@@alexanderkononov1862 I think the whole "knowledge divided" idea is kinda the point. The movie gives you just enough knowledge to grasp the plot, but it intentionally leaves a lot of mystery around the finer details and lore. This is why I hope they never do a sequel/prequel because I feel like it would ruin the original by explaining too much and taking away the mystery.

Here are my Top 5 Favorite Chrisopher Nolan Films 5. Memento-This isn’t one that I rewatch a whole lot, but that doesn’t stop this movie from being an incredible achievement in cinema that makes for an amazing first and second watches 4. Interstellar-While I don’t 100% buy into the third act, upon rewatching this movie again last week, I got quite a bit more invested this movie than I ever had because of its ability to be very emotion and thought provoking at the same time 3. Inception-Objectively, this is Nolan’s masterpiece because of its amazing special effects, fantastic cast, memorable set pieces, big ideas, great journey for DiCaprio, and its ability to be incredibly intelligent while never being indulgent 2. Batman Begins-In my mind, this is the definitive origin story for my all time favorite superhero because it’s able to be very true to the Bruce Wayne/Batman character while having Nolan’s storytelling, aesthetics, and ideas 1. The Dark Knight-A phenomenal comic book film that has fantastic performances, elements from Michael Mann’s Heat, ideas of crime, escalating conflict, the difference between good and evil, and responsibility, which makes for one of my Top 10 Favorite Movies of All Time

Passion of Christ
This is my ranking(havent seen memento, following and insomnia) 9. Tenet (7.5/10) A really cool concept with great potential, but it's confusing, and the plot isn't that intriguing. The characters also arent that interesting, though I did like Robert Pattinson's character a bit. The soundtrack is also nice, and a lot of the scenes were shot fairly well. Its somewhat underrated but not that great. 8. Dunkirk (8/10) A visually stunning film, with intense action sequences and an equally epic soundtrack. This film perfectly depicts the cruelty of human beings when under desperate circumstances. The lack of character development is what made me less invested in this film. Otherwise, its great. 7. Batman Begins (8.5/10) One of the best superhero origin stories, and both Christian Bale and Cillian Murphy delivered excellent performances as Batman and Scarecrow. I like this film, but the other two in the trilogy are better in my opinion. 6. The Prestige (9/10) One of the most mind-blowing thrillers ever made, and it keeps you longing for answers throughout. It has so many twists and turns that are executed perfectly, truly an incredible film, so underrated. 5. The Dark Knight Rises (9/10) A hot take, considering this film isnt that loved by fans, but in my opinion, I consider this a solid movie, and it is probably the best conclusion the legendary trilogy could have. This is one of the most underrated Christopher Nolan films and I think it deserves much more attention. Tom Hardy as Bane is also a perfect casting choice and his performance, though obviously not as good as Heath Ledger's Joker, is still outstanding. 4. Oppenheimer (9.5/10) I was never interested in the biopic genre, and I saw this movie only because Christopher Nolan directed it, and he did not disappoint as this was truly an awesome experience. The story was very interesting and thought-provoking. The acting was superb as the casting choices were the best of all of Christopher Nolan films. All of the cast members gave amazing performances, especially Cillian Murphy and Robert Downey Jr, who both deserve their respective Oscars. Ludwig Goransson created the most epic soundtrack, and the cinematography is also brilliant. The Trinity Test scene is also probably one of the most intense sequences Ive ever experienced in the cinema, had me on the edge of my seat the whole time, hands sweating, heart racing, and the explosion was fantastic since I saw it in an IMAX theater. The final scene to this film is also the most horrifying and devastating thing Ive ever seen. An amazing masterpiece. 3. The Dark Knight (10/10) A lot of people will probably be mad because this is not my top pick, but the next two in my opinion is still better. This is probably one of the best comic book movie of all time, close to Endgame and Infinity War level, and probably even better. Heath Ledger's performance as Joker is undoubtedly legendary and he is and always will be the best Joker. Hans Zimmer's soundtrack is amazing and the Dark Knight theme may be one of the most iconic superhero themes out there. There's just so much in this movie, incredible action, brilliant cinematography and really intense sequences. An amazing experience. 2. Inception (10/10) One of the most unique concepts in all of movie history. This movie is amazing in every way, and though it is confusing, it does get a lot better after a rewatch. The idea of invading a dream and not only extracting information but also planting ideas in the mind is truly mind-blowing. This movie has beautiful shots, an excellent soundtrack, and great performances by both Leonardo DiCaprio and Cillian Murphy. It also has creative action and unexpected emotional scenes. This is truly one of the films one must watch at least once in his or her life. 1. Interstellar (11/10) This is without a doubt, the definition of cinematic perfection. There are no words that could describe how flawlessly executed this film is. Every single aspect of this film is perfect, with amazing acting, that single scene with Matthew McConaughey watching messeges without a single line of dialogue is just perfect. Beyond god tier cinematography with splendid visual effects, and a soundtrack that would not stop to amaze me even 30 years later, truly Hans Zimmer at his best. This soundtrack conveys sheer emotion and intensity, and no other soundtrack could top it. The level of emotion I felt while experiencing this film could not be felt in any other film. As a person that usually doesnt cry while watching movies, this movie makes me cry multiple times, and it never fails to make me emotional every time I watch it. In my opinion the greatest film Ive ever seen, truly Christopher Nolan's magnum opus.

