@@David-nu6kw Man, I really wish Canada defeat Belgium tomorrow. They (Belgium)eliminated Brazil on The last Rússia WORLD CUP😑.

The crazy thing is that Phonzie was really only directly involved in 4 goals assist vs US assist vs Mexico THE goal vs Panama assist vs Panama David, Larin, Buchanan and Hoilett stepped up massively in the final round. I remember before the US game in Hamilton lots of them were saying "oh they don't have Phonzie they can't hurt us". Think many others are soon gonna realize we're not a one man team as well!

To be fair those were arguably some of our biggest goals though, but I totally agree with you. Canada has a lot of quality from back to front, with Johnston, Vitoria, Adekugbe and sometimes Laryea in the back with some other solid MLS talent in Henry and Miller, to Eustaquio in the middle with Hutchinson (and players like MAK and Ismael Koné), and obviously the terrific trio of Davies, David and Buchanan with Larin too, and then Hoilett and Ugbo as quality guys we can bring on when something isn't clicking. They might not be big names, but they are quality, I think we may shock some people in this World Cup.

Out of all the WC qualifying highlight videos I’ve watched, Canada’s stands out the most. Really opened my eyes to the quality of this side. Very good finishing! 🍁

The most enjoyable sporting journey I've ever been on. Will remember it forever. Can't wait for the World Cup.

As an Italian Canadian, I'm saddened by Italy's absence in world cup. On the other hand, I'm super excited about Canada's qualification and you can bet I'm 110% behind the best team we've ever had...by far. Due to large #s of Italian Canadians, I suggest the Italian team come over and play several games vs Canada across the country..Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver etc.. it will benefit both countries ... just saying...

What a ride! I was there in Edmonton v Mexico for that Canada win - probably the greatest Event I’ve been live!

Although I'll be rooting for the Netherands, been a big fan of them since WC 1998 I would like to see Canada progress far. Well done Canada for qualifying.

you canadians did well and u earned ur spot, but i have a huge concern for ur team and maybe one of u can answer this. have ur team even played any big team outside of ur country? did u go play germany or italy or spain, england, france, argentina, brazil? my point is if you have not ur players are gonna be in a huge disadvantage when u meet these big teams and won't stand a chance. from wat i was told canada is the only top 3 teams that have not played any big teams outside of their countries. if so you country needs to set up matches now! you need to understand their tactics the speed of the game at that level ect... playing concacaf is nothing in comparison to the top teams in the world, especially outside of ur country. because all will be tested outside. not sure if it's a money issue but everyone does this so hopefully u guys have something set up.

How ignorant are you? The majority of Canada’s team play on club teams in Europe. The rest play in MLS. Pretty sure none of these players work part-time at a hardware store. Team Canada is their part-time job lol and they expect to be paid more than peanuts when they’re POS federation president is rocking huge ass gold cufflinks at a press conference.

I saw one nice goal and one display of speed. The rest were just tap ins. Not gonna get chances like that with that much room against Belgium or Croatia. Based on these goals it looks like Canada played a counter attack strategy against the likes of El Salvador. That tells me they are an incredibly weak team.

They destroyed both Mexico and USA. What level does that make Canada? Canada scored the most goals in CONCACAF. They allowed the least goals. And they did it without their best player (Alphonso Davies) for most of the qualifications. You know nothing.

They have the best trainers and the best players... why do you think European players come to the MLS when they re about to retire and still perform extremely good although they re the oldest guys in the pitch?

@@TheAmanor123 Mexico and USA are full of european players especially forwards, and they all got owned, by Canada who have a lot of players playing in the MLS specifically in the defensive end of the field. That is right Canada's defense which has a good number of MLS players owned the USA and Mexico european based players. Pulisic was almost on the ground crying at the end of the game in Canada, because of how badly he got owned and bullied around by Canada's MLS players. If you look at it realistically and watch both the MLS and European leagues, you would realize that at the moment quality and talent wise the MLS is an extremely underrated league especially by europeans, which is why a lot of them end up being flops in MLS. Another example is how The US with two MLS center backs and one MLS goalkeeper who just signed for Arsenal contained a front line of Lozano, Corona, and Raul Jimenez to 0 goals in 2 games in qualifying.

Canada destroyed Mexico and USA. These are not “weak” teams. Unless you happen to be a supporter of one of the top flight European or South American countries, they are probably stronger than YOUR team.
