@@violeta5331 1000% yes the bigger screen is absolutely game changing, when texting u get a keyboard now and it’s pretty solid or u can use voice dictation, the health sensors are way better, screen gets way brighter for outdoors use. Go for it if u can !

I did order a Series 8 Apple watch but did not want the cellular feature, as I have an Iphone 12 Max that I carry daily and returned the Apple 8 watch. This video help me decide on a lower series Apple watch, I liked the 5 series or SE model as a starter Apple watch. Thanks for the video.

I have the series 7 and it’s my first Apple Watch, I’m very happy with it :)

I've had the 5 since 2019 and it does everything I need it to. I only wanted to upgrade if they came out with a flat edge design, but since it will look almost exactly the same with the same exact functions I will ever need, then no. Apple is just slipping with the watch imho; it remains to be seen if they will come out with the body temp.

I agree I Have the series 4 and I’m not upgrading anytime soon since it’s my first Apple Watch that I got at the end of last year.

Very informative review ! Am planning to get an Apple watch series 4 as a first smartwatch( refurbished). If I get used to it, I’ll then buy S7 or S8.

im still using the Series 1, would love to go for a series 8 or even the ultra, i personally really like the look of the ultra and the extra features, ruggedness and especially the double battery life are a nice to have

Bought an SE 2022 44mm. I am.a first user so went a the Milanese bracelet which looks quite smart. Why by the braided loop when the Milanese is the same price and will last longer?

I agree with you honestly, unless you have a three or below, there is no need to upgrade! 🤩

12:20 This is the first I'm hearing the S6 processor is the same as the S5, even though Apple says it's 20% faster. You said iFixit confirmed that the S6 and S5 have the same processor in their teardown, but I watched iFixit's teardown video and read their article and couldn't find this information. I'm not sure which journalists you're referring to, but according to MacRumors, Notebook Check, and articles from tech sites, I couldn't find any information indicating the S6 and S5 are the same processor, either. Could you send me your source for that bit because I want to know what you're referring to. Unfortunately, you also didn't mention that the Series 6 also added faster charging, 5GHz wi-fi (useful for overall wi-fi experience) and the always-on altimeter (useful for hikers), which the Series 5 doesn't have. The Series 5 is a great watch but I think these features in the Series 6 are still worth mentioning.

His videos do have some misinfo. The s7 was the same as the s6 in processing speed only big notes are faster charging and bigger display

I’m still rocking my Series 1 and don’t plan on upgrading. It doesn’t lag too much and does everything I want.

I have series 7 45mm and depends on what series 8 has to offer has the selling point I might just get the series 8. If it got bigger screen I would get it . Less of the health stuff would be nice , longer battery life be nice . I do like the series 7 but looking for the newest one.

You basically ranked it in chrono order so it means nothing. The series 4 is easily S tier, you can pick one slightly used up for a few bucks and it will support WatchOS 10, and it looks exactly like the new SE.

I have a series 4 from 2019 it’s on 85% battery Health, works perfectly doesn’t lag, lasts all day, no reason to upgrade at all

When is os 9 beta 4 coming out?

I am still using the series 2 I got 6 years ago for my birthday. I am considering the ultra.

A bias review… Series 6 should be A or S, because SE is cheap but has less sensors than 6. The only big difference from 6 to 7 or 8 is just screen size. And, SE doesn’t have greater spec from 6.

My son is going to buy me an Apple Watch,I don’t need latest and greatest,and it can be refurbished.I’m on Sprint,TMobile,so for best,cheapest most reliable watch should it be the series 5 SE?

7000 Series is not a generational indicator its the type of aluminium used.

Should i wait till the watch 8 comes out or should i get the 7 and also thanks because now i have a reason to get a new Apple Watch beacuse the watch os version wont be available

If you’re in a hurry, buy the series 7 or the SE, which is a great option. If you want the latest and the greatest, wait for the 8. It all depends on your interest and your budget.

