I’ll always remember the first time I played this game as a 9 year old girl and how I’ve followed through ever since. I’m 21 and I still have not played a game that impacted me so much. Just wish they could turn this into a literal movie or series someday or if I can buy this in a book series. Would be the best money I’ve spent.

I had never seen the last cutscene until now. It really breaks me how the tranzit crew was just consumed by darkness. Stuhlinger left with nothing to guide them, such a sad moment bruh, like, come on. It jus can't end like this I refuse

I can never forget how the devs decided that Nikolai would be the catalyst for change and to save the universe from continuously fracturing. His much more stable and mature Origins self was absolutely perfect for that role. His ending managed to pull a few heartstrings and especially talking about his beloved.

We all remember these terms: “REVIVE ME I HAVE THE RAYGUN”, “You have more points buy the door” those were the times

Okay, 40:02 and the whole ending of the story made me cry. Their efforts were not worthless, but in the end everything still got destroyed. This story was also confusing, yet it made sense in the end. The funny thing was that Nikolai didn’t play a huge huge role throughout the story, and at the end he played probably the biggest one. And he knew the truth about it all. 59:24 “We fought for what we wanted. We got more than we deserved. All the chapters of our lives, good and bad. Even if there was no witness, even if no one could have seen, it still happened, somewhere. We were always doomed to fail. Monty told us the truth. Our journey is the very reason this madness exists! We are the ones who fractured the universe.”

For real. I was like; “why is it only Richthofen time traveling?” Then at the end we finally find out that in order to fix the universe they have to kill themselves and erase everything as if they never existed Richthofen didn’t want that. He wanted a happily ever after, but that couldn’t happen.

I barely played zombies but the series has stolen my heart, and it got absolutely shattered seeing how everyone had to die. If there was a standalone game about the entire Aether story I would buy it without hesitation.

Seeing how all this tied together and how the hero’s went out was satisfying! All those hours spent with the crew has memorable. Thank you treyarch!

One day we’re having the time of our lives in a German Theater, the next we’re crying at the final chapters for the characters we’ve grown to love over the past 10+ years. I may not have played Zombies back in the day, but I’ve certainly known about it for a while and still feel like it was a part of my youth. It wasn’t until I was 12 when I finally learned about who Dempsey, Nikolai, Richthofen, and Takeo were, and I was obsessed with these 4 characters. Now I’m 15 and have been playing a lot of Black Ops Zombies with a long-time friend of mine and we are having a blast. It’s definitely fun to experience what it was like back in the early 2010s, and I hope that future generations could experience exactly what those before them have felt back in the prime of gaming.

Honestly I interpreted it the opposite. By holding onto those thoughts in death they ascended past the dark Aether and were put into the normal world like Eddy and Sam, but in place of what their wish was. No memory of the events. Nothing. It’s stated by several people in the lore that’s what the Agarthan Device does; grants your deepest desires.

Man. Seeing this video, reminded me of the first time, I played Black ops 1 zombies almost 11 years. I was afraid of zombies at first but playing the game was really fun. Wow - I am so happy I saw this ! 4 years late but I don't care. Powerful cutscenes that in 1 hour gave me mixed emotions and brought me back to my childhood. Nostalgic af. Nikolai is the GOAT !

I used to play zombies in middle school, this was a series I grew up with, a series that helped me make friends, and memories, and seeing it have a bitter end. Makes it sad but I'm so glad I got to experience it, one day I'll make my kids play through the story game by game like I did 😎

A new timeline started at origins and that was the end of bo3 then they found out about Monty and he helped them to set things right so they started killing the older selves cause they were corrupted then they kept blood goals which wasn’t supposed to be in the younger versions timelines so Monty sent them back in time but then they carried on from their fixing all of their mistakes till they were the only mistake left
