HARRY PETTER so much wasted potential. Shadow man and monty got built up so much on b03 with no real conclusion. Samanthas power was barely touched on. There is barely any sight of a keeper or apothican in b04 at all. We never saw the true power of the summoning key either. It’s unreal how much has been forgotten

I remember when my buddy called me and told me to finish the waw campaign to unlock a secret mode, now I just want to forget the ending.

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm so upset about the story, I've followed it's since the beginning and now it's over, I'll never forget the famous 4

I mean even the fact that we hear what they wanted to be gives us proof that they may still live on in a proper universe. Or, the smart idea, basically retcon the whole of bo4. Not necessarily retcon it, but fix the story. See, a easy way to make it where the Cycle repeats itself is make the richtofen that gave Nick the kranoreim a evil....er....richtofen that Monty controlled. I mean, I'd believe it. I'd also believe the kranoriem is a book that tells them how to continue the cycle. Who knows its origins? So many ways to revive the community for bo5...or black ops reboot.

I really think it sucks that the final cutscene of the Aether storyline, was animated. We have been following the story for so long and playing zombies for so long. And this was the end. Not a bad ending, but I still can’t go about not feeling disappointed.

No, this ending was a shit fucking ending. To close out a 10 year story with this animated garbage cutscene, and incomplete story is unacceptable. The sheer amount of plot holes that this story has, amazes me that it even made it out of the meeting it was discussed in. Treyarch has completely and utterly lost my respect.

BOTD ending was emotionally more impactful with Primis Richtofen in the mechanism. That needed to be adapted with the actual Aether ending we got

I never forgot any parts of this storyline and I have millions of unanswered questions. I paid super close attention to this story ever since the very beginning. This story will always remain a mystery

They built up the great war all to throw it to shit with the ending. Like I have so many questions including where Doctor Monty was during the last map. Like surely if he knew what primus, ultimis and victus were up to then surely he would have tried to stop it.

Guess activision didn’t give some people money to make 3D cutscenes, still comic style fits the vibe.

I remember when I was 8 years old and my uncle told me about waw zombies and I thought it was cool but scary. Never thought I’d be here 17 years old now and seeing the story end like this. It’s really neat but sad. I really wish I could go back in time and relive it and cherish the moment more. All good things must come to an end eventually, to bad it had to be this.

This is the most rushed ending to literally my childhood playing zombies after school everyday and this is how it all ends, nah. Someone remake the ending please.

Let's be honest, ever since WaW came out and bright us Zombies, we became so attached to it and it's story for so long. And our 4 main characters brought us Joy and laughter by their quotes and stories as well. We seem what they been through from WaW-Black Ops 4, and now they have their happiness. Instead of then living in the loop, they can finally be at peace. So thank you Treyarch for bringing us the BEST Zombies Storyline ever, and I do know this... NOBODY will replace Nicholai, Takeo, Dempsey, and Richtofen. ♥️

It was a fun ride while it lasted my friends. It is sad to see it end, but I'm glad it did.

I don't know if I'm the only one, but I really don't like the ending of zombies. I fell out with the zombies storyline after Black Ops, but I watched it nonetheless - combing the entire lore google doc. Black Ops 2's latter story was okay, but it wasn't the best. I didn't like the direction they took with the Primis Crew, or the Victis Crew. They complicated a story of something already so much so, and it isolated the player who enjoyed looking at the lore. I was happy with it being about the power-hungry Nazis trying to create super soldiers and super weapons, not with an overly deep story with layers of a multiverse. It was fun, and you could understand why these characters (Ultimis) were working with each other, despite being from different nations that were at war. When I looked and wondered about the story after Moon, I thought it would be a plot of revenge against Richtofen and maybe a trip back in time, as he once again tries to stop you. Looking to what we have now, I really only wonder - what the hell did this all lead to? A shoddy ending where everyone dies and no one survives, a huge cliche that in all honesty wasn't even surprising to me.

