EVE Online: Planetary Interaction Guide For Big Isk

Ойындар

Hi everyone, I thought that I would share my planetary interaction setup for robotics within EVE Online.
I make on average of 1 billion isk passively a month with P3 manufacturing on just one character so I hope you find this video useful in setting up your P3!

Thanks for the video. I've been slowly getting into PI and your setups seem quite efficient. Up until now I've been trying to do as much as I can on single planets but now I see the advantage of setting up specific ops on individual planets. Thanks again!

Nice video very informative but there are a few points I would like to make: 1. if you hold CTRL while clicking on the building it will start building a link you then release CTRL and click on the building you want to link and it will create a link. 2. on your production planet it is better to have a ratio of 4/1 of P2 to P3 advanced industry facility's so two creating consumer electronics and the other two creating mechanical parts to each facility creating robotics this is because to create robotics you need ten of each P2 but the facility's only create five each so its a good ratio and no time is wasted. I would take of the two bottom robotics facility's and change them to one creating consumer electronics and one creating mechanical parts this is so you have the robotics facility's always working and none waiting for more resources. 3. I would also suggest moving the buildings together closer so the links are shorter and require less cpu/pg and gives you more freedom with other buildings.

Hi, nice video thanks for putting it up. quick question Do you have to route materials to the processing plant from a storage module? for example: I setup an extractor route it to the storage facility, I setup a basic indy facility and link it to the storage facility and install a blue print. Do I then route the raw materials from the storage to the indy facility? Or does it draw the raw materials it required automatically. I ask because I did not see you do that in the video. Many Thanks.

Clearest advanced PI tutorial I've seen so far. What's the role of the 2 side storage units on your Barren production plant? You seem to have everything going through one storage facility so it doesn't seem that useful?

Thanks very much, i just like have extra storage so i can get all my resources down on that manufacturing planet and set up routes from the storage facility and then leave it then come back this way i find i don't have to micromanage the manufacturing process quite as much.

Hmmm, I might do it in low sec that is 1 jump from my home area. I make everything I get into the second level, such as water and toxic metal but I can't go any higher because the planet doesn't produce everything I need? Do I import stuff from other planets? I think i'll just export p2 stuff, the ones you make from the raw. No idea how much I can carry or how much it'll sell for though.

Hello! What happens when you have an extractor pulling more than 3k units of P0? If you route that extra directly to the same processor does it get wasted? I also don't understand, does an extractor pull al the listed resources over the course of your program or is that per cycle?

Are the P2/3 facilities not automatically taking the required material from the cargo hold on the planet? Do you really have to manually "charge" them with the materials all the time? Because if the production process only takes one hour would that not mean that you would need to charge them manually again and again as you did in the video? Would be awesome if you could elaborate on that part a bit. Otherwise awesome video, thanks!!!

  • @captainkevlar820

Yes the p2 and p3 automatically take the required materials from that particular cargo hold needed however you have to manually set only the once what you want the p2 and p3 to produce....thanks for your comment

If you still plan to make P4, it's best to buy either P2 or P3, or mix between them, and make it your self, without harvesting anything yourself.

Hiya...yeah sorry if didn't explain been playing eve a while and might have glanced over that bit...basically the goods you have on the planet in the launch pad you can send them to the customs office that is in orbit around the planet. Once the items have been sent to the customs office fly to that customs office in space and just get within range to take items out like a jet can...same with sending items to the planet it all goes through the customs office unless you launched your items from the command centre which I don't recommend due to lack of space in each launch and costs more isk

Thanks for the reply, this makes sense now. So the stuff you had in cargo hold at 17:39 was stuff you purchased for the processor to increase the resource value by processing right? The first time I watched it was what you were able to extract from that moon.

Hi Pegasi thanks for watching, well if I done this non stop with one character and really focused on this I would net around 1 billion a month depending on the market and the commodity I produce, I produce robotics and coolant. But yeah I see your point it can get really boring and nowadays I just do it when I am online.

+Pez TV Apparently, we may be building a citadel soon! (or sourcing materials for another big alliance) because my alliance just started a 100% jita buy buyback program for PI stuff. Apparently demand for PI materials is going up because citadels require it. Guess I picked a profitable time to start.

it would be cool if there was a variant of the seige module. called the "Planetary Seige Module" which is for the dreadnought class. it would allow dreadnoughts to "attempt" to fire onto your colonies. and there would be a small chance that it would hit. but it could easily disable your PI. orbital bombardment eh?

Its free isk after it pays for itself how is this not worth it? Doing PI in highsec combined with mining has allowed my 2 man corp to purchase a citadel, Orca, and we are now working towards a refinery and upwell moon mining drill. You have to play the market and produce whatever sells for the most. Yeah you have to manage planets but it can be done from anywhere (within like 10 jumps or some crap). Its free nearly AFK money maker. Even in hisec this is well worth the time and effort IMO.
