ABOUT THIS VIDEO:
Is the Sabbath day on Saturday or Sunday?
Should Christians still keep the Sabbath day in the new testament?
What does the New Testament say about the Sabbath?
What does it mean that Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath?
What does it mean that we are under a new covenant?
Should Christians today still obey the old testament law?
What is the law of sin and death?
What is the law of the spirit?
Is it a sin if I don't keep the Sabbath?
These questions are just some of the many questions we receive regarding the Sabbath day?
It is a surprise to us here at DLM Christian Lifestyle that so few Christians understand what it means to be under the new covenant. Many do not understand what it means when Jesus said that He came to fulfill the law.
It surprises us because this is our FAITH...
If you have any questions about the Sabbath day, then please watch the full video, because this is not just about the Sabbath day, but about understanding what Jesus really came to do in the flesh. It is about understanding who Jesus really is and what the new covenant means.

I keep the Sabbath from Friday sundown until Saturday sundown. I don't feel I've put myself back into bondage/whatever. I spend the time watching your videos, reading the Bible, praying, watching Christian shows, documentaries about Jesus, Jerusalem, the Apostles, etc. While I already pray/think of God daily, I enjoy having a special day dedicated to God. Another commentor noted how nice it is to already have all the cooking done and the house clean before the Sabbath arrives and I agree - it's so nice to have a peaceful clean home and then just focus entirely on God for a day.

*Please carefully read 2Cor. 3: Here's the text for you from the KJV* 2Cor. 3: 3:1 Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you? 2 Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men: 3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart. 4 And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: 5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; 6 *Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; NOT of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter KILLETH, but the spirit giveth life.* 7 But if the MINISTRATION OF DEATH WRITTEN AND ENGRAVEN IN STONES was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: 8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious? 9 For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. 10 For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth. 11 *For if that which IS done away* was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious. 12 Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: 13 And not as Moses, *which put a veil over his face,* that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: 14 *But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.* 15 *But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.* 16 (Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.* 17 *Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.* 18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even *as by the Spirit of the Lord.*

@koningbormichael1126 Just obey God's instructions. God gave us the resting day before He gave Moses the 10 commandments. Do not confuse God's peace with practical rest from your work. God rested on the seventh day. God knows what we humans need. Resting on the 7th day gives you time to spend with your family, with God, and indicates that you trust that God will provide. The average person lives 11 years longer if he rest once a week. So God adds a day for every day you Obey His commandment. ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭34:21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ [21] “Six days you SHALL work, but on the seventh day you SHALL rest; in plowing time and in harvest you SHall REST. ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭2:2‭-‬3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ [2] And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He RESTED on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. [3] Then God BLESSED the SEVENTH DAY and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made. ‭‭John‬ ‭14:27‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ [27] Peace I leave with you, My PEACE I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. bible.com/bible/114/jhn.14.27.NKJV

The Glory literally appears by praising Him all day long copying heaven on earth on the Sabbaths. Biblical level miracles happen when the Glory literally appears. Sabbaths are the missing link back to the Biblical level miracles. Tarry (Stay put and wait) upon YHVH in one accord, in one place until the Glory literally appears in the gatherings. Heaven on earth becomes vivid by keeping Sabbaths. Stay put, must not be going forth on the Sabbath day = Tarrying together in one accord (complete unity and harmony), in one place until the Mighty Rushing Wind of Fire appears blowing in the gatherings.

Jesus paraded the heart of His Sabbath truth, and silenced his critics. He meant for us to believe his custom & his teaching: he had to present himself in the synagogue every Sabbath - and everyone was astonished at him, and he gives us grace to meet up with others where we can. Indeed, my other sister, Abba is at the heart of the Sabbath, and thank you for sharing this truth with us. I'm a home-based Seventh day Adventist, and many in the church are home-based. But as for going to a church just for the sake of going to a church because you believe that that is the only way to gather together with fellow believers I'd have to say I believe you're wrong... She has her children and I'm pretty sure if she reads her Bible in a daily basis with her children she also fellowships with fellow Christians but just not inside the four walls of a church... So let me ask you which church do you believe she should go to? Roman Catholic... Veneration of Mary... the pope is Christ Jesus in the flesh... Praying to saints... Holy tradition that contradicts the Bible Baptist Church... That has communion with grape juice... When the Bible makes it clear through the words of Paul that they were using wine.. in fact Paul even says that some of them in Corinth were getting drunk... You can drink as much as you want of grape juice and you will never get drunk... The Methodist Church.... Allowing female preachers after Paul says for them not to be... Allowing homosexuality after God says it's an abomination... In fact they allow all kinds of crazy stuff... You know what... I can go on and on... But this would be an extremely long comment.... The bottom line is this... If she feels that these churches have paganistic practices in which they do... She should not attend them and she should love her God instead...

