It does help that Addie has had vocal training! She's an incredibly well-versed Soprano and showcases her control and technique quite blatantly: you can sometimes tell she's trying to restrain herself XD Of course, this being a studio cover means quite a bit of mixing has been done to make it more of a performance than a clean cover and that's fine.

Gotta say, I was surprised to see this cover bc of the differing vocal styles, but damn did Addie own it and make it her own. This feels fresh and new - not the typical redone cover!! Very cool to have implemented the style and done it so well. Thumbs up 👍🏼

Not gonna lie this song was one of the songs that started to bring me over to the rock genre and you all executed it really well.

No risk at all. Addie easily has the better voice. Amy Lee is easily one of the most over rated singers in the industry today. Amy doesn't put any energy or emotion into it at all.

You did a very good job recreating One of Evanescence tougher songs to play and sing. Drives me nut they left this style of music to more Piano softer Music.. This was great..

Lauren babic,violet, and halocene! Think I like them cause there's no autotune at all. Like the music we all listen to nowadays . Raw and talented. Good job 👏

You all did a great job, but I feel like this especially showcases how well trained Addies voice is. Doing those vocals properly without having your techniques locked and loaded seems, like, impossible to me. Doing more challeging songs and owning it is such a great accomplishment, well done, you guys!

Every time you release new music I am more impressed! Addie's extension and vocal power is so frightening, the technique of Bread and drummer that every time I forget the name, they are so well done and safe that they make the whole song feel firmer and well performed, you play as fuck and I always recommend your channel, keep up the good work, you inspired me to start recording my versions too! You rock

Comments make the algorithm perform better so here goes: In 1961, Leonard Ornstein first describes disc electrophoresis as a process which enables the sorting of molecules based on size. Using an electric field, molecules (such as DNA) can be made to move through a gel made of agarose or polyacrylamide. The electric field consists of a negative charge at one end which pushes the molecules through the gel, and a positive charge at the other end that pulls the molecules through the gel. The molecules being sorted are dispensed into a well in the gel material. The gel is placed in an electrophoresis chamber, which is then connected to a power source. (80s) So, it would be amazing I think, for you to do another collaboration with Violet Orlandi, First to 11, and Lauren Babic to sing some Def Leppard. Ok I absolutely love Addie and Halocene. I have a bunch of their music and listen to it in the car all the time. The cover everyone did for Aerials by SOAD was a masterpiece. And this is great, paid homage to the original while sounding unique as a cover usually should. But no, this is not better than the original. Amy Lee is one of the best vocalists in the world and try as one might, you cannot match her raw power and emotion.

You know why cover's are great? Especially when they're nailed as good as this they also kick you to go back and listen to that band because you may have, up until that point, stopped listening to it(for one reason or another) and get up to the with the band's going ons

Wow.. just wow. Amazing.

A cover of a song does not require the exact vocal ranges and musical tones. A unique spin on a song the artist adds is what makes it a masterpiece (equal or even better than the original). Disturbs "The Sound of Silence" has a completely different tone and feel to the original but I don't see people comparing vocal ranges and tones like I do here. Superb cover. Never disappointed.
