 😂) Now Eggman saying bollocks in one of the recent Sonic Twitter take overs on the other hand, that’s certainly something!