@@user-sm3qh5xq1y, the Sabbath command was a covenant between YHVH and the children of lsraeI, given through Moses. You will never find a single scripture commanding Gentiles to keep the Sabbath, nor punishing Gentiles for not keeping the Sabbath. It’s also not just a command pertaining to the children of lsraeI keeping one weekday reserved for YHVH, but they were also commanded to observe Sabbath years. Jesus Christ is our Sabbath rest, according to Hebrews 4, because it’s in Him that we rest from our labors of trying to earn righteousness through the Law, since Jesus Christ fulfilled the Law perfectly on our behalf, and then He gave Himself as the propitiation for our transgressions, and if we still believe our righteousness comes from the Law, then we have made the death of Christ in vain, and we have trodden on the ßIood of the Son of YHVH, calling His ßIood an unholy thing, Hebrews 10, incapable of atoning in full our transgressions of the Law, and surely the wrath of YHVH is going to be upon us for trampling on the ßIood of Christ, which was shed to blot out our iniquities IN FULL. I was justified at the cross, because I believe the gospel of Christ, and the only righteousness I have is imputed to me by YHVH because I believe on Him who YHVH sent to redeem me and reconcile me back to Himself. All works are for God’s glory, as they are fruits of His indwelling Holy Spirit done through me, and Jesus Christ is my righteousness. Even the apostles said the Law was a heavy yoke that neither they, nor their fathers, were able to bear, so if I believe my salvation, my righteousness, rests on my ability to keep the Law, when even the children of lsraeI couldn’t do it, instead of believing I have been declared righteous because Jesus Christ took my place on the cross, and died to pay the penalty I deserve for my transgressions, and arose the 3rd day, then I have made Christ of no effect for me, Galatians 5, and I will be judged by the Law, and I will be condemned by the Law, because YHVH has already declared that I fall short of keeping the Law perfectly as He commands. But for those who believe the gospel, who wear Christ as our righteousness, having been born again and baptized into Christ by faith, declared righteous by faith, there is no condemnation for us, Romans 8 vs 1, because we abide in Christ, and are not under the Law of condemnation, but under the Law of the Spirit. If I put myself back under the Law for righteousness, then I have put myself back under bondage, and those who are of Jerusalem above are free, and I will not inherit the kingdom above if I have put myself back in bondage to the Law, Galatians 4. Jesus Christ set me free with His precious ßIood, and my inheritance is in Jerusalem above, which is free, and not earthly Jerusalem, which remains in bondage. If people want to go back under the Law for righteousness, they will be judged by the Law, and every last one of them will fall short of keeping the Law perfectly as YHVH commands, and they will perish by the condemnation of the Law. “Tell me, you who desire to be under the Law, do you not hear the Law? For it is written that Abraham had 2 sons, one by a woman in bondage, and the other by a free woman. He who was born of the bond woman was born after the flesh, but the son of the free woman was by promise. These two sons are an allegory for 2 covenants, the covenant from Mt Sinai which causes bondage, for the bond woman, Agar, is Mt Sinai, and she is in bondage with her children, and answers to the Jerusalem which is now, the earthly Jerusalem. But Jerusalem above is free, which is the mother of us all, and the one born after the flesh, in bondage to the Law, persecutes the one who is free, born after the Spirit, who is not in bondage to the Law. And the scriptures declare the one born of the bond woman, in bondage to the Law per the covenant on Mt Sinai, WILL NOT inherit Jerusalem above, because Jerusalem above is free, and the one who is set free is under the new ßIood covenant, not the old covenant, and a child of the promise, having been born of the Spirit and not the flesh”, Galatians 4, vs 21- 31, paraphrased. Every Sabbath keeper I’ve met has rested their salvation in the fact that they keep the Sabbath Law, but they never keep the Sabbath years God commanded, and they have persecuted those who are born of the Spirit, who trust their salvation rests solely in the atoning ßIood Christ shed to blot out our iniquities. They always tell those who rest in Christ that we’re damned because we don’t rest our righteousness on the Law. There may be some who don’t persecute those who know Christ set us free from bondage to the Law for righteousness, because Jesus is our righteousness, but I don’t recall meeting one. That’s why they won’t answer your question, because they can’t rightly divide the scriptures, and understand who the Sabbath command was given to as a covenant between only one of God’s eIect, lsraeI, and YHVH, versus the new covenant, based solely on the redemptive work of Christ and His shed ßIood as our righteousness, that says Jesus is our Sabbath rest, because the seed of promise, Christ, set us free from the Law for righteousness, given at Mt Sinai. The Law was meant to show us our transgressions, and why we need Christ as our Savior, because we are not able to make ourselves righteous by the Law due to our faIlen nature. The Law was never meant to save us, or give us righteousness, because none of us can keep it the way YHVH demands, which is perfectly, like Jesus Christ did on our behalf. As Paul said, without the Law, he would have never known what sin is. It’s our understanding of our transgressions of the Law, and our hopelessness to earn righteousness by keeping the Law, because we all fall short, that turns us to Christ for our redemption. The righteous through Christ are not under the Law, because the Law is for the unrighteous. We have a righteousness that comes from YHVH, which we don’t deserve, nor could we ever earn, imputed by His grace and mercy, through faith alone, because we believe on Christ and His work on the cross for our redemption.

