Pretty sure that's a 10% reduction in hit PAUSE, not hit STUN. Meaning, the pause for dramatic effect when any hit connects. It would not affect comboing at all, just how fast the game flows. It probably only affects 1v1 because this hit pause doesn't show in 2v2 since random pauses might interfere with what the other two fighters are doing.

I think I know exactly what you mean, and frankly it is a dub if so. Making the game feel faster in 1’s is a smart move regardless, even if I never personally had an issue with it.

It definitely looks a little faster. This should help with the slower feeling gameplay. For anyone who doesn't get it, hitstop is used to add a feeling of impact to heavy hits and will make everything pause for a brief moment like someone hit the pause button. Hitstun stops a player or NPC while everything else keeps going, like they are frozen in place, and after a brief moment the knockback is applied.

The jake glitch was basically when his stretch would cause the game to lag. Very broken.

Cool. You can try characters before you buy them. That's something I wish Smash did with the DLC fighters.

Bro their is no documentation of PC to Playstation friends being invisible and unable to join 2v2 matches. I haven't been able to play with a friend in 2v2s and I wonder if they fixed it without documenting it or if it is still broken.

The random button for some reason only randomizes characters that u have even if your in training mode and every character is unlocked or when in custom cpu fights it only picks characters thats unlocked so thats why you got jason out of every character in your roster

On Xbox Series X it no longer has lag spikes where it freezes for 1 or 2 seconds but the overall performance seems to be worse running around 30fps and occasionally gets back to 60fps

Someone at hungryboxes level conflating hit PAUSE and hit STUN which are so funamentally different things will never fail to piss me off

a few patches i would like to see Bugs: bring down his kill power. his safe, rocket, and up air kill really early. up air kills jason when hes at 101%. his side air is very disjointed and sometimes feels like its bigger than it looks. his up air and down air stay out for way too long and both do not have a sour spot when its lingering. more end lag on neutral air or more start up on up air. you can still easily loop nair into itself and 0-death any character. his pie also is a little too strong. some softer projectiles don't get rid of the pie Finn: make his swing down not spike. Jason's up special does not spike, and i dont see why both don't do the same thing Joker: i spent 5 minutes in training with Joker and found a 0-death with one youtube video. also the combos i found can be started at any percent. side attack x2 dair, down special, up air, up special, up air. also his side attack hits behind him and can be looped into infinity if there was enough bar for it. not any character i have tried that same combo with works. it ends at aprox. 30%. his up air hits below, in front, above, and a little behind him. not as bad as bugs since it does not kill as early. his neutral normal travels way too far. half the stage. and also when you change the card when it's on cooldown, it does not match up with the same card displayed. Batman: make his side air easier to hit. his first side air is very specific and already hard to hit. his second side air is even more specific. make his side air 1 send at a downwards angle(not steep) instead of up. Banana guard: less hit priority on his side special/lasts a shorter amount of time when its activated near ledge Harley Quinn: more end lag on her neutral attack. it feels like she is being rewarded for missing the attack. it's sweet spot is behind her. you can go above the attack but she still hits you with it.

The reason 2v2s was unchanged was that reducing hitstun there reduces team combos

I am GOD DAMN GLAD that they fixed the phantom inputs! I have been having that problem for almost forever now! I am so glad they taken that into consideration and fixed it, and now I think Multiversus might just be the new Smash Bros (if WB executes the game properly and in the right way)!

Playing on Series X; actually able to play around 30 games cross-play mostly normally, maybe 5 dc’s today compared to DC’ing every 2 out of 3 games and only being able to smoothly play vs other xbox players. A pretty big improvement

Is it just me, or is the game performing worse after the update? Every game i played in two's, atleast 1 player gets disconnected. (And if both enemy players get disconnected and jump of the map, the game still can end in a loss)

Idk the hit stun nerf is super strange you pretty much can’t combo at all now outside of like a 2 hit stream

Im not a fan of the git stun being different in the two modes. It messes with muscle memory.

The xbox patch was the most inaccurate shit ever my performance is still ass and now it looks like im playing on a switch now

No, I just didn't realize with the re release a they had taken that away. I hadn't checked that feature out yet. It is genuinely shocking to find out they would do that. That and the new currency system does suck so far, gold would be nicer. It seems like unless lots of events are ongoing and you play daily you won't be unlocking many characters. Hopefully the game gets better, it's sad to see the beta be better than the release so far.

i got excited for a sec when i saw that reduced 10% i thought they sped the game up 10%... but no.

They finally updated so you get get EXP for the battle pass by playing the game, so why do you only get 10 EXP for winning and 5 EXP for losing when I need over 1,000 EXP just for 1 lvl

The experience you get just from playing it's negligible (you only get 10 XP), if you want to level up ONE time... you need 2k XP; you would need to play 200 matches, just to go up ONE level. So yes, it's still trash.

It's as if this guy doesn't know rest is a tiny dot of a hitbox inside Jigglypuff that's only active for one frame and then you get ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY frames of of LAG (3 seconds) afterwards- whether the rest was successful or not. Rest is no where near comparable to banana man move

Why do people always get this wrong, hitstop/hitlag is not hitstun I swear, whenever they drop a combo people will say it's because of the patch when in reality it's a skill issue

the input delay change is an actual joke, it just feels horrible to not be able to counter things even if you are actually fast enough