I'm still using my series 1. I did try to upgrade to the SE but returned it due to the inconsistency of the ambient light sensor. It gets dim during dawn & dusk which made reading the time and complications difficult. Kinda frustrating why the brightness cannot be permanently set, the watch still auto adjusts after setting the brightness levels.

It can be permanently set. You have to find the setting in the brightness thing tho. There is an option to turn off auto brightness

I really like that it has GPS and Compass capabilities. It's great to have the compass on my wrist when I'm driving because CarPlay doesn't show a compass on the home screen. (Just in the maps app) (If you're in the maps app, you can't see your music controls) The Ultra 2 also does the assistive touch controls with clench and tap. I think everything from the 4 and up can.

I’m trying out Apple Watches for the first time so I went for the s3 because it’s very cheap. If it’s not for me I’ll probably upgrade so the s4 or s5 but from looking at specs and videos it doesn’t seem like it’s a bad first time smart watch to have and I feel like I’ll be satisfied with it since I’m not a new tech chaser lol.

Not supported for software updates. The watch should still work fine, just no new software improvements

I got a series 4 for free from a friend of mine and definitely don’t plan on upgrading. My watch before this was a 70$ refurbished garmin and anything is leagues better than that

If you’re trying to budget the SE is the way to go but if you want something that you won’t regret then get the ultra it’s a great watch

I believe for the 3 its an iPhone 6 or newer. So iOS 12 or newer, you're in the green.

not really a big deal. but i do disagree on your choice to put 6 in B under the se1 that you awarded A. just dont understand that decision really. the se1 and still 2 both do not have blood oxygen

The series 2 and series 1 have the same chipset, that’s why they got same Update history… The only difference was that they slow down the chip for the series 1 a bit (that’s why the series 1 has better battery performance) and gave it another name but basicly it was the same chipset… Next to that the whole list makes no sense at all cause you just rank them after the year it cames out which helps nobody at all, I mean nearly anybody can count till 10 so your list makes no sense… The only ranking what’s makes any sense is the rating after software cause any Apple Watch is still useable till today, even the very first one and with the fact in mind that those watches exists in pure gold editions too it’s selfexplaining that this will not change in the next years… In the last years I owned a lot of watches and next to many tracker there was an Apple Watch one (first watch), after that a series 2, then a 4, after that a 5 or 6 (not sure anymore but always on an feature so one of both), then I changed to an tracker again and now I bought a couple of days ago a series 3 cause was just crazy cheap and runs perfectly fine… And what should I say, it just do all the important stuff I need and what even the first Watch already does time (of cause), heartrate, steps, weather, phone remote, Musik remote, Apple TV remote, camera remote, paying with Apple Pay (yes, even the very first watch cam still do this), read and answer messages and phonecalls, navigating and so on… So what’s realy important for people are when just software, features (sometimes the same), watchfaces, price and maybe the performance on some less people’s… what’s not really should be a thing for anybody who has at least checked out one fitnesstracker cause not a single tracker has a noticeable better performance as even the slowest Apple Watch, so it’s just wrong to say that a single Apple Watch is unusable anymore cause that’s just not the case… Even a first Apple Watch for 50$ is a way better deal as any Apple Watch ultra clone for 50$ so how can you even talk about something like „unusable“ when new devices out of the box are much worse then any Apple Watch which exist? So sorry but it’s really a pretty useless video and just shows how boring this device (overall) becomes to you, maybe you should not make videos about something your are not really interested in like comparing Apple Watches cause you buy always the new one when it comes out… So maybe your just not the right person to talk about usefull things when any Watch becomes useless for you after you bought the new one… But I allready had even newer Apple Watches and I am pretty happy with the 3rd gen in 2023 so even over a year after dropping Softwaresupport cause the watch just works fine and that for just 50 (€ in my case but it’s just a bit less in $ I think 45$ should it be) and that’s in any case a way better user experience as with any Fitnesstracker for this money…