I hope to give understanding. Context in the Bible is important. The Bible as a whole points to Christ alone for salvation. The focal point is Jesus not Law or works by man! The Ten Commandments were part of the old covenant given to the nation of Israel/Jewish people. The purpose of the Law was to reveal the sinfulness of mankind and show how much in need we are of being saved from Gods wrath Galatians 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. Romans 6:14-15 We are not under the Law but under grace. The Old Covenant has served its purpose and it has been replaced by “a better covenant” Hebrews7:22 We need to be very careful that we aren’t putting any Law above Christ. When we focus on keeping the Law we diminish Christ’s work on the cross. Galatians 2:21 if righteousness could be gained through the Law Christ died for nothing. James 2:10 For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it." So, have you kept the Law? the Bible says no one has. don’t be like the Pharisees and think you can earn salvation by what you do! Salvation is a gift from God. Ephesians 2:8-10 “By grace you have been saved though faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works lest any one should boast" Let’s say someone gives you a new car as a gift. In return you pay the giver 10 cents. It is no longer a gift because you earned it by your payment of 10 cents. It is now yours by right. Your 10 cents of payment would be a slap in the face to the giver. That is what we are doing when we add our works to Christ’s work for our salvation. Don’t be like the Pharisees and throw self righteousness at our Savior! Who are you relying on for salvation? Jesus or in your own ability to follow the 10 Commandments? You are already doomed of breaking the Law so it’s time to give it ALL to Christ! When we give it ALL to Christ we are born again and we become new creations in Christ! 2Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. We receive a new heart with new desires to serve and please God Ezekiel 36:26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.

As a 30+ year seventh-day Sabbath-keeper, I've never seen arguments or discussions regarding the Sabbath that are not done in love and gentleness. Yes, we love God every day, but we don't keep a Sabbath rest every day. If we did, nothing would get done. The Sabbath was very specifically described in the 10 Commandments, which day it is and what it is for. Keeping the seventh-day Sabbath according to the 10 Commandments is an act of LOVE for God, not a way to earn our way to heaven, no more than keeping the other nine are. It is obedience done in love for God, as are keeping the other nine. The 10 Commandments were not done away with, the ceremonial law pointing to Christ's sacrifice was, as was shown by the tearing of the temple curtain as with unseen hands when Jesus was crucified. After the Lamb of God was slain, it was no longer necessary to make sacrifices pointing to His crucifixion because "it is finished." He was not even prepared for burial until after the Sabbath was over. Jesus never changed it, the Apostles kept it and that's why I do. It will be kept in heaven. The 10 Commandments are His Commandments, so we don't get to pick and choose. The Sabbath was established at creation for all mankind as a gift to us from God, not as a day for the Jews. It is important enough to God to have Him tell us exactly which day it is and that we need to rest on that day. Not keeping it as the Jews, by having rules like not turning on light switches and tearing the toilet paper before the sun goes down. That was added to the Sabbath Commandment in an effort to make sure it is kept, but it takes it to an unnecessary degree. "Changing" the Sabbath or any of His Commandments, written with His own finger in stone to last for eternity, takes a great deal of audacity on the part of mankind, who have no authority to do so. We cannot change His law. We don't have that right. I've never argued about it, just explained it, and have always been greatly blessed by it.

