Everton 3-2 Leicester was my Goodison debut. I also went to the 4-3 loss to United, but the best of the lot was Spurs. My first night game - the atmosphere was electric and I've never felt emotion like I did when our 3rd went in, given what was at stake. If they'd played like that all season they'd have been champions, easily.

I have always thought about a game Rooney played vs Chelsea whilst with Everton. I remember Rooney COMPLETELY DOMINATING the game and hitting the bar but just couldn't score. And Chelsea ended up winning against the run of play. However, the highlights in this videos doesn't come remotely close to what I remember watching.

1:48:02 At the end of the season review back then at moyes said an important quote which was the fans beileve there is something there which is about to happen and in 2004/2005 my god did something happen, champions league quafication which was unreal and it was just the best everton premier league season ever.

You qualified for the chance to play in the tournament and bottled that chance Vs Villarreal. You did not qualify for the CL

@@antcunningham1997 A great season for the toffees mate. Shame to see the owners now treating the club the way they are. Not fair on the fans at all

@@TheMazBow its deeply saddening to see how unstable and how bad of a state the club is now, the owners are horrible, they need to do one, cause things will soon become completely out of control. And I worry that the championship is exactly where Everton could be heading thanks to years of incompetent spending on transfers, not all of them but most of them

Never known Naysmith involved many goals. Good player, not so good defender.
