Reason you're doing the DPS that you're doing is because you're in a Wolf-Rayet hole, it boosts damage of all small weapon sizes. Since Rapid Light missiles shoots... light missiles, it gets the bonus as well.

Dscan before you combat probe. Get them right to the end of your dscan at 5deg then put the combats on them. Have the combats pre launched and way out of dscan range

56 is good for combats it’s a different scale. Expand the position of each one of your probes positions so that they’re making a small overlap just around the arrow box in the middle. That way the probe itself as far away from the center and has more range that it is covering with the overlap in the middle

If you carry 16 probes your probe launcher will fully reload on its own after launching probes and be ready to relaunch next time. The combat probe strength is a trick of the range. Combat probes show as having half the strength but they also have double the range. If you set your combat probes to 0.5 AU and Core Scanners at 0.5 AU they will scan the same (albeit with higher scan deviation.) But Core Scanners can go down to 0.25 AU while Combats cant, likewise Combats can go to 64 AU range while Core Scanners can't. The best thing to do is to use your dscan to find a ship while keeping your combat probes from getting dscanned by your target. Go to the far end of the system so you are off dscan and drop them there. Then go back and use your dscan to narrow down the location of the target as best as you can before you even start combat probing and you will limit your targets chance to see your probes. You can reduce the range of your dscan by a little bit at a time to pinpoint the range, then use the angle while moving your camera around to get a fix on the direction. Takes some practice but you can get people dscanned down far enough you can combat probe them with a single probing. If you double click on a signature in the probe window it will center the scanning window on that signature making it easier to move your probes to it. It's easier to position your probes while looking straight down and side on from your target (that's what the buttons on the lower right hand corner of the map window are for) but you can also double click anywhere in the map window to toggle the view from straight down to side on and vice versa.

@@EaglefireflyGaming Yup that's exactly what you do. The tighter you can get the dscan on them the more confident you can be that they are in that small spot and can focus your probes there right away.

About your combat probing comment. Your Sister Combat Probes do only have half the probe strength as Sister Cores, but that strength is measured at the smallest possible probe size. For Sistere Cores that is 0.25 au, and for combats it is 0.5 au. If you increase your Probe size, for every step of increase the probe strength halves, so at the same size, you had to increase the Sister Cores one time more than the Combats, and as a result the actual strength you get is exactly the same. The only realk difference is that Sister Combats can't go to 0.25 au, but they warp faster than cores. This means that if you don't care about alerting possible enemies/victims, then the Sister Combats are slightly better, only if you can't scan something only then swtiching to Cores is usefull. If you care about not giving yourself away tho, I would suggest scanning with Core Probe Is. Way to many people will think that you are a newbro T1 explorer, and the actual difference in scan strength is only 10%. Also the ingame fitting tool reports your DPS ignoring the reload Times. You DPS with it is a lot lower (with all 5 skills and kinetic rage lmls it is 317).

Some really epic points in here thank you. Especially the tactic about t1 probes. Like that one. I suppose I only really need to scan down the anoms..its only if the ship is in a safe I need combats? Also the dps thing, I thought it was the other way. Did you get that from pyfa?

@@EaglefireflyGaming Yeah exactly, only in safes you absolutely need combats. There is some cases where combats are sometimes usefull when you can't warp directly to someone like gas sites. where they are sitting in the cloud and moving, and you can't get to them because the cloud would decloak you. For most other sites you can warp in on the sig (0 for non combats, 100 for combats, doesn't quite always not delcoak you) and make a bookmark when landing. Then warp to the ping and back to a Can or Large Collidable Object. Yess, I did get that number from pyfa ;)

@@larynxaustrene3073 brill gonna give this a try next time might get some decent success with this. I was gonna also bookmark the wormhole pipe with a pacifier and then run through it in the tengu. Might be counter productive though as I dont really have an alt to do it. Not covops anyway as they are alpha. Also I am still tinkering with the fit, I did try heavy assaults but I cant get the damage to apply on frigates like rapid lights so I guess its finding a balance. Wondering whether half rack of heavies and half rack of rplights might do it. Not sure. Thanks again 😁

2 Minutes into the Video and i'm not sure if you know what Alpha Damage really is, because Rapids are all about burst damage, not alpha damage. The Algos got wrecked that fast because the pilot ejected, you saw his pod on scan, meaning no active modules and no skills to boost the ships survivability Calling this "Solo PVP" is kind of insulting to everyone doing halfway decent pvp. Guess being honest in the Title doesnt generate clicks.

Hi! Thanks for watching and commenting. Alpha damage is the amount damage done in a single volley as raw hp damage. The end result is raw hp damage less resistances and signature radius. Also speed plays a role when using missiles due to an explosion radius calculation. In this situation the damage was full raw alpha strike damage due to no active modules. I conv'd the person afterwards and he ejected because he was lost. I later transferred him some isk to help him with his journey. Also, I have since this video much more content and I was solo pvp hunting. So it absolutly is solo pvp and I do not intend to insult anyone. But! Thanks for this 😁

Burst damage or burst dps is often used when ur dealing with a weapons with significant non-damage phases such as reload. The burst damage or burst dps then is the dmg or dps you do prior to being forced into reload. Btw you can see that in the stats - you got two dps values ;-)

When I first started this game someone randomly gifted me 20 mil ask after killing my frigate and it basically kept me playing the game for the next 5 years.
