Most mexican weddings last 3 days ...and are very close to 1000 guests overall. Is the church ceremony in the morning on Friday, party that night with 300 guests plus, and then Saturday is the second party or "recalentado" for close family and friends , that's usually 100 guests , then Sunday is a second recalentado and clean up , that's real close family and that usually runs in the 80 guests at a house of the parents... and usually that day the newlyweds get taken to an airport or bus station or take off in the car to their honey moon trip . Add that she is rich, that makes for way way more guests and dinners and more days into the celebration. 🤷🏻♂️

If you have a ranch, yeah, families can have huge long lasting weddings. I don’t think that’s common in the States among Mexicans, most don’t live in ranches and it’s expensive to host venues to hold many people. In Mexico, you got a lot of fam. My parents are from Oaxaca and I’ve attended weedings over there that last 3 days of partying.
