Our founder Richard Norris gives his thoughts on some of the best small EV's on the market.
Depending on the number of miles you do, a small EV may be all you need. We take a look at the Volkswagen e-Up along with its siblings the Seat Mii and Skoda CityGo and compare them to one of their main rivals, the Smart EQ (Smart EV).

I use Skoda citigo everyday, and i find it very easy to use, charge and good range. Good value for money!

Great info. Didn’t realise the E-Up was designed for electric. (Though do realise it doesn’t come from Yorkshire). Also Skoda version not having CCS, which counts it out for me.

The E Mii has CCS and sells for less than the E Up.

avalible? i see one test car eUp and a single imported Smart avalible on the local website. they both cost more than they r worth(could probably grab a cheap Zoe with an owned battery for the money). but there is such a thing as the Dacia Spring and Renault Twingo Z.E.(basically a Smart4four with a bigger battery) and they r cheaper than either of them and quite readily avalible. also, where i am from, a 22kW AC charger is actually the most common type of public charger in my country(all tho its worth mentioning that if 2 cars plug into one of them, the power will be split between the cars) and the rapid chargers mostly come with 22kW or 43kW Type 2 connectors. so travel options galore, i guess.

And less range. Looks god, but it really should be cheaper affordable and with better range.