It’s crazy to think that I started playing zombies in call of duty black ops and 9 years later the story comes to the end

Aether storyline might be over... but correct me if I'm getting things twisted!!! When Sam told Eddy to look away before she shot Nicolai she had a german accent, german Sam wasn't an innocent "uncorrupted" soul by this point.. She'd been in the MPD, touched by aether, possessing powers, Even shooting Nicolai, etc... Eddy might be still an Innocent soul, but he has witnessed some very traumatizing things.. Who can really say that where ever they go from the dark aether won't be tainted by their presence prompting a different, but waggishly similar chain of events??? Will "Aether" reincarnate??? Also Why in the BLUE HELL is Eddy taller then Sam when they walkout of the dark aether, when he was shorter than her at the shooting scene?!? We need answers!!!!!!!

I really can't explain how much these guys mean to me. I mean, sure, it's a game, but it was my entire childhood. Played each game the day it came out since world at war. Some of the games were underwhelming, but this story meant more than I think it did for most people. I will forever remember these guys as if they were close friends. That is so crazy.

Dang I've played zombies sence the beginning it makes me happy to see them at peace but sad to know I'll never play as them again

While part of me is disappointed they didn’t animate the very last cutscene, a part of me is happy they didn’t. It’s hard enough to look at the all the characters just.... laying there dead. To see that in proper 3D animation.... I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t be able to watch honestly

Being a fan since world at war, the ending made me shed some tears, welp it was a great ride, glitching out of kino der toten, getting swarmed from the zombies only to be killed by myself, joking around with friends, getting mad at the teddy bear on the box, good times that will be missed.

Would you consider doing a video of your honest opinion of the Aether ending. The building up of the great war. Samantha having her powers back. A video of YOUR PERSONAL OPINION. Please? I always love to hear your insight. Was this a good ending? At the end of the day this is fiction and they could have wrote any ending they wanted. Do you think there should have been a great war map with primus and ultimus as playable characters or are you happy with only hearing about the great war in story mode and how they never win and the only way to stop it all was for our crew to kill themselves. Were you genuinely satisfied with this ending? I Would love to see you do a video on your perspective with this subject.

Where are we going from here? Where do we go?? Man just thinking of the lyrics and matching it to the ending of BO4 just adds so much more emotional punch.

So many unanswered questions why was richtofen pretending to be the one from blood? Why did dr.monty not do anything? Why did the shadow man not try to make Ultimis richtofen release him? Why did Samantha say she was going to fight the war and then go back to the house and kill Monty and burn it to the ground if that never happened? Why did Nikolai need his soul to defeat monty. What is the fate of the call of the dead crew? Why introduce zombie richtofen only to make him do nothing and get killed? I was expecting at least half these questions answered in the map but nothing disappointed

I'll answer your questions. Richtofen was pretending to be the one from blood because of element 115 where they have delusions and forget past events, hence why they didnt acknowledge richtofen in the mechanism. It's not that monty didnt do anything, he couldnt do anything. Since nikolai has his soul, monty cant just reset the cycle and replay the events for him to be alive. The shadow man didnt try to make zombie richtofen to get him out of the summoning key is because he planned this. It goes all the way back in botd, where he manipulates the warden to trap the primis crew, and getting richtofens blood therefore breaking the cycle. Nikolai needed his soul because richtofen is soulless as well as the other characters because their souls are in the summoning key. When richtofen read the book, he couldnt come to grips that he had to kill himself and his friends to get out of the madness, so he tried many things to be at peace without anyone dying. Since nikolai has his soul, he knows he has to do it, and hes a selfless person, so he decided to do it for the good of all. The call of the dead crew are in the aether now as well with everything else. Zombie richtofen helped the victis crew get the agarthan device so you cant say he didnt do anything. I hope that satisfies you and hope your questions have been answered