The lost tribe of Israel is awakening to the Truth by God. Many are being convicted about the renewed covenant made by the Blood of Yeshua. We are returning as prophesied! The rest will be considered the least of these according to Yeshua words!!! Keep holding to Paul’s writings that have been misinterpreted by Christian leaders. You can’t possibly understand Paul unless you fully grasp the Old Testament. In 2nd Peters he says that Paul’s writings weren’t easy to understand and that many were twisting it for their own purpose! The reason there are so many denominations in Christianity is because of the misinterpretation of Paul’s writings!! Beware the changing of times by antichrist spirits. To be in the safe side, I’ll keep the sabbath with the rest of the 10 commandments and not take my chances with all the pagan elements in Christianity…such as the origin of Christmas Easter and no one can deny the worship of the sun gods on Sunday. Red flag!!! Hmm Saturday or Sunday? You choose! I choose what is written…. Just like Yeshua said. It is written! All came from the Torah. Fulfill doesn’t mean abolish

@@daniel4tune The truth is that the ADVENTISTS do not keep the SABBATH laws according to the Bible anymore than anyone else. Look at Leviticus 23:32, where the Sabbath is to be kept from SUNSET to SUNSET, or Jeremiah 17:21, with the command of Do no work: and they are to stay in one place. (Neh.10:31; 13:15-22; 28:9-1; Ex 16:29). Leave the car and stay home. If traveling, no long walks either, and carry no loads. Jer.17:21-22 no gardening. Exod. 35:2 “Work shall be done for six days, but the seventh day shall be a holy day for you, a Sabbath of rest to the LORD. Whoever does any work on it shall be put to death.” Do you work or your congregation for 6 days? Or 5? If 5 like everyone else you are breaking the law. This is included in the command. And remember to violate it means death. Neither can you separate the punishment from the breaking of the law, they go together. When have you last seen someone stoned for breaking the Sabbath by a Sabbatarian? So be honest, keeping the Sabbath the wrong way equals not keeping the Sabbath at all. Let's be honest imperfect law keeping is not law keeping at all. But over and over again I hear from Adventists at least we try to keep the Sabbath. According to God that is not good enough. Since when does God say good intentions count in keeping the law! It’s falling short no matter if one has good intentions or not. so be honest you don't keep the Sabbath in a biblical manner.

Definition of Romans 14:14 - It is well to consider this entire chapter in its context . Paul was writing about a problem of judging among the apolistic believers. Verses 4,10 and 13 exhort against the sin of judging one another. And it was true that a serious division existed in that early church. The Gentile Christians were judging the Jewish Christians and the Jewish Christians were judging the Gentile Christians. Notice how the previous verses strikes at the very heart of the issue. “Let us not therefore judge one another anymore: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way”(verse13) What was the basis of the problem? Over what were they judging each other? The Gentiles who had come into the church from paganism were offended because the Jewish Christian ate food that had been offered in sacrifice to idols. And the Jewish Christians judged the Gentile church members because they had no regard for the ceremonial days that still observered from Judaism. Some of the Gentile converts were so fearful of eating meat offered to idols that they ate only vegetables. Paul spoke of them in verses 1 and 2. The Jewish Christians thought that was ridiculous and apparently made divisive attacks against their fellow Christians. It was so serious that Paul addressed the problem again in 1 Corinthians 8:8-12. There he elaborated at length on ‘the weak brother’ (the Gentile believer who esteemed the food unfit to be eaten. What was Paul’s councel to the Jewish members who were judging the Gentile members? He told them not to eat the food offered to idols if they were in the presence of those who thought it to be wrong. Even though they had knowledge that the idol was nothing,he told the Jewish converts: “And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish for whom Christ died? But when ye sin so against the brethren and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ” (1 Corinthians 8:11,12) The food offered to idols was not unclean food (Acts 14:13) but was merely esteemed so by the Gentile converts. It was not a moral issue. Neither was the matter of the ceremonial days, which Paul mentioned in Romans 14:5 He told them to stop judging over those issues and to get on with the work. These matters had nothing to do with the moral questions of the seventh day Sabbath and the forbidden unclean food.

