Flew in Econ on a Delta 738 Newark to Atlanta earlier this year. Was fine for what it is and better kept than the similar-age United 738 I had on the return. Perfectly decent plane.

I like these seats, I always fly on these when I fly Delta. Also, after flying JetBlue Mint (old version) and this older delta first, which do you like better? I personally love mint, and this comes in second for me.

Never flown first class, wouldn't mind someday... That meal looked better than what I eat at home.

Great review as always. I always ask this…..was the wine out of a bottle? I’m still paranoid about that awful canned wine that we had last summer in first class. lol! The meal looked amazing. Merry Christmas!

This one was out of a bottle! But it was also an October only selection! I have to start being more vigilant when getting drinks poured, although it’s always a nice touch when FAs pour right at your seat! Merry Christmas!

I wonder if they'll replace the overhead bins when they do the cabin upgrades?

That rose wine was pretty good.

Fantastic review, and the SPOOKY music cracked me up each time it came on!!😂 One thing that Delta and jetBlue FAs do, that I wish more FAs from other carriers would do, is say where they are based during their announcements. It's a small touch, but I like it. Lastly, I hope UA takes note, because their catering is definitely subpar(AWFUL)!

as a FA I never do this. Im sorry but you are in the minority and most passengers just dont care. Anything I can do to cut down on the amount im talking in the PA im sure most appreciate it as It disrupts whatever entertainment they are watching or listening to

@@umbreonpokemon8190 Just after landing and during the taxi to the gate so as not to interrupt entertainment, if there is any onboard. You know your job better than I do, so I'm sure you're correct. Most passengers probably don't care, but, from one paying passenger's perspective, I'm glad Delta and jetBlue FAs do it anyway.

AA announces their bases also.

I find the older seats much more comfortable than the thin new design. I happen to really like Delta and fly them when ever I can. You didn't eat your salad, shame. Great flight and video.

oh yeah, in terms of comfort i strongly prefer these seats. The NEO seats are amazing (in terms of practicality), but these i would much definitively prefer on a red eye

Ahhh, that all too familiar buzz saw noise from the CFM56-7B fan. One of the 1st class perks for being forward of the engine inlet. As a retired GE Aviation engineer I cringe every time I fly on the 737 and hear that godawful noise

My understanding was that the only Delta Boeing 737-800s getting retrofitted were the ones that still have the tiny IFE screens. Honestly, they need it more than these. Technically the seats are the same, other than these having larger screens. So maybe these are the second oldest first class seats?

Honestly I think Deltas 737 family are some of the worst aircraft in their fleet… they feel outdated and definitely not up to the same standards as the A320/A220 series aircraft. I’d be much happier being on one of those. Great video tho bud!