@@motomoto7342 Well think of the ending like this. The agarthan device is basically a genie inside a bottle. It basically grants one wish that you desire. Its explained in one of the radios inside tag der toten. The reason that nikolai killed themselves is because he realized that they couldnt get out of the cycle, no matter what they did, and monty knows that considering he put them in the cycle. So when they all die they're basically in the dark aether along with everything else. When samantha and Eddie walk to the light in the last part, all the characters said their wishes on what they wanted to do, and the agarthan device fulfilled then and now they live the lives that they wanted to have

This really hit me in the feels

Call of Duty Black Ops 4. You took the Zombies experience and changed it just enough so that some players will love the new perk system, aggressive zombies, crawlers that bleed out, and all sorts of changes, but left the original fans in the past. You made a Zombies Chronicles mappack for us that sold well and showed we would love more content like this. Instead you got lazy, greedy and just decided to make the entire main DLC season focused on a new storyline we're not familiar with, remakes in place of original content for a story that has been 10+ Years in the making, and a story that still somehow has loose threads and feels like it flows horribly together as a cohesive storyline. And now, I'm almost positive Zombie Chronicles 2 will just be the original maps from bo1 and 2 that we got in the DLC season this year and or didn't get in Zombie Chronicles 1. You wasted an entire season of DLC for Chaos and poorly executed plans to do remake after remake in place of unique and new content. They wrote the story to include the remakes. They decided to do an entire new story while an old, more beloved story was in need of love and attention from 3Arc but they cut themselves short by dividing up all this work. Black ops 4 ambitiously launched with 4 Zombie maps, and with a Blackout mode that held so much potential. They squandered it, and now Blackout has Pay2Win aspects in its formula, receives no new drop locations like Buried or Hijacked offered, is unbalanced and improperly supported in every way. Call of Duty Black Ops 4 is what happens when you give up on quality and A+ Effort. In an alternate timeline, Call of Duty Black ops 4 launched with a complete campaign that aimed to be like WaW, Bo1, Bo2 and supported like Fortnite is by Epic, with the original 4 maps being Blood of the dead, Classified and two others filling in for Victis or literally anyone else, playing like Black ops 2 or 3 in terms of gameplay, New perk machines and jingles, a focus on the original crew in order to end it all in the best way possible. Call of Duty Black ops 4 had the potential to bring Call of Duty back to the limelight, but it only managed to worsen our situation. Call of Duty Modern Warfare will be no different unless we play it safe and by ear. Respect Call of Duty the way it's meant to be respected as it had respected you when you were young. Bo4 zombies sucked and changed the meta. Bo4 Blackout got messy and Microtransactions killed it. Bo4 campaign never existed. Fuck Black ops 4, and fuck Activision.

Over 10 years of call of duty I played every zombie map. This is the end i get I’m heart broken. All those maps all those Easter eggs for this. I’m so happy for them they got what they wanted, there old lives back but what we wanted was to never see the end to keep playing till the moment comes where th end must happen but this early on no one wanted this. We wanted the end at black ops 6 or 5 but 4 was too soon. I’ll always remember the fun times I had doing the Easter eggs but I will never for get the amazing 4 the gods the believers. I only hope that they make more maps but with other characters. So atleast we can still enjoy all the fun times all over again.

It seems a little strange that alpha omega intro kinda teased what would happen in the 4th DLC. Also it look like everyone was poisoned.

not sure if anyone noticed, but if Eddie is Rictofen as a child, then the Origins end cut scene was actually after Eddie and Samantha walk through the light

This story is wack, honestly. The whole story just seems to want to include every single little thing from every zombies map ever and try to connect everything. Makes me sad. But again just my opinion

The part where the kids are walking toward the light is beautiful.

I think that the Great War everyone talks about already happened. The images you saw in AO intro, that's it: Primis always died in the great war, only to be reborn as Ultimis and the cycle perpetuates. Primis always and Ultimis always prevail.. I think the ending tied up quite well.

I cried at the end. I followed this series since world at war. All I want to say is. Thanks you cod zombies
