• Every Country in Afric...
This is the fourth video of a 6 part series where we covered Mali, Cameroon, Botswana, Libya, Equatorial Guinea and The Republic of Congo. The video is an informative guide to Africa and African countries.
It seeks to reverse sweeping generalizations that regard Africa as a monolithic country. In fact, Africa is a continent, the second biggest continent in the world, with 54 individual countries.

I am an African American who is dying to visit as many countries in Africa as I possibly can before I die. I love you videos! It has inspired me to open my heart to the possibilities of visiting so many beautiful countries and cultures. I am not naive, as I know I won’t be welcome everywhere in the continent simply because I am foreign/American. I will keep an open heart and I will visit anyway! I will be in Nigeria/Ghana/South Africa this year. Thank you for the invaluable information. It’s truly a beautiful series that is needed so badly. So much negativity about the continent is portrayed in America and so much history is hidden from my fellow black Americans.

What do you mean you would not be welcomed because you are a foreigner? One of the biggest industries in Africa is tourism, almost every country in Africa would treat a foreigner well, even better than they treat themselves. Unless you are referring to a country like Somalia which is still in bad shape and your concern would be security, you are pretty much welcomed. And you are right on the negativity being portrayed to the rest of the world, they only show the bad side of things and completely ignore the good. Have a friend from Germany and he was astonished when he first came over to Kenya and found out we have cable TV and wi-fi. He actually thought we live in iron sheets or mud houses and that we interact with wild animals on a daily basis (the animal part is kinda true but depends on where you live in the country) because that's what their media shows most of the time. We may not have developed like the western world and have things like sub-ways and what not but I'm pretty much sure you are going to get mind blown when you realize Africa is not what you think it is.

The UK’s educational system is (probably intentionally) awful at teaching about africa, but your videos have given me a great starting point for educating myself. With that said, the phrase “stakeholders in the beef industry” is (probably unintentionally?) an excellent pun - what with ‘stake’ and ‘steak’ being homonyms. It made me smile

This series is so awesome!! My girlfriend is Kenyan, she talks about all the different countries in Africa and it blows my mind how different they all are culturally and economically. Being from Australia, we just have states, no other countries, and all our states are basically identical culturally. So seeing this series and seeing how even though they're all within a close proximity and yet different is mind blowing
