I’m very intrigued by it, but aside from coons and rabbits we don’t really have anything to hunt with hounds. Thank you.

Only if they were caged in and fought, then he dogs wouldn't have a chance. But dogs don't work that way... they harass, intimidate, and exhaust an animal. No dog is gonna charge in head up with a bear to get shredded. They dodge and feint, and nip when they can.

From thar hight I highy dought that a dog would get hurt. But hey I don't shoot bear so in not so into bear physics. I just don't like seeing animals panicked to almost death before getting killed. Has to beba cruel way to go. Although on the other hand pray can suffer excruciating pain from other animals that basically eat their prey alive. Doesn't the meat get less tastefull when killing a stressed bear? It's a hot topic and I'm glad we can hsve a discussion .

I’m all for hunting, but l hate hunters who use packs of dogs. A friend in VA had a hunt club that would release dogs on the edge of his family’s property, the dogs would run across the family land, and the ‘hunters’ would wait on ‘their’ land for anything that came running through. Real sporting. Want to kill a bear? Take your rifle, shotgun or bow and go hunt it. Running it down with dogs is not hunting. If anything use the dogs to rustle up feral hogs and do some good for the area by killing a few hundred of them every few months.