See also Matt 5 :19 Whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teach others to do so likewise will be least in the Kingdom of Heaven, but Whoever practice and teaches them will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Jesus is God, the Word that became flesh. God has always been our sabbath rest and we should always rest in Him. That does not give us authority to pick any day we want to replace the sabbath. Psalm62:1Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken. Jesus could not break the Sabbath or He would not be the sinless one.

@@zothanpuiapachuau40 Thank you for all this. I will revise all that you wrote on this subject. It took years for me to finally realise that the law of God was not abolished and it was Paul the big problem all the time. He seemed to say one thing one time then right after say the total opposit. I eventually concluded that Paul was a false desciple and Aposle, and could have even been the anti-christ. And one day I took everything I had found from all my studies and put one thing on half my bed and the other thing on the other half of my bed and said to God what is it? Is it this or this, is it no law? or is it the law stands, please help me with this, please show me Father? And he did not show me right away he still let me struggle some years with that subject. Until I had to put what Jesus was saying 1rst above all other scriptures. What does Jesus say? That was how I had come to the conclusion that the law stands. God wanted me to do intense study to be able to explain it, to help others understand. That is what he has been doing with me. And today all I have to say to God is "show me Father". And He does. Last night after working on my taxes papers for 2024 I went to bed at 4:00am and fell asleep with my phone on, I think the last thing I was listening to was this sermon and I fell on a comment I had written around 9 months earlier saying in result of this video, I would not listen to his chanel anymore because of the false understanding he had about it this subject. I deleted that comment I wrote before falling asleep, because I like how he was serious about all he preached but I could not any longer listen to him because he had not studied this subject enough to make such accusations about the subject that he had not quite understood. I must have fallen asleep with my phone on reading the comments about (the sabbath sunday or saturday.) Sometimes we find very good comments that can add to our bible studies. And when I woke up this morning there was your comment, I must have found it and started reading it and fell asleep on it. I woke up opened my phone and there it was. Thank you. And like I said I will be looking this up to make sure what you are saying is correct. Blessings to you😊

Hey Daniel, just to give some clarity on your statement “that no one was to leave their house” is misunderstood. God commanded that no man was to leave their house to gather the manna because there would be none, for He gave them enough on day 6 so they would have enough until the first day of the week. That way they could receive the blessing of resting in Him and worshipping Him. Nowhere in scripture do we see anybody locked down on the sabbath. Shalom brother.

He is correct (Exodus) 29 See, for that the Lord hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day. His house, “His place” would be in and around your house but not far because your animals must rest and you also “On it you shall not do any work, you or your son or your daughter or your male servant or your female servant, or your ox or your donkey or any of your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates” Rest within your gates, those days it was a big area where families and servants lived together. Definitely not locked up in your house❤️

There are many Daniels in Christian realm dismissing God's Ten Commandments leading God's sheep to disobey God's word. Jesus said, Luke 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? Acts 5:29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men. ----------------------------------------------------- Leviticus 23:3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an HOLY CONVOCATION; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings. Do not be deceived like Eve did. All God's people must follow what God said as sin is the transgression of His commandments. Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. If Jesus did not say His Sabbath day has been taken out of His commandments then it stands as He has spoken. Matthew 12:8 For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day. Jesus went to synagogue on the Sabbath day. We ought to do what Jesus did. Mark 1:21 And they went into Capernaum; and straightway on the sabbath day he entered into the synagogue, and taught. Mark 6:2 And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, ACTS: Acts 13:14 But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and sat down. Acts 13:42-44 42 And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath. 43 Now when the congregation was broken up, many of the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God. 44 And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God. Acts 15:21 For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day. Acts 18:4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks. Please read the Bible yourself and know the truth of God's word. Many will...but few will... Matthew 7:13-14 13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Love in Christ.

