@@TheStu9000 It was another trailer from this game apparently although I could be mixing it with a different one. Though it does like imply there's more to this game than meets the eye and also has a robot talking to the player about a simulation.

Just your typical cozy farming sim directed by M. Night Shyamalan

The devs saw those fake mobile game ads with the Pokemon - esque game with horror twists and like, "Okay, what if we make that kinda game but it's Stardew?"

This game looks more interesting than other farming sims but I kinda don’t like the character models. The environment and everything else looks fine to me though.

I don't know why people always say a farming sim is a Stardew clone when even Stardew was inspired heavily by previous farming games. It's a decades-old genre at this point. Doesn't mean everything's trying to be Stardew.
