@@muubie it's depending on the month of the year. during low seasons you can get a round trip economy ticket to taiwan from the major airports on the west coast. during christmas and chinese new years, you might be looking at $1,300. for premium economy, if you are lucky, during low seasons you can get about $800ish round trip. but definitely $1,300 and up during non-low seasons.

Oh that couple you made friends with on the flight were so cute! I'm a very nervous flyer, I had an absolutely wonderful gentleman sat next to me on my Manchester, UK to Las Vegas, NV flight, he eased my nerves so much! He even did a countdown to landing with me, bless him! I adore cats & your Mum's cats are gorgeous! Always a pleasure watching your videos TJ, you're so delightful.

I loved EVA Air! When we first went back to visit the Philippines, we were able to ride the Hello Kitty plane. I don't remember the food so much, but it was an overall great experience.

we flew to Taiwan with Eva Air in April and it was not bad! We really like how the seats were super comfortable! Thanks for sharing!

Can't eat the bread rolls on their flights but the rest of the food is quite reasonable. DON'T like the ear buds/speakers. They just don't fit!

The food on Eva Airline is really good considering being on a plane. The part I always loved about flying with them is that calming music they okay before you take off and before you land. Just makes me feel so calm. Lol.

I was looking at flying EVA Air from Seoul to Toronto with a layover in Taipei. The food looked decent enough to me in the video. Long haul I've only flown Cathay Pacific and Korean Air before which both had pretty good food.

Flew Eva business and the food was quite good. One of the best business class on any airline. They serve la grande damme too.

So far on all my trips to the Philippines the best airlines have been Nippon Airways and Cathay Pacific. Both had good service and really good food so they would be good ones to check out.

The food my family got in our EVA air economy flight was really good. I'm surprised yours didn't taste good.

Love that Eva Air uses steel utensils! Also love their bathroom 😋 too bad their economy food is subpar 😭 good tip on the TPE airport food court! we might try it when we go there in July. did you ride a bus going to your mom's home? I thought the airport MRT is only until 12mn?

We tried to fly eva air but our flights were on the day after the strike started and the day before it endef

Hahahaha My favorite part was the seatbelt light. I don’t understand people getting up so quick and fast there’s like a couple dozen people ahead of you not to mention more lines outside. But hey they probably need to run to the bathroom after that long hall flight. Nice vlog review. 👍🏻👍🏻

Love EVA! I fly them twice a year for the past 4 years, always a good experience just need to be ready for a 15 pound carry on limit! ;)

@@hannahbee6527 No, the personal item is separate, just make sure it's not over the size limit on their site they don't weigh that bag as long as it's like a purse or a small bag to hold your electronics tablet, cell phone, etc.

Cupoftj how was the check in process? I read that u can only check in 12hrs before your flight, an thats the time you can pick your seat (unless you pay). Is this true? I got this from their website an it will be my first time flying.

Taipei airport has the best food I've ever eaten!!

I had a layover in Taipei like 3 weeks ago and I wasn't able to go to the food court :(

Just came back from a long trip to Taiwan and South Korea. Taiwan was the best by far. The friendliest people, the food was amazing, and everything is so cheap. Taipei felt like an international city, very tourist friendly. South Korea was beautiful and very clean. People were cold even while using polite words, but we rarely felt it. Seoul was not a tourist friendly type of country. Expensive for okay food. Didn’t live up to the hype. Just my opinion as a traveler. Gamsahabnida. Peace

Koreans are known to be very shy and do not really interact with foreigners as they are scared to speak English.. of course this is not everyone but I lived in SK for 2 years and it was difficult to connect with the people.. I however enjoyed the food (after I got used to it) and the great shopping :)
