thank you so much for this video! I had such trouble installing this seat with just reading the directions, you helped a lot in just the first 4 mins! I had no idea why the teether straps were not long enough to connect to the latches.. I was loosing my mind! but it makes sense now the strap was in place for forward facing not rear as I need. thank you thank you !

Hi! I have this car seat and can't install it with the seat belt properly, it moves side to side, I have a chevrolet colorado pick up truck and Im supposed to lock the seat belt with a clip, but I can't get tight enough... do you have any suggestions? Or video? Thanks!

Happy I got this on sale. Love the color but most importantly the safety features. Easy to install. Comfortable for my child. Double cup holder is a plus! I will always get this car seat for my kids & it’s nice watching them grow with it since it’s 4 in 1.

1. Children should rearface until they reach either the height or weight limit for rearfacing in car seat manual, (ideally until about 4 years old). Children's bones are still not hardened until around 4 years old, sometimes even later, and in the rearfacing position, the childs spine is cradled by the seat during impact. This is why it's best practice to rearface until one of the limits is reached. 2. A towel roll is allowed by the manufacturer to achieve a level install. DO NOT stuff a loose towel under the seat as shown in this video. the towel should be tightly rolled and taped in several places to keep it tight. It should be placed where the back rest and seat meet. 3. This seat is not a user-friendly install due to the base design causing leveling issues. For this reason, this seat is not on the recommended list by car seat techs. So, it's a good idea to have a carseat tech check for a correct instal, especially with this seat.

Does it easily move from car to car?

Do u have to take the red insert pad out after they turn a certain age. Or can it be left in for extra comfort??? My daughter turned 4

That’s an infant insert, so a 4 year old would too big for it.

It's optional rearfacing, and not allowed forward facing

When you used it forward facing did it also tilt? I have one and as far as we can see it doesn't, 💁‍♂️

You have to manually set it to the recline required for forward facing

This is too expensive of a car seat to need to put a towel underneath. other brands have solved this issue

I hope you can have your video guy to take the video for you. It's hard to watch it while you're installing and filming

"rearfaces up to one year". Children should rearface for a *bare minimum* of 2 years. It's not about size, it's about bone maturity and ossification of the vertebrae to protect the spinal cord and prevent internal decapitation! Best practice is to rearface to the maximum limits of the seat's rearfacing abilities.

Don't forward face that baby the law is 2yrs old n 40lbs who ever told you 1 gave you bad info

Rear facing until 1.. are you kidding me. So much more unsafe.

@@cuttie4christ Doesn't matter.. even 2 years ago it was known that rearfacing that early is way less safe, despite the "law." Even for a 2 year old it is not as safe as rear facing...