Beautifully explained! The ultimate thing we are to gain from the Word is, nothing we do or say will save us. It’s only through our faith and surrendering ourselves to Christ and His will. Remember the scripture where believers cried to Christ about the things they did in His name? It is Him, His will, His purpose, His sacrifice for paying for our sins and grace that saves us! And if we are no longer taking credit for what we do, but what Christ did and continues to do.. that is how we are justified by faith.

Hebrews 4:4-11 4 For somewhere he has spoken about the seventh day in these words: “On the seventh day God rested from all his works.”[c] 5 And again in the passage above he says, “They shall never enter my rest.” 6 Therefore since it still remains for some to enter that rest, and since those who formerly had the good news proclaimed to them did not go in because of their disobedience, 7 God again set a certain day, calling it “Today.” This he did when a long time later he spoke through David, as in the passage already quoted: “Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts.”[d] 8 For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken later about another day. 9 There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; 10 for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works,[e] just as God did from his. 11 Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience

Hi Daniel, I absolutely agree that we should talk about things of eternal value; especially when we have differences of understanding (I’m a scientist and value conferences highly where different insights to a problem help us to move forward in resolving it). If we allow the Bible to interpret itself then we should be able to come to a consensus. It is in the spirit of 1 Petr 3:15 (KJV) “be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear” that I wish to comment on your presentation: 1.Would you agree that Jesus condensed the Law and Prophets into two sentences when He said (Matt 22:37) Love the Lord your God with all your heart (which summarise the first 4 commandments in the Moral Law) and Love your neighbour as yourself (the last 6). If we love our Lord and Saviour we would most definitely not want to disobey Him (worship no other gods or idols, do not use the Lords name in vain, and keep the seventh day as a sabbath to the LORD your God). And if we love our neighbour we would honour our parents, would not commit murder or adultery or give false testimony or steal or covet anything that belongs or our fellow man). 2.Would you agree that the man Moses was instructed to be stoned had committed this sin immediately after God had just warned his people about the consequences for sinning intentionally (Num 15:22-3). 3.Would you agree that Jesus kept the Sabbath holy “as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day,” Luke 4:16 (KJV). And Luke indicates what day the Sabbath is and also when it starts (Luke 23:54 (NLT) “This was done late on Friday afternoon, the day of preparation, as the Sabbath was about to begin.” 4. Would you agree that the event recorded in Acts 20:7 could likely be about Paul giving his departure talk to his followers in Troas late Saturday night which was already the first day of the week according to Jewish reckoning. This reasoning is strongly supported by the evidence in Acts 13:14; 17:1,2; 18:4 where Paul preached on the Sabbath (as his custom was) and in Acts 16:42,44 where even the gentiles asked Paul to preach to them on the next Sabbath. 5. Would you consider the possibility that in Col 2:16,17, Paul refers to the ceremonial sabbaths of the Jews which should not be confused with the weekly Sabbath specified in the 10 Commandments. Such a view would not contradict the fact that he worshipped on the Sabbath as indicated in the texts listed in par 4 above. 6. Jesus was the first human to live in full obedience of the law yet he died to pay for the sins of man. When quoting Matt 5:17, one must also read verse 18 and 19: “For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” Paul acknowledge in Rom 7:12,14 that the law is “holy and righteous and good,” and even “spiritual” 7. If you truly believe that it is all about love, as you rightfully summarised, then Joh 14:15,21 (KJV) is pleading with you: “If ye love me, keep my commandments. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. These commandment include the fourth which states “Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy..” 1 John 2:3 “By this we can be sure that we have come to know Him: if we keep His commandments.” 10. It is significant to note that the Sabbath in an eternal ordination. In Isa 66:22,23 we read: “And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD. And Rev 22:14 concludes the matter by stating “Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city” If you want to see what a discovery of the spiritual significance of the Sabbath has brought to individuals then watch for example “Baptist pastor understands truth about the Sabbath - KZread”

Oh boy. Your reasoning has so many holes in it, I am inclined to believe it is a fisherman's net. I am not even going to start debunking simply because I am overwhelmed by the numerous errors and misunderstanding. I am going to tackle one. It's not everywhere you see the word " commandments" it means the Ten Commandments. Jesus gave commandments not associated with the Ten. The law of God "physical" obedience and the law of Christ "spiritual of the heart" are two different things. Quoting scriptures that you do not fully understand is cringe worthy and embarrassing.

