    Notice how all these tribes live in harmony with and in deep respect for the nature that surrounds and nourishes them? We'd all be better off living like that, and there'd still be hope for our planet.

    Māori aren't one unified tribe, instead a collection of a bunch of tribes under the same classification of Māori, also, and an act of burying a body is not called urupā, an urupā is a cemetery, in my opinion, the correct term is tangihanga, a mourning stage, so, yeah, just some info

    But the clicks are part of the San language. They are just a part of the phonemic inventory. And they form words from those. That's why the communicate so precisely. They just use words and language as every other human being. The Nguni people like Zulu and Xhosa also have those clicks sounds that are in their words and language

    i personally likely dont have the reaction time or coordination to speak click languages but theyre so interesting! its fascinating how click languages are superior to words in an environment such as theirs (if that sounds insensitive in some way im sorry my brain doesnt brain too well) - you cant mishear clicks or pops like you can with verbal communication. god i love other cultures, its so cool to learn about them, especially ones who have such a rich and unspoken history

    The Sami are not indigenous to the northern reaches of Scandinavia, the Indo Europeans and eastern hunter gatherers lived there before the Sami. Not like it really matters because the Sami are pretty much entirely ethnically Nordic at this point.

  • @kingofnuggets7304

    @kingofnuggets7304

    Proto-Indo-Europeans lived in the Eastern European steppes , Southwestern Russia and parts of Ukraine , not Scandinavia , the Sámi were there before them , and also , nobody is indigenous by your logic because people came from somewhere , the "indigenous" people that you just mentioned have their roots in Africa ( just like every other Homo Sapiens on Earth ) , and the original Homo Sapiens from Africa took the land away from the earlier humans , who took it away from the Australopithecus , who took it away from something else

  • @TheLonesomePagan.

    @@kingofnuggets7304 no the Sami we're not there before the indo Europeans or the native hunter gatherers, in fact the first people there were the Neanderthals which would constitute as European. The indo-europeans eventually moved into Scandinavia and mixed with the hunter-gatherers who had already mixed with the Neanderthals, than the Sami later migrated to modern-day Finland. That's why finish is a fino uric language but meaning of its root words are in nature. Also the out of Africa theory is out dated.

    Hi there! love ur vids and channel and how well the edutainment is done in an easily digestible way! I just wonder if you'd plan to make a mini-series of sorts exploring more native communities/tribes such as the many living in north America to us Aymara and Mapuches living in the south of America? tho I'm not forcing ofc! just thought it be cool since there are so many cultures and really not a lot of people who know our peoples still exist and aren't "extinct" so to speak =)

    BRO IM FROM NZ, WHO TF REBURYING THE DEAD?? sounds like some south island stuff! 😂 seriously, epic video and yes the maori part is accurate. A couple vital bits missed were the fact that the country was regional for tribes and had multiple meeting houses (marae) and each have the urupa for burying family members in the line, which results in it being a graveyard for ancestors. My urupa at my marae holds my grandparents, greats, uncles, aunts and more (including my older sister who died at birth) 😊