The Prestige is not only my fav Nolan film but my fav movie of all time and it comes at no.1 in my lists.❤
Tenet is so good only if you understand it correctly. It has a twisted ending and emotional scenes, the only thing is not many gets it. For example how many of you understood Neil died, and Neil was Maxemalien? And the plot is so complex too. But once you get it you gonna love it. It is my 3rd favourite Nolan's movie. First is Dark Night, Second is Memento, 4th is Prestige. I had not yet watche oppenheimer but thinks it is a gamechanging

As many others are saying, Prestige is #1 for me, Sean says he can't get into the characters whereas for me the Prestige has the best characters, dialogue, and acting in any Nolan film.
Honestly I love Tenet. It's an intriguing piece and I think Nolan just teases us enough about what he can present in a "film"

The way I screamed at the placement of The Prestige, I- 💀
I just finished watching Oppenheimer. I'm hearing Amy Schumer is calling it sexist? Women are walking out from it? Is it because Florence Pugh showed her boobs a few times? Where was this for Titanic when Kate Winslet showed her boobs in a PG-13 film? Oppenheimer is quite tedious. I think the best part was that second hour leading up to testing the hydrogen bomb. But I actually enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I still prefer Spielberg's Munich (2005) much more but I thought it was entertaining enough about a tedious subject matter involving science and engineering. Every actor was great in it. I do agree somewhat with DisGrace Randolph that Nolan isn't great at creating female characters. Florence was underused. I love her as Yelena but she's only in it to be a deranged Commie/mistress who hates flowers and goes topless which I've seen years ago since I'm a member of Celebrity Movie Archive and check AZNudes weekly. I've seen hundreds of actresses' boobs. I saw Ana De Armas' boobs several years before Blade Runner 2049. I've seen more female skin than Mr. Skin. Heck, I saw Greta Gerwig's boobs like 12-13 years ago. If I see an attractive actress I'm not familiar with, CMA and AZNudes are like my Google to check for any boobies. I did not get a boner seeing Florence's boobs at all. I personally don't find her attractive. Great actress. Looks like a stockier Hayden Panettiere with a bigger head and smaller boobs. But I love Florence's talent which is acting. She was great in Don't Worry Darling. I can love an actress without lusting over her looks. My favorite actress is Julianne Moore and she's freckled with A-cups as seen in Body of Evidence. I still love her as an actress. I don't need to jerk off to an actress to enjoy her work or talent. Not every actress needs to look like Monica Bellucci. I felt Emily Blunt acted no different than January Jones in Mad Men and Laura Dern in The Founder (2016). The typical neglected housewife who becomes a drunk during the mid-20th century when the men had to go to war or do something important. If you ever seen Chaplin (1992), Florence and Emily pretty much acted similar to Charlie's women. But that's how women were in the 1930s through 1950s. Stayed home a lot. What was Nolan supposed to do? Hire Blacks, Asians, and Latinas to work on the H-bomb? The movie was going to be a sausage-fest. My favorite actor in it was definitely Matt Damon. Matt was in my favorite movie of this year: Air. Any movie Matt is in, I usually enjoy it. He gained a lot of weight recently. He's overweight in both Air and Oppenheimer. From what I'm hearing, Matt is a great guy to work with. But I don't mind if he acts like an a-hole in films. David Krumholtz looked like he gained 50 lbs since This Is The End (2013). I almost didn't recognize him the way it took me time to recognize Jamie Lee Curtis in EEAAO. The same guy from The Santa Clause (1994) and Harold & Kumar Trilogy. Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr., and Josh Harnett all did an excellent job. So where is Oppenheimer among my favorites of 2023? Maybe bottom top 10. I still enjoyed Air and BlackBerry more. I enjoyed Across The Spider-Verse, The Flash, and Dead Reckoning more. It's a good movie and maybe Nolan's best since Inception. But I still don't love it. *My* *Favorite* *Chris* *Nolan* *Films* 1. Well the Dark Knight is my favourite Christopher Nolan film, least favourite probably Tenet, because Following I won't put at the bottom since it was Christopher Nolan's debut film, I agree on the others like Insomnia and The Dark Knight Rises. Interstellar I think it's well made but agree on the 3rd act with Dunkirk I think it was well-made too but I didn’t realise that the story was told on different days. The Prestige I like it’s well-told so don’t think it’s one of his weakest, Memento I think may be his best drama film, Inception I agree with the verdict, Batman Begins like with The Dark Knight I like it out of familiarity as a Batman film. Oppenheimer I thought was well-done.
I personally prefer inception over dark knight but good list.
1. Interstellar (10/10) 2. The Dark Knight (10/10) 3. Inception (10/10) 4. The Prestige (10/10) 5. Oppenheimer (10/10) 6. Batman Begins (10/10) 7. Insomnia (9/10) 8. Memento (9/10) 9. Tenet (9/10) 10. The Dark Knight Rises (8/10) 11. Dunkirk (8/10) 12. Following (6/10)
1. Interstellar 2. Inception 3. Oppenheimer 4. Dunkirk 5. Tenet 6. Dark knight
The Prestige at 11, Interstellar and Oppenheimer behind Batman Begins! You're an agent of chaos!
Tenet? Confusing? Shit is *incredibly easy* to follow.
What exactly you mean by cut corners for TDKR? Are you referring to the rumored 4 hour version,it may not be real.
I respect your opinion, but the prestige is getting the respect it deserves in the comment section. 1. TDK 2. Inception 3. Prestige 4. Batman Begins 5. Dark Knight Rises (yeah I’m a sucker for Batman)
Inception is my #1 favorite movie.