@@flexx7611 Please Expand on what you mean by differences between the Law of God and the law of Christ. I hope you do not mean that God’s moral law (the 10 commandments which include keeping the 7th day Sabbath ) are no longer necessary if we adopt Christ’s “spiritual law”? Surely you do not condone stealing, killing, or any other of the 10 commandments. Would you agree that it may be possible that Christ actually demonstrated that the moral law is easy and natural if adopted whole heartedly, spiritually? I would appreciate if you could point out the misunderstandings or errors by quoting scripture.

Well the brother is not quite right, when Paul is saying the things he is saying, he says, don't let no one judge you when you keep the Sabbath, or when you eat clean and not unclean, or what you drink, Paul was saying this to gentiles, because their people (other gentiles) were judging them for the change they have taken and are now living. So looking at it very closely, the people judging them, were judging them for keeping the Sabbath, and eating and drinking clean. This people judging them, did not know God YHWH, so how is the judgement or criticism they are providing from a "law keeping" perspective? When they themselves didn't know it or even followed God YHWH? The were being taught by Paul to actually keep all these things, and their people (gentiles) were telling them why? "We" don't do those things, why are you? Well they were doing so because Jesus did, Paup did, and this is why Paul taught it to other nations and told them don't let no one judge you for keeping the Sabbath, or eating clean. The brother in this video is missing that point.

Leviticus 23:3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an HOLY CONVOCATION; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings.

The Sadducee Temple priests officiated the weekly Sabbaths and High Days at the time of Christ, who never contested their solar calendar. In 66AD the Pharisee Anti-Roman (Anti-Fasse/ANTIFA) Zealot rebels, seized control of the Temple. When contested for control, 20000 Judean 'Jewish' Edomites assisted the Zealots and murdered most of the Sadducee aristocracy, priests and hundreds of the Jerusalem populace. The ANTIFA Zealot rebels then appointed their own accursed lunar calendar high priest, who was the last to be seen standing in the Holy Place when THREE AND A HALF YEARS later, the Prince of the Roman Emperor arrived and desolated Jerusalem, Judea and the Jews in 70 AD - culminating in the taking of Masada another THREE AND A HALF YEARS AFTERWARDS. Most of the Christians, remembering Christ's words, escaped to Jordan between the two sieges of Jerusalem - the first siege by General Gallus who then strangely withdrew from Judea, and the second by "prince" Titus son of the new Emperor. These SEVEN YEARS are the fulfillment of Daniels prophesy. Surviving Pharisees continued to enforce their lunar calendar 'sabbaths and high days' in the Synagogues, which they controlled - hiding the Sadducee Temple calendar from the people. Constantine managed to establish the Resurrection day as Sunday in 30 AD on their Julian calendar, which actually overlapped the Biblical weekly Sabbath THAT year. Unable to establish the Biblical calendar, Constantine changed Sunday to the first day of his new Roman week in honour of the Resurrection. Later Constantine's son Constantius ll, knowing the Pharisee's lunar interpretation of the Biblical calendar to be Babylonian and Canaanite, forbade them from signaling the start of their lunar months across the Empire from Jerusalem. As a concequence, Hillel ll was forced to choose a Roman day for their weekly 'sabbath', and he chose Saturday - the seventh day of Constantine's NEW week. The rest of their lunar calendar they kept by Rabbinical calculation. Thus the true Biblical Temple calendar was lost until the discovery of the Dead Sea Scroll's. The Dead Sea Scroll's solar calendar, corrected to the Sadducee 19th Abib Omer Wave Sheaf, is the correct Biblical calendar revealing the weekly Sabbaths and High Days - which is why the Zionist State of Israel suppressed them for 40 years before they were leaked out on micro fish copies. Saturday was only chosen for the Jewish 'sabbath' by Heliel II about 300 years after Christ. He standardised the Jewish calendar. Even before that the weekly 'sabbath' they kept was the Babylonian lunar 'sabbath' that the Pharisees introduced and enforced in the Synagogues after the Temple was destroyed in 70AD. The true weekly Sabbath was already hidden by the Pharisees in favour of the Babylonian lunar interpretation of the Biblical calendar. Knowing this, Constantine's son forbade them from signaling their pagan lunar calendar observations across the Roman Empire. However Constantine himself was unable to determine the true Biblical weekly Sabbath, but he was able to determine that Christ was resurrected in that year on the Roman solar calendars "Sunday". Therefore in honour of the resurrection he changed Sunday to the first day of his NEW Roman week and also made Sunday the day of rest. Without Roman authority to signal their Babylonian lunar 'sabbath' across the empire, Hillel II and other anti-Christ Jews were forced to choose a Roman weekday as their "new sabbath" and he chose the seventh day of Constantine's new Roman week - i.e. "Saturday" ! Rabbi 'Sages' don't tell you all this and most Rabbis don't even know this themselves ! Karaite Jews today still keep the Babylonial lunar calendar and many Christians have been seduced into doing the same. Jericho was an ancient lunar calendar observation city dedicated to and named after their moon god. The Bible called Jericho the "accursed city" and Joshua was commanded to totally destroy it and its inhabitants after marching around it once for six consecutive days and seven times on the seventh day - i.e. 13 times in total ! I think that, as opposed to the Second Advent and the "Marriage of the Lamb" that nobody knows, the preceding "great and dreadful day of the Lord" can actually be established as the 20th March 2031. The world will feel that ominous consuming fire approaching and will run around trying to hide, while Christians enter into their inner prayer "chambers". When the Christians come out, there will be no OTHER flesh and blood survivers - who will be burnt up and trodden "as ash under their feet." They will mourn for their friends and relatives who weren't "saved", but SOMETIME afterwards will witness the return of Christ coming from east to west. Raising their eyes they will be transformed in an instant, allowing them to rise up and meet His RETURN. Thereafter they will be consoled when He "wipes the tears" from their eyes and takes care of them like as "calves of the stall". That's how I perceive these future Biblical events, but I will look at the verses you mention...... Don't the dead in Christ rise "first" - a great multitude ? Then those living Christians that are "left" come safely out of their prayer chambers - AFTER the "wrath", to "tread upon the ashes of the wicked who have been removed from the earth" - "The righteous shall NEVER be removed but the wicked shall be cut off". These "saved" righteous remnant then "lift up their eyes", and are then "changed in the twinkling of an eye", and able to rise up and meet Christ returning with this great host..... The chronology in the Septuagint is a few hundred years longer than in the Masoretic Text. Both are flawed: The imminent millennial reign of Christ on earth coincides with Yahweh's 2nd 'day' of rest - "and His rest shall be glorious" because His Son is ruling on earth for that 1000-year-day. So if Yahweh's first "day" of rest was ALSO a thousand-year-day, in which Adam died at 930 years old "in the same day" he sinned, and Adam was also made near the end of the previous 6th 'day', then we are currently near the end of the 13th thousand-year-day which actually ends on the "great and dreadful day of the Lord" on the 20th March 2031.

