Great chelsea team. Cudicini amazing in goal.. terry gallas upcomming stars with lampard. Hasselbaink and gudjohnsen great strikers.

These were the season where we played good football, but were hopelessly inconsistent..so frustrating, but then again, it was and is part and parcel of being a Chelsea fan. The problem with this team was that there wasn't a strong midfield. Petit was supposed to come in shore up the midfield, but he seemed pretty past it at that point. Frank was till young, but the likes of Morris, Jokanovic and Dalla Bona were hardly going to set the world alight. The fact that Zenden and Stanic were so injury prone definitely didnt help. Our strike force at the time was top notch, Jimmy and Eidur were superb.

I am fans chelsea from indonesia since 10 years old. I love this team from gullit era (glenn hoddle the manager) vialli era (we won many europe and local domestic cup) and come zola from napoli ...and the hallsebaink from spain become EPL topscorer untill now the Roman era....i remember chelsea have many foreign players in line up and just le saux and then come terry or morris or charlton cole (from youth) and lampard (from west ham) come up as england players....chelsea is not tiny club but big club with many domestic and europe cups from ken bates era until now

Its a crazy partnership they had.. hasselbaink was the second best striker chelsea had after drogba. Costa was insane to but i think hasselbaink was just abit better.
