Good video and thank you for sharing, very helpful, one thing I will say to you though is that for an evaporative air conditioner to work very efficiently you must have ALL windows open a very small amount. If the wind is very strong outside you close the windows on the side of the house that the wind is coming from and open the other Windows a little bit more. I have the original Brivis contour L40 model and the Brivus instruction books that come with it tell you to do this. I had refrigerated reverse cycle air conditioning in my last house and it was very expensive to run but worked very well. The evaporative air conditioner in my current house is awesome it is SO MUCH cheaper to run it's unbelievable. Also I never have the fan roaring on high I always have the fan down low and it is quiet and sometimes the house is so cold I have to back it off a bit. Good on you for making the video it's very helpful cheers.

I just serviced our one the other day as the pads had a mouldy smell to them, however it seems the water is not flowing properly. Sometimes it flows, sometimes it doesn't, is there a way to check for blockage? Also ours must be wired different, the less bars on the wall control the faster the fan spins.

Mate, thanks for the demo. At 8.30 when you switch off, notice the lever does not go down and drain water. Does it have to wait a certain time before the lever does down to drain water?

Thanks for your video,my brivis display unit saying prewetting cooler pad,it doesn't work anything,what does it mean?

Prewetting means the pads are getting hydrating before the fan get start so just wait and open one of the sliding doors and have a look okk system will take time (may be 5 minutes) normally it will start 🤝
