As someone who's played sky for 3 years now.... I just want anyone who's new to the game to know that, the satisfaction, happiness and excitement that you get when you get your first initial starter cosmetics can never be replaced by no matter how many new latest cosmetics you buy. So don't get so caught up on travelling spirits and limited time events such that you forget to enjoy the game itself... : D

The base game cosmetics are kind of boring in my opinion, maybe it's just because I have more seasonal cosmetics than I do base game cosmetics, and when I got used to only wearing every new ts cosmetic I got, I started to find the base game items kinda bland

By August this year I will also reach 3 years! And I agree!! i imagine many long term players like us can relate to this. I was initially caught up in spending on all the fancier, latest outfits. However, i realized theres always gonna be another fancy outfit and you get bored of the fancy one you already spent on. My heart then went to the more plain, simpler looking outfits and this feeling remained unchanged ever since, cuz these held nostalgia plus go with the overall theme of the game rather than the fancier ones which sometimes look out of place.( this is my opinion. I do accept that others may experience sth different.)

For you to have Hearts, you should do heart trades with friends. But if you don't have friends to do heart trades with, there's anotyer solution. Create an alt account and just use it to give you hearts, it's easier but you need to include it in everyday candle farming.​@@kingbob-fk7hn

I don't want to be buying every thing I like, I can't take that much candle saving, so being able to watch this, pinpoint my ABSOLUTE favorite items, and then know only to work toward those as they come, will save me a lot of candles to unlock chat with people and play the game etc. Thank you for putting this together! I have been playing sky for about 4 years now, and after 2 years playing I lost my account. I started over on my switch from complete scratch and really learned to appreciate the game outside of just stressing about cosmetics. For any newer players, you dont have to get the cosmetics to enjoy the game, or buy any in-app purchases. Just play the game the way you want to, its not necessary to extensively candlerun every day for upcoming events or collect every possible season candle if that doesnt feel right for you. Having goals for saving up for cosmetics you want is obviously ok, but make sure to take breaks when you need! Remember, the game is supposed to be relaxing, not stressful! Take this from a sky veteran who has never even completed any of the constellations fully - go at your own pace! ❤❤❤

I downloaded Sky Jan 2020, but only really started playing in summer 2021. I’ve fully experienced 8 seasons, 4 of which I didn’t buy the pass for (Little Prince because I didn’t know how to play, Abyss was gifted to me, and Remembrance and Passage because I didn’t really like the cosmetics). So I’ve only spend 40 dollars worth for Season Passes in 2 years surprisingly. Just an extra 15 from the fortune pack, so 55 dlls in total. Honestly not that bad, I expected way more 😂

The music was amazing, the first time i flew from the isle of dawn to the prairie I’ll probably never forget. Going through every area just in awe at every turn. Unlocking new emotes and desperately trying to get the shadowy players around me to interact with me dancing and waving. Then i get to the “scary red lands” (what i called eden before learning a bit more about the game) and spent probably 30 minutes zooming in and out trying to find the path foreword, getting smacked by flying red rocks and scurrying back to the only candle i could find, frantically pressing my home portal with no success 😂. And finally saying “f* it I’ll lose all of my stuff and it’ll probably just send me back to where i was before i came here”. The experience i entered will remain one of the most beautiful experiences in my gaming career. It was breathtaking. All of this to say, that portion of the game is 10/10, but now i want to look cool, and i want to have cool instruments, and props, but i feel like you just either throw some cash at the game, or really have to be locked into this game, getting on every day, running from place to place getting as many candles as possible for as long as possible, checking all social media, be it the developers or helpful content creators like this one for updates, for hours of grind to get you ONE of the in game currency cosmetics you want from a particular vendor. But i understand they need to make their money. Just sucks being the ugliest character in any instance. And i like to play other games too

Got the game a few days ago on my phone, but I'm gonna wait to get it on my switch so I can play a bit better

No one mentions that you can still get the wooden masks. If you go to the isle of dawn, rest at the fire, then talk to a red cape npc and do the quests.

I forget how many are ultimate gifts no wonder I never see the pot hat for example, or ever wore it again myself lol.

season of shatterings dress is unironically my favorite pants. I always resort back to it lol! also realizing i was a season of dreams moth :o

Hey just wondering, what hair does your character have in the thumbnail? I watched through the entirety of the hair section and I couldn’t find it ahah

Are the not availeble clothes coming back someday? Are those travel spirits that come sometimes?
