Cool Video iTripReport! Eurowings has always been an airline that I am curious about based off their looks and operations! I tried to film a Trip Report on them while I was in Germany but sadly that plan fell through. Can't Wait to talk to you in person in 4 days onboard the UNITED A321neo Inaugural! See you then!

15:08 eurowings is in lufthansa group but low-cost within a group usually doesn’t join alliance. Same applies to Air France KLM’s Transavia, ANA’s Zip Air and Singapore’s Scoot.

@iTripReport are you going on the inaugural a321neo United flight?

The only good part of the flight looked to be the charcuterie plate. How much did they charge for it? Otherwise, it made my recent cross-country WN flight with IFE, WiFi, free drinks, and similar if not more legroom positively luxurious.

The European aviation market is one of the most cost competitive in the world. Eurowings is the budget branch of Lufthansa, so you can't expect first class experience, which for shorter European flights, is just fine

I was caught off guard by the CFM LEAP engines, as most of LHG's A320neo family aircraft use the PW1100G. Is there a reason why they chose CFM over PW for Eurowings' aircraft?

@@ITripReport another thing: do you think the Del Valle family will be able to restart Interjet? I highly doubt it (multiple of their family members can’t even do proper grammar!)

​@@marko_ys LHG ordered the A320neo and A321neo with both engine options. Eurowings was just the first to receive the LEAP, Brussels is next (first already delivered end of October but not in service yet). Eventually, LH itself will operate both engines at some point in the future. In fact, all future A32x neo deliveries from the current orderbook will now be CFM powered.

For a short flight, I would try it. But not for anything more.

Lufthansa is notorious for poor inflight amenities, such as wifi. I was on a new A321neo from Frankfurt to Cairo, a 3+ hour flight, and it might as well have a a LCC. O was incredibly disappointed.

Even though the prices aren't low cost, they defnitely advertise themselves as a low cost airline, which makes most things you're complaining about obvious for me.

Eurowings is a bit of a low-cost carrier so it's obvious that there's gonna be no power outlets.

WN in the US are also a LCC and even they have started installing USB ports. Lack of power should be reserved for ULCCs nowadays.
