Been waiting for these

It feels a bit of a shame that they've taken down or replaced all prior versions of the mod, including the 'Anniversary Edition' & releases for Custom Edition. I really enjoyed playing Canyon+ with the Halo 2 SMG & the M6C Pistol on Combat Evolved's animations, plus I had my hopes of seeing where else I could inject them into myself if I ever got to grips with Halo's modding tools (The CE+ Halo 2 SMG would fit snugly into Truth & Reconciliation as a starting weapon or "side-arm" option, plus a "H:CE Pistol without the Scope" would be a fun spin on things or addition to the mix, especially if I wanted to sneak in the AR+GL & Battle Rifle elsewhere). Hopefully, VKMT or the CE+ Project Leads will provide a more up-to-date Source Files release for them (One can still be found on ModDB, but it was last updated in 2021), assuming it's not all presently tucked away in Discord servers like much unfortunately is, these days. Nevertheless, getting the Brute Shot up & running in Halo: CE, adding the Digsite arsenal and giving the Gravity Gun a centre-point on it's cross-hair is sure to make my return trip through Canyon+ even more of a downright treat than my last couple of runs with the prior 'Anniversary Edition' version. And I'll just say it right now; perhaps besides the one as seen in AltSierra117's Pre-Release MacWorld + Xbox, Halo has never had a better Battle Rifle than this one! Maybe even a better DMR than this one! One can only hope that the mod can otherwise see it's primary multiplayer component be enjoyed by more than organised parties for both Xbox (OG Hardware or Emulation) & MCC sometime in the future. Speaking of AltSierra117's Pre-Release MacWorld + Xbox, that one could be worth a revisit, as it's recent Steam Workshop release has seen a wealthy amount additions, particularly from the Digsite assets ranging from Chief's armour to hand-held weapons & even vehicles.

Idk if this is possible but I think something that would also be cool is the addition of mark iv and Orion armor to both multiplayer and when playing the new missions with friends. Or even just using the multiplayer Spartan as the campaign player model that way it differentiates the players. I like the former better because seeing Orion im the style of combat evolved being playable would be cool along with mark iv despite possibly needing an entirely custom model made for it
