Awww, this might be one of the cutest animations I’ve ever seen!
the fact that there a was a chance of rescue but fails would be scary just imagine getting stuck on the moon
Wow, I love how you still somehow manage to stay with ksp’s wacky and funny characteristics, i really hope you take off with your channel today

I can’t grasp how IMMACULATE your animation is!!!!!!!!! Can’t wait to see SpaceK’s rescue if you continue this!!!!!!!!!!
If only there was a crack team of kerbonauts who could help this stranded explorer.
I remember when bob was sent on a mission on the mun to install a lab and some ground science, but the lander landed terribly and he was stuck on the mun. SO I INSTANTLY STARTED A RESCUE MISSION. But failed, and failed, and failed... But I was determined to rescue him! Now he has a extreme case of PTSD... I'll send him tomorrow to Duna!
Haha, this is awesome. The kerbal's face at 1:27 made me think that the worst had happened, but thankfully it was just asleep XD
This is like the Martian just on the mun
I was dying when that sand rocket fell apart and the Kerbal was just disappointed. Lol. Keep up the great work, man!
Man. This is *criminaly* underrated
My first EVA was on orbit, and it was a game of "how far can i get from the craft and still be able to get back and catch the ladder?" i think i lost at about 100m distance because i started that round of the game on the wrong part of the orbit. that's when i learned why it's not necessarily that easy to rendezvous with an orbiting thing even if it's just a few meters away.
Dude thats fantastick
Once again, you have wonderfully made a mini masterpiece. You have managed to capture the essence of the Kerbal experience in a matter of seconds.
Beautiful animation. I really like this little guy. I do like the official KSP cinematics, but there's something of a spark this guy has in him that just makes you feel happy.
what i love is that this is so kerbal, every single thing is totally kerbal humour, and i love it.
I was expecting the golf ball to somehow make it all the way around the Mun and break something. Instead, all that broke was my heart.
I love how the Kerbal just stands AFK like the player isn’t moving him
I loved how the camera he was using looked like the modified Hassleblad NASA took to the moon. A nice little touch.
@BlayneFX
Жыл бұрын
Thanks! Yea I basically tried to make a Kerbal-ised version of that Hassleblad camera
Incredible work! Not only is the animation superb, but the storyline is really engaging (and sadly relatable). Looking forward to the next one!

I loved the forced perspective at the beginning, and Acapello 18. Those feels at the end! This is the Kerbal short fiction we’ve been looking for.

The way he sleeps XD
Amazing work! Keep it up!
i like how he just has a moment to himself in the timelapse 1:13
1:28 nobody that one kerbal you forgot to send back after the eva
The ksp ringtone killed me. Well done.
Now I feel guilty, I still have Valentina stuck on the mun.
That flying Tesla on the accelerated shot is amazing easter egg:DDD And whole video is amazing cinematic! Really great work

The details are amazing, from the tiny cracked button, to the rust on the control panels, this is just awesome
Wow, this is absolutely amazing. This must have required a ton of work. I’m looking forward to part three.
I thought he died for a second, and got sad. Great work.
This is better than most space movies, amazing work!
dont worry little guy, there are infinite snacks and drinks in the cabin
Is there symbolism in that SpaceK is coming to rescue him, and earlier a sand (regolith?) sculpture reminiscent of a certain rocket collapsed?
@BlayneFX
3 жыл бұрын
Perhaps! Glad you noticed :) There are definitly underlying tones of out with the old, in with the new, I'll admit.
1:16 just a roadster passing by
this makes me want to rescue all the kerbals i stranded on eve
Well done! We all admire your talent to bring the charm of the game to an entertaining animation. I cannot wait for part 3! Keep up the great work that the community so greatly appreciate - thank you!

cool :)
As a kerbal, I find this cimpletely accurate.
I love the Tesla roadster in the background
Wow!! Amazing animation it takes me back to the original squad animations , would love to see animations like this in some kind of story mode in ksp 2!
Can't wait for the Kerbal to finally press the F9 button in the capsule.
I love it
I love the Easter eggs, spaceK is SpaceX and a;l this other stuff. I love this series
Best kerbal animation I've seen so far
This looks amazing!
Mindblowing how perfect the author immitaded the lunar surface and how the light behaves on it. So underrated
This is amazing I hope this blows up, good job.
this is so cool!!
one of the best animations i have seen, which job you should have a lot more followers
I loved that roster in moon orbit hahaha. amazing video

A masterpice. LOVE the cinematography.
Looks better than the official ksp ones, poor jeb
Good work! The SLS crumbling to dust could have been a little better, but other than that, it was flawless. Good storyline too. BTW nice tesla ;)
You did an awesome job at developing Kip's personality without even one word. Great job, continue ! (Btw still can't believe you got noticed by ksp)
@BlayneFX

Thanks I’m glad you’re enjoying Kip, I will continue. Yeaa, imagine they named a Kerbal Kip in KSP2!
It's fine you can leave him there until you get a proper kerbal rescue ship
This is the Best ksp series i ever seen
This is fantastic you are the best.
For one moment i tink the kerbal was saved poor kerbal
KSP can be quite depressing sometimes. A kerbal trapped on another planet far from home and you have no idea how to rescue them.
Astonishing animation! You've earned my subscription. Excited to see what the future holds for lil' Kip!😀

Can't wait for Part 3. These are wonderful, great job!

Amazing. Just amazing. Can't wait for the next episode !
I genuinely feel bad now for leaving my kerbals behind without sending rescue

1:16 **tesla intensifies**
Another fantastic installment. Is it possible you've improved since Part 1? Some of the attention to detail is truly impressive. My favorite technical moment is around 2:05, the relationship between the head and the helmet movement is incredibly natural. I was transfixed on the scratch and how great a detail it was and then the "late" movement of the helment ... ahhhhh BLISS. This was great!

Thanks so much, I'm glad you enjoyed all the little details I have added. I do think I am getting a bit better at character animating.
1:13 if you wondered what that was it was the tesla roadster still flying in space
Such a cute story and amazing animation work, generally thought this was a KSP Short Film from squad but better! ;)
