Some of the most beautiful lyrics I've ever heard. And I used to write my own for my progressive metal band. "Perfect Symmetry"(myspace) from Syracuse, NY. BTW.

A song like this is vivid proof that music from Evergrey has lifted me up endless times emotionally, throughout the years, time and time again... Eternally grateful to this band, 👍 if you agree 🤘

This band is one of most under etimated band in the metal music. For me they play a different kind of metal it's emotional metal. They should not play in clubs but in stadiums. This is pure musical genius

I remember hearing this when I was living with an ex of mine. We lived together for 6 months before I moved out. I really wanted things to work out and she didn't. This came on one night when her and I were coming home from work and I remember crying my eyes out. I won't get into all the details about it. Recently I've been trying to remember what song it was and finally did. This is truly a beautiful song and will always have a deep place in my heart.

One of the most beautiful, moving and heartfelt songs Evergrey has written! I ❤ their heavy riffs and progressive tunes, but the passionate, emotional melancholy of some of their ballads is downright moving.

this song could be hands down their best tune ever ..not to mention the record itself could be their finest work.. tracks like Someday & Distance..this track alone is so deep, toms vocals have definitely taken a step forward. this video is amazing. the emotion in the waves, the color in the sky..Carina standing on a hilltop & Tom looking at her from the beach. mixed in with the music absolutely stunning! Patric Did a fantastic job with this project.. this is becoming a top 5 Evergrey video for me.. For Every Tear that falls is a classic! As Is King Of Errors.. EVERGREY FUCKING RULES!!!!!!

Absolutely beautiful. I love Evergrey, and this song is a masterpiece. They harmonize so well. This is the perfect video for this song; the mood, atmosphere and visual imagery that helps to illustrate the message of desperation and loss amid the bleak hope portrayed. I couldn't imagine a better video for it. One of my favorites in a long time.

This can save lives. Geez, I'm ashamed I spent so long without knowing your band, I'll listen to the album trilogy in a roll while working here.

An epic and painfully human ballad!! I am thankful today for Evergrey and their emotionally-charged songs.. This video is incredible. From the choreography/location to the atmosphere, this is the most impressive and heartwrenching Evergrey creation I've seen since first seeing "For Every Tear That Falls" video back in 2000. Mano, essa banda é incivel, a voz do Tom é fantastica, mas a Carina é simplesmente a melhor voz feminina que ja vi numa banda, pena so encontrar poucas musicas com ela no vocal.

Carina and Tom..! what can I say..! They are a wonderful and powerful duet with the strongest feeling of melancholy that I had never heard. Great.

This song will always hit deep. From losing someone who was very close in my life due to cancer, losing my Grandmother due to Alzheimer's and fighting darkest of dark times due to my fight with alcohol addiction. I always turned to this song to find strength through it all. Evergrey will always be a band that I take to heart!

Gotta love Evergrey...they can really sell a ballad! Another great song.
