That Las Vegas Bowl vs ASU was an insult. You can’t put a 6-6 team against the 7th ranked team in the country. That matchup alone is reason enough to use as an example that the BCS was flawed.

completely agree, much like the Las Vegas Bowl, I would have rather watched UCF kick our ass, or vise versa, would have been a game, much better than the pathetic Auburn managed. BSU has been screwed more than once with a crap opponent for a bowl game

Richard Nixon dude it still is a broken system two group of 5 teams won out the last two years and didn’t even get considered for the CFP, what more could they have done, they should have a system with like 8 teams or one where higher seeds get a first round bye so more teams can be included, and at least be given a chance

Jonathan Dravis the anchors talked about upsets. Boise St has only 1 National Championship from 1980 and produce only like 50 NFL players. Keep being proud of beating trash Power 5 teams that can’t even make it to their conference Championship.

Mansa Musa I really don’t know why you are so bent out of shape, but whatever. Real quick: Boise State beat OU in 2006. OU won the Big XII that year. Boise State beat Oregon in 2009. Oregon won the PAC-10 that year. BSU beat Virginia Tech in 2010. VTech won the ACC that year. Boise State beat Georgia in 2011. Georgia lost in the SEC championship game that year. And hell yeah I’m proud of that program. They do more with fewer resources than anyone. They’ve built a culture of success while competing at the G5 level where teams are usually outclassed by the P5. Go Broncos!

I've been to Idaho and people exaggerate about potato farms being everywhere in Idaho, maybe in some parts, but where I was traveling I seen large steep mountains, rivers and forests and some really nice scenery with even some deep canyons with rivers running through it, a great place to visit with a badass football team in Boise State.

Arizona and Arizona State Oregon and Oregon State Virginia and Virginia Tech Washington and Washington State Boise State will beat you AND your rival, they won't discriminate

Been a Boise State fan for a long time now. Ever since they came to Georgia the first time in 2005. Even though we beat them bad, they somehow caught my attention. Glad I became a fan. Go Bronco Blue!!!!🤘

They had some crazy games against the Washington teams, especially 2017 in Pullman when they lost. That game was insane.

huge differences between the september 2009 oregon and the late season / 2010 oregon. lamichael james only got like 2 carries in that game and he was still the teams leading rusher. also in the 2008 game oregon was down to their 5th string qb they had to pull darron thomas's redshirt

Add 1 more: Boise State at Florida State. 36-31. Saturday August 31, 2019. Not just a win on the road, but they also had to change the location due to Hurricane Dorian. FSU, see you on the Blue in 2020!

As a true Oklahoma Sooners Fan, it still surprises me that Boise State stoll isn't in the Power 5 team at all. Seriously, they could either be in the PAC-12 or the BIG-XII and they probably would have made it to the playoffs more often. Or they could've just expanded the Playoffs WAY EARLIER

I swear its not a legit college football season unless Boise State is beating up on a team from Oregon.

howard baxter mwc are behind the AAC but are in front of C-USA , Sun Belt , MAC ... In my opinion mwc wouldn't be a good conference without SDSU, And Boise State . Without them they'll be a far less competitive conference

Here’s what I would’ve loved to see-Dabo Sweeney’s Clemson vs Chris Petersen’s Boise State. That would be a match for the ages. BSU deserves to be a Power 5 team, Big 10 at the least. Big 10 needs some real competition (this is coming from a Florida fan, and yes, I’m calling you out Michigan. You allowed over 100 points in 2 weeks against UF and OSU, and didn’t even make half of that, if not just over half. That’s embarrassing. And then we have BYU bearing Wisconsin and Iowa prison raping OSU. Where is the big 10, because they clearly don’t show up any more.)

It won't matter one bit unless they have a resume that stacks up with the top-ranked teams. It has been proven by the committee that a two-loss power-five team can make the playoffs if they win down the stretch. Yes, Boise can make the playoffs, but it requires a great schedule and help from other teams.

The playoffs were put in place so that a non power team would never make it and if one ever did they would have to have beat on multiple home and home games against a winning power 5 team not to mention 2 to 3 undefeated season resulting in multiple conference championships. Then if they are lucky enough to jump into a #3 spot the commity would most likely not even allow them in... it's kinda fucked up if you ask me.

Actually, you are pretty correct, however, I disagree with the fact it is messed up. Time and time again non-power-five teams that were said to be "for real" have been absolutely trashed by teams that play in conferences like the SEC. So, I am happy with the fact that the committee holds a high standard for them. The last thing that I and many other fans want is for an overhyped David vs Goliath matchup in the CFP to turn into an absolute beatdown. So, the committee has got it pretty darn right so far, in my opinion. BTW, why the world would they be ranked #3 and still be pushed out, barring an unreasonably close game down the stretch? The committee isn't rigged, they just take an objective look at the teams and pick the most deserving of the CFP.

They put a 6-6 asu against #7 bsu Jesus no respect for no good reason I mean this is post 2006 fiesta bowl. What more does a ptogram have to do its such a shame

The people in charge of the bowls didnt want the big names to get torched by us so they paired us up with supbar teams. We couldve competed with the big names easily back then, as we proved.