No dear brother, he has not. Please READ Matthew 5:17-22 for the FULL message from our Messiah. This video uses trickery and takes Scriptures out of context. Also read Revelation 12:17 (read the whole chapter too) and Revelation 14:12 plus that chapter too. Study Matthew chapter 5 through 7. Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you. Not these videos. Then the Bible will be made clear.

The sabbath was given to The nation of Israel and all the mixed multitude that were with them BEFORE the giving of the Sinai covenant. God did this, He said,to TEST them to see if they would be obedient to Him. He also instructed those, who have an obedient faith, to REMEMBER the Sabbath…the very thing the majority of Christianity has forgotten. As for the logic used to get to any other sabbath day in the New Testament has to be a learned theology from man made doctrine because nowhere does it say the sabbath was switched to Sunday or any other day. God always has been worshipped everyday of the week, whether in temple times or post destruction. Nowhere is that a substitution for His Sabbath command. The very day that was given as a SIGN of who His children are: [Eze 20:19-20 ESV] 19 I am the LORD your God; walk in my statutes, and be careful to obey my rules, 20 and keep my Sabbaths holy that they may be a SIGN between me and you, that you may know that I am the LORD your God.'

Early Christians still met on the Sabbath (The Lord's Day). And on Sunday. Christ elevated the law. Don't murder > don't hate. Don't commit adultery > don't look in lust. Don't work on the Sabbath > do God's holy saving work on the Sabbath. ~"Nothing from the law will pass away until heaven and earth pass away. He who teaches these things will be called great in the kingdom of heaven."
