I think I see what went wrong. First half was largely quick passes. In the 2nd half and especially the 4th quarter, there's nobody ending their route within the first 8 yards of the line of scrimmage. It shifted to these long developing pass plays. The WRs are too mid to get open. Then because it took so long for the routes to develop, falcons started pressuring Bryce and his performance got worse and worse

Bryce Young, still developing. He 22. They made the 22 year old the NFC South (tuff division) Panthers Offensive Manager fresh outta college 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 . He don't even know where he at. Still learning where the Locker Room is
First NFL game regular season, STILL couldn't rattle him enough to keep him scoreless. Liking Carolinas chances rn with him. The defensive schemes are too mentally quick and complex for rookie QBs ofc... But it won't take him long to figure these coverages out tho at this rate, with more film study sessions. He sat in the pocket for seconds on a bunch of plays without finding an open receiver so I think it's a fair thing to question. I don't buy these people saying there was no one open either. In the NFL, no secondary can blanket all the skill positions for that long.
1. the receivers weren’t getting separation. Look at every time he threw away and ask yourself who was open. 2. anyone else see the flick of the wrist 52 yard bomb he threw. 3. Still wasn’t shook the entire game. He will study, he will figure it out. he’s probably just gonna have to squeeze things into tighter windows than he’s used to but that’s the nfl and that’s fine
