@@StephaG0908 yeah ofc! 1. learn basic piano, and learn how to read piano sheet music, if you learn that, it’s easy 2. Listen to lots of music and make yourself familiar with sounds of instruments and techniques commonly used 3. Make friends in the class and your teacher, if the class is fun (it should be super fun lol) it will be a piece of cake 4. Learn basic music theory (major vs minor keys, circle of fifths/fourths, intervals, and chords (they are taught in the class but the more you master these, the easier it gets) 5. If you play an instrument, attempt playing by ear, this will help you a lot with melodic and harmonic dictation (frq 1, 2, 3, and 4) Don’t sweat it, Ap music theory is really fun and easy if you pay general attention. The curriculum is not that hard and you will have plenty of time to study and prep for the exam. It’s super fun and practical and you get to jam out to a lot of songs. Took the class last year and scored top of my school with a 5 on the exam, was the most fun class I have ever taken.

My AP Seminar class was just great conversations that had nothing to do with anything important

I'm 41 years old. I took like 8 APs in high school, ended up with mostly 5's on the exams. Then ended going to a college that didn't take any of the credits. The story of my life. LOL. I haven't thought about this stuff since 2001. What the hell happened? The AP courses blew up in number! Why????

In one chem class I had, we deliberately applied the flame of a bunsen burner directly to the tabletop. The reason was to see the area around that spot fog up, demonstrating that water is one of the byproducts of combustion.

This is the same as my AP physics teacher except he just ranted about communism

I remember not long ago when I was in High School and I was gearing up to go into my senior year and I had the option of either taking Honors physics or AP physics. I ended up choosing Honors Physics and not AP (At the time for some reason I didn't think the added difficulty was worth the AP credit, I've not been the brightest I guess xD) and I wanted the extra GPA points that the Honors class afforded. In the end the Honors physics class turned to be a joke with most of the material being covered in me engineering class or I already had a pretty good knowledge from previous online adventures, easy A+. However, all my friends in AP Physics were suffering, I can't decide if I dodged a bullet or missed out on a really interesting class 💀)

APAH was the best. Although I haven’t seen most of the artworks in real life I have gotten to see a lot of them and even more similar ones by artists you learn about in the course because I live near New York City

AP lit really wasn’t that bad for me, but I haven’t gotten my score back so it could’ve really just been terrible. The main thing I learned is to just not be timid in my writing. Good luck in your future APs!

interesting, they definitely added some weird ones since i took ap classes. i also don't think it was french language and culture back then...just french language. can't remember any cultural component on the exam. i was the only one in my school who passed it, and i only got a 3 lol

After just taking AP Chem, I can say that the AP Chem one was not at all accurate, in fact we never set things on fire and like one sub topic in chemical reactions was about combustion so not really much setting things on fire.

Nah man, in our class the teacher overloaded wires during electrochem starting an electric fire. During IMFS the we accidentally lit a piece of magnesium on fire. During thermochem someone set a styrofoam cup on fire with a hot piece of metal, and even during acid and base equilibria I accidentally hyper-oxidized a liquid and it combusted, breaking the glass it was in. We don’t talk about how many people broke glassware with burners too, or spilled acid. It sounds like our class was a mess, but we were good at chemistry 💀
