Evander Holyfield - Is an American former professional boxer who competed between 1984 and 2011. He reigned as the undisputed champion at cruiserweight in the late 1980s and at heavyweight in the early 1990s, and is the only boxer in history to win the undisputed championship in two weight classes in the three belt era. Nicknamed "the Real Deal", Holyfield is the only four-time world heavyweight champion, having held the unified WBA, WBC, and IBF titles from 1990 to 1992, the WBA and IBF titles again from 1993 to 1994, the WBA title a third time from 1996 to 1999; the IBF title a third time from 1997 to 1999 and the WBA title for a fourth time from 2000 to 2001.

One of the best Heavyweights and arguably the greatest Cruiserweight of all time! Evander Holyfield was an incredible fighter that had an unbreakable will to win and although he earned his legendary career status as a Heavyweight, his reign at Cruiserweight was dominant. The Real Deal's talent was clear to see right from the very beginning and his epic title winning performance against Dwight Muhammad Qawi is the best Cruiserweight fight of all time in my opinion. This man is a warrior and a lion. I'm glad he's not remembered for the exhibition Vitor Belfort fight.
That young Holyfield could have beaten anyone from 175-250 in the history of the sport on any given night. Superhuman abilities and punch resistance. Hanza, the soundtrack is fitting for this legendary Pugilist.

Because of his exploits at heavyweight, his dominant cruiserweight career is often overlooked. Punch power and superb movement, he'd be in any conversation about the best cruiserweight of all time. Great video, thanks for sharing.
His hands and feet worked together. No one ever had a bigger heart.

I try to tell people he moved constantly between and with every punch. Bivol has a different style but is always moving and punching. It made Evander so lethal. One of my all time favorites and he would have been great in any era of boxing history.

The real deal was a true savage beast in his prime.
Holyfield had different level of dominance at cruiser weight at the time when there was full of talents

The Real Deal was the beast at cruiserweight and his first fight with Qawi is one of the best Cruiserweight fights of all time.
A true warrior
Man I knew Holyfield had power at Cruiser, but the speed, combinations and footwork were ridiculous. You should do videos of Michael Moorer only at Light-heavy (Crazy power as well) and Tito at only Welterweight. Those guys including Evander were basically overpowered until they had to move up in weight. Excellent Edit 🥊💯👊

Cruiser Evander reminded me of Jack Dempsey. They were about the same size and both utilized highly technical combination punch swarming.

George Benton's 3rd best student after Whitaker and McCallum. Great fighter, but if he'd fought just a little smarter than harder (improved his defense a little more), he could've had even greater success

I mean what more success could he have achieved. He literally did everything you could think of. Undisputed. Fought and beat Multiple HOFers. Most of his bad performances came when he was an old man. His career blows Mccallums out of the water, and probably was better overall than Whitaker's.

That'd be really impressive given Maxi's performance against Kambosos, I thought he got jobbed on the cards in that one. He's really underrated because he has a number of losses but his improvement over these last few years has been awesome to watch.

Usyk's level of opposition at Heavyweight is nowhere near Holyfield's but I think it's fair to say he probably has the better overall resume at Cruiserweight. I do think Holyfield has the single best win out of the 2 though with his performance against Dwight Muhammad Qawi. I think Qawi beats Glowacki, Huck, Briedis and Gassiev.
