Everest windows avoid at all costs.

7 months ago we fitted Everest double glazed windows in our house. Thinking we were fitting the best! Little did we know that as soon as the fitters had left the troubles began. 20 year warranty means nothing at all. 7 months have passed and every time it rains out oak floors and new plaster gets ruined. They have cancelled numerous times to come and even assess the job. Won't use local trades and insist on using trades from 150 miles away!!!

I totally agree. I spent 18k on 7 windows, 2 doors and patio. Installed 2019, had them out 5 times on kitchen, front 2 bedrooms, back door and patio. Patio door creaks and groans in slightest breeze. Nothing is correctly installed or sealed. Next step will be trading standards then I'll take them to court.
We had our windows fitted in the whole house last December and our experience is exactly the same. Absolutely terrible installation, 7 attempts to get it sorted and I had to threaten them with legal action to make them come and fix it. We are still fighting and expecting another visit tomorrow. This is an absolute AVOID brand. This is not a one off issue, our friends had exactly the same experience.
Its both..i think safestyle got a company to make windows cheaply and passed them of as their own..it looks like they made a tidy profit out of it too
I think it's more down to the fitters not the windows.

It's the product. I was a service engineer for Everest, and in my whole 40 years of working in the trade, I'd never seen such a terrible product. They had a quick turnover of fitters, I was there for two years. They use the Duraflex window profile, but it's made to their spec. They also use the standard Duraflex profile for their cheaper range, which is actually better than their premium product. I've just learned they've gone into receivership.
I feel very upset when i see this as i have had mine done by safestyle and it cost me £9,200 for 2 bay windows and one bay has collapsed due to no support pole being put in to keep it up..i feel like im sitting outside on the grass as its so drafty and noisy but yours look atrocious..gies to orove safestyle and everest employ bad fitters and probably subcontract to cheap window frames that is wht its a combination of both . I had a bew composite front door put in 4 months aho at a cosy of nearly £4,000 and when is hot i cant go out as if i do..i cant get back in..i was locked out for 3 hours when i came back from the vet..it was very hot and my cat overheated in his basket..

You should use a local company. The bigger the company, the worse they are. I've worked in the trade since 1979, so I know my stuff.
