I'm also a person that likes to do their own s*** and you only learn from trial and error✌

Beware when changing your front struts on the CRZ. Once you remove the struts, the axel will pop out of place. There is a 50% chance it will pop back in. If not, you will have another unexpected project that will ruin your day. I had to cut the cv boot just to see why the heck it won't go in its hole. I ended up cleaning the 3 bears, re-greased them, and put a new boot on. Preventive maintence.

I’d just bungee it. Saves the pop out from happening. But In a split second it could still slip out and ruin the next 2 hours for you 😂

Hey man just found your channel. Just got some BC coils for my Z and I’m curious if you reuse the top strut mounts for the front struts when you install them. Any help I’d appreciate.

Hi John, what exactly do these do? Do they stiffen the ride? I'm currently at 114k on mine and it is time to upgrade my suspension. Debating on the Tien system or full HPD. I daily drive mine as a commuter and at my last service I was told that I have a few suspension issues that I'll need to address. When I got my car I felt it kind of stiff where the suspension kind of rattles you on the bumps but the parts look stock. No wierd noise but I did notice that the rubber tops that you see when you open the hood are cracking. Since I have to replace those anyway found this but not sure if this is something really needed if I don't track and throw my car around every so often on the fun canyon roads on occasion. Thanks.

Brandon Wallace do it!! So worth it haha. Although I should’ve bought new bearings cause that’s the reason it’s still knocking. I’ll just deal with it for now since the pillow balls reduced it a lot

Nice mod man, a few quick questions though. I am thinking of getting a Honda CRZ 2012-2015 as a first car. Any tips or headsup? How easy is this car to maintain? Any problems so far engine wise with its use? Do you think it would be a good first car to drive in? How much is the yearly car tax on this? Does Insurance register this as a high class vehicle? Much more information on first owning this car financially would be appreciated. Thanks

Honestly if it’s a daily I’d just go with stock or drop springs. Coils aren’t meant to be comfortable. And cheap doesn’t make them softer. I’d definitely go with bc racing tho! Make every drive a blast haha

I wanna avoid sideways roll...wanna lower it ...will it stop moving...bodyroll in wind...constanly have to correct...its worst in other mode than sport...cuz the stiffness is not in other mode..also wanna put a tuned sway bar up front

i lowered mine with springs only and i still have to correct a lot with side wind which makes no reason because of the low profile of the Z really annonying on the highway

Springs don’t help at all. You should get coils to fix body roll

I’m gonna go with the BC for sure, the internal pistons and the shock body are bigger than the Godspeed and few more features the BC like being nitrogen charged the Godspeed doesn’t have
